“We had high hopes coming to Olea, but alas we were disappointed. Location/Ambiance: Westcliff Plaza and small with a large bar at the front, the layout leaves little space for tables. We sat in a snug booth alongside the windows with a view of Susie Cakes next door. The decor is warm and modern. Food: Subpar! Burnt bread but delicious whipped butter. Butter lettuce and Goat cheese salad was bland with a basic dressing. Mac and cheese skillet was good but nothing amazing. Filet was dry with overdone gluey mashed potatoes, and underdone broccolini. Halibut was pan seared to a dry mess with an inedible coating, bland steamed seasonal vegetables of cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli as a side. Service: Friendly and Fake, if you enjoy watching servers walk away from your table talking about how "picky and difficult you are" this is a perfect spot. My Mother has dietary restrictions and we are specific to ensure a safe dining experience, it's sad when that's met with disdain. Overall: We won't be back!“

“What a lovely surprise! We had been eyeing Himalayan Delights since it opened and finally ordered take out a few months ago. It’s been on repeat ever since! We have tried the butter chicken, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, tandoori, naan, and our absolute favorite is the chicken momo!! Omg it’s amazing. Wonderful service, delicious and authentic food….it’s our go-to for Indian/Nepalese. Must try!“

“Been coming here for 30+ years. Arguably the best burger and fries around. The Photography on the wall documents the history of the local surf spots. There's always an attractive girl to help you out and some chill dude cooking the burgers, every time since I fist visited this place. Great location, awesome vibes.“

“Found LaValentina's Big Cheese on Facebook, Glad we did. The pizza reminded me of the tast of pizza back east and the cheese is better than most california pizzas. The antipasta salad was generous proportions of meat and cheese. This will be our go-to place for to-go Italian food.“

Our waiter brought the large Nachos instead of the small by mistake but we saved the rest for a snack later. We enjoyed the brunch so much that we decided to visit the place again on another day for dinner. We had the Sirloin steak and Shrimp scampi which was the day’s special. The Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection. The kids had Fish and Chips and Pasta Marinara. Great quality food and good portion sizes for the price! I got the Spicy mango mocktail. It was oh so delicious! Next time we visit Newport Beach, we are definitely stopping by again. Special shout out to Jack Velour, the magician who entertained us at our table with amazing tricks while we waited for the food!“
