“Quick and fresh. Loved our burritos. Seems to be more of a take out place. There’s two tables out front, one of which we were able to snag to chow down before heading to our appointment in town. The cabbage in the burrito gives it that crunch and the salsa is so flavorful. The steak was delicious too! I added beans and no rice for maximum flavor!!!“

“If you’re visiting Laguna Beach and haven’t been to Splashes Restaurant at the Surf & Sand Hotel, you’re missing out on one of the area’s hidden gems. A lot of people assume you have to be staying at the hotel to eat there, but that’s not the case at all. We simply walked in, spent a few minutes enjoying the incredible ocean views from the lobby, and then headed down for breakfast around 7:10.

To our surprise, we practically had the place to ourselves. The setting is unbeatable—waves crashing just outside the windows and a perfect panoramic view of the Pacific.

The food was every bit as impressive as the scenery. I had the blueberry pancakes with Meyer lemon syrup, and they were absolutely amazing. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and thoughtfully prepared.

Between the spectacular oceanfront location and the outstanding food, this instantly jumped to the top of my list of favorite breakfast spots in Laguna Beach. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area. “As a native Thai visiting Laguna beach I'm pretty surprised that I can find authentic Thai food in this area. I've been here twice already and the food is really great. They use great beef quality. They put a lot of Thai ingredients that you may not be able to find at other Thai restaurants here. Their dishes are really great qualities. I love their beef salad, Thai fried rice, drunken noodles, beef pad kaprao, and if they have mango sticky rice definitely try it! I just took my family there the other day and my family was happy with the food. Usually my dad is pretty picky with food and he only loves Thai food. Definitely come check out this place if you are in the area and crave for Thai food.“

“I love Maro's! As a local, this is my go-to spot for fresh, healthy dishes like the green beans and shishito peppers. The empanadas, especially the mushroom ones, are delicious. While I enjoy most of the entrées on the menu, my favorite is the bone-in filet—super yummy! The owners and staff are always on duty and aim to please, making you feel like family. The ambiance is great too, whether you choose to sit indoors or outdoors. For a more intimate setting, sitting indoors is perfect, but if you want to enjoy the fresh ocean breeze, the outdoor patio is the way to go.“
