Great food and always awesome service
One of a kind experience, Maria is a Gem keep that one around she’s a beauty
Great find for our large group. They were great about splitting the checks, drinks were excellent, maybe a little strong! Food, Adults and Kids all happy. Nice outdoor patio with some heaters as the nites can be a little on the cool side. Plenty of Seating inside too.

Avila's El Ranchito is a Newport Beach staple for a reason. This restaurant offers great authentic Mexican food, with good portions of satisfying Mexican comfort food. The tomatillo salsa is particularly good, and the chips and salsa are solid. The lunch specials are fabulous, worth the price, and the flavors do not disappoint. For specific meals, the ceviche is a total bop, served with lil saltines, and the tacos y caldo is a famous comforting soup with crunchy tacos. A cold watermelon margarita is perfect after a beach day. The atmosphere is great, with a classic vibe inside near the bar and a lovely enclosed patio area that feels shaded. There is also a kids play area on the patio with lots of toys. Service is friendly, helpful, and attentive. The location is great, with a small parking lot in the back and paid street parking. Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour menus are available.
