“Loved stumbling upon this vegan burger joint, especially with McD’s right across the street it was nice to see a veg competitor. They specialize in Impossible-patty burgers dressed up every way imaginable. The quality is superb, bread is perfectly fluffy, fries are crispy and soft on the inside, sauces taste much more gourmet than typical condiments you’d find. The chicken and fish patties are made with Gardein brand soy-proteins. They are stylized like a fast food joint with kiosk ordering and open seating inside. A burger, side and fries cost $26. “Wow! This place hits the mark on all levels. Their double-fermented bread is easy on the belly and delicious — the next-best to gluten-free. They juice the drinks for you from fresh, organic produce that you can see in their fridge — talk about transparency in terms of customers seeing the ingredients. Their salads are so fresh, with interesting ingredients such as watermelon radish — yum! It’s the first time I’ve tried that. It has a slightly sweet flavor and very crunchy texture. I had the avocado toast and chai latte, made with coconut milk. The chai spices were really superior to any coffee house I’ve visited. You can purchase imported spices there and buy loose teas by the spoonful. I bought nettle tea. You’ll find cards and notebooks and even gently used fashionable clothes there for sale. “This place has amazing vegan food!! My girlfriend and I always stop by whenever we are in the area. The nachos and tacos are our personal favorites! The location is also perfect because right after you finish eating you can explore the little shops around and digest a bit. The staff is also very nice and who doesn’t love that? Highly recommend!“
“We did Door dash for pick up. I personally didn't care for the spicy sauce on the spicy green beans so if I order them again I'd get just the green beans, BUT that's a personal preference. The turkey pot pie was good especially because it was dairy free and I don't usually get to have dairy free pot pie. My family was impressed with the mashed potatoes. If you order a Bite Box it is a single side and a main. The Single Box requires three sides, which is a lot even too much food for lunch or a light dinner. (We were ordering online on DoorDash for the first time so we were confused about how to order just one side and one main but we eventually figured it out.) It was a good healthy lunch and I appreciated that they do dairy free food quickly. “I LOVE this place! My family and I wanted to go somewhere new and decided on Skal Pizza. It being our first time we didn't know what to get. Our server Payton was so patient and kind. He suggested the butternut squash pizza and the kale ceaser salad. And he was right, it was amazing! We could tell the staff were all so friendly and our server was especially helpful. “You know that type of family that you dread coming to visit you but you have to be nice to them because they only visit once every few years? Yeah... I made the mistake of bringing a family member here yesterday. She was so rude to the waiter. The waiter was wonderful, answered all of our questions, helped with recommendations, and checked up on us often. And even when the family member in question was rude to the waiter and kept trying to show him pictures of a restaurant she visited overseas on her phone. The waiter very politely viewed her photos and described the dishes she had eaten. The waiter was very professional! The food was amazing and it was a good amount of food for the price. They have vegetarian options and meat options for us carnivores. The restaurant was empty since this restaurant is hidden from street view but it is worth the trip. I know I will be ordering from here more often and leaving that rude family member at home. Thank you to the cooks and the staff at this restaurant! You are all amazing! “I walked in and I was surprised to see how cheap all the food was (California standards) and I ordered the onion rings and the everyday special (Burger + Fries + Drink for 10.50) and they were pretty good. The food wasn’t master chef food but it was very comforting and fills you up for less, and there are plenty of items on the menu to choose from so a burger and fries were just a taste of what’s to come.The service was great, the owner was super nice and the chefs were wholesome and cool.The restaurant is small but the atmosphere screamed artistic so size didn’t really matter. This restaurant is located near the beach so I understand that its main intention was to give beach people more food for less and I like that. “Came here after walking out of Champagne’s and was just really happy to see printed menus for my 93 yo dad-in-law haha. While both places serve great food I find the staff here to be very friendly, happy to be working here, and more eager to help. It was definitely easier for my father in law to pick and order his food instead of being forced to stand in front of the counter and look up at the menu. Try the grains bowl - healthy and delicious with corn and sweet potatoes and a little bite back with the sauce.“
