“We had high hopes coming to Olea, but alas we were disappointed. Location/Ambiance: Westcliff Plaza and small with a large bar at the front, the layout leaves little space for tables. We sat in a snug booth alongside the windows with a view of Susie Cakes next door. The decor is warm and modern. Food: Subpar! Burnt bread but delicious whipped butter. Butter lettuce and Goat cheese salad was bland with a basic dressing. Mac and cheese skillet was good but nothing amazing. Filet was dry with overdone gluey mashed potatoes, and underdone broccolini. Halibut was pan seared to a dry mess with an inedible coating, bland steamed seasonal vegetables of cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli as a side. Service: Friendly and Fake, if you enjoy watching servers walk away from your table talking about how "picky and difficult you are" this is a perfect spot. My Mother has dietary restrictions and we are specific to ensure a safe dining experience, it's sad when that's met with disdain. Overall: We won't be back!“

“What a lovely surprise! We had been eyeing Himalayan Delights since it opened and finally ordered take out a few months ago. It’s been on repeat ever since! We have tried the butter chicken, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, tandoori, naan, and our absolute favorite is the chicken momo!! Omg it’s amazing. Wonderful service, delicious and authentic food….it’s our go-to for Indian/Nepalese. Must try!“

“Wonderful family owned place! The most authentic Italian restaurant outside of Italy. At Il Farro food is prepared with attention and real LOVE. Everything from the appetizers to dessert were perfect. Every dish is made with true italian fresh and natural ingredients and is made by traditional recipes. The talented chef M. makes pastas and pizzas daily and they taste amazing. Also the house wine is a good selection. I suggest you to have their own valuable wine. Il Farro has a great management and staff too. We loved interacting with customers and guys who work in, they became like family for us. The qualified employees are friendly helpful and the restaurant is always clean. They do have enough seats and limited outdoor seating, but get a reservation in advance to make sure you have a place.Hands off, this is the best place to gather with friends or family! We stopped by this small family-owned sandwich shop for the first time, and from the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. Jerry, the owner, greeted us with the warmth and friendliness of someone welcoming regular customers he had known for years. That kind of hospitality is rare these days and immediately made us feel at home.

Every sandwich we ordered was outstanding. The bread was fresh, the vegetables were crisp and vibrant, and every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh. You could hear the crunch of the vegetables in each bite and tell that every sandwich was made with care and attention, not simply assembled and handed over. It’s the kind of food that reminds you how delicious simple, fresh ingredients can be when prepared by people who truly care.

We also ordered a strawberry-banana smoothie, and to our surprise, Jerry brought complimentary sample smoothies not only to our table but also to another couple dining nearby. It was such a thoughtful gesture and speaks volumes about the kind of people who run this business.

What made the experience even more meaningful was hearing Jerr’s story. He shared that he came to America in 1981 after escaping the horrors of war in Cambodia. He endured unimaginable hardship as a child, including witnessing the loss of his father and being separated from his family before eventually reuniting with his mother years later. Listening to his journey made us appreciate even more the resilience, gratitude, and kindness he brings to his business every day.

Running a small business is not easy, and Jerry mentioned that the margins are tight and times can be challenging. After experiencing both the food and the hospitality firsthand, I truly hope more people discover this hidden gem. Businesses like this deserve community support.

I’m so glad I found this place on Google Maps and decided to give it a chance. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the people behind it are genuinely wonderful. This is exactly the kind of local business I want to support.

If you’re in Irvine and craving a fresh, delicious sandwich made with care by some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t be disappointed.

We’ve already saved it and will absolutely be back the next time we’re in Irvine.

“On a recent trip to England where I met the queen herself, she asked if I had been to TK Burger... I had not, but I promised to go first thing when I got back.

The atmosphere is local, friendly, and inviting besides a bull dog that relieved itself right out front.

The fries are great, burger had really potential but was a little overcooked and dry for me. The burger as a hole was juicy though.

This burger was like a shampoo'y head dip... almost doing the thing but not quite. Still stoked though, you know?“

The food and service are just as exceptional: my go-to dishes are the scallops, the lamb, and all the steaks. The seafood is so fresh and the steaks are far superior in flavor to any high-end restaurant. For appetizers, the ahi tuna tartare is a must-try (THE BEST I’ve had anywhere), and the calamari with its Thai-style twist of chilies, green onion, and cilantro over an amazing salad is a standout. Desserts? Absolutely heavenly. The cheesecake and panna cotta are favorites, but the Grand Marnier souffle is simply to die for. The service is also impeccable…from the moment you arrive with the complimentary valet service, to the hostesses, the bartenders, servers, and bussers. Everyone is so friendly and attentive! Bayside is an experience I cherish every time. Can’t wait for my next visit!“

“If you find yourself in Newport Beach, definitely visit Woody's Wharf. It opened in 1965 and is a staple in the area. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served and the food is delicious. Clam chowder is made fresh daily. They have martini Mondays and a daily champagne brunch that goes until 3 pm. They have a full service bar with a beautiful view of the marina. People are friendly and the customer service is amazing. Bar, table top and outdoor seating is available. It can get busy on weekends and holidays, so consider reservations. Definitely check it out, cheers and bon appe'tit, I'll definitely see you there.“

There is both indoor and outdoor seating. It is worth going to even if you do not work in that specific building. You can order online and your food is ready when you arrive.“
