Always a good choice. Chill atmosphere and delicious food and drinks. Love the location.
Great food during lunch time. Got the fresco burrito and enjoyed it. The sauce choice was a little disappointing but the burrito was so good even with what they had. I highly recommend you go here and try it out

Avila's El Ranchito is a Newport Beach staple for a reason. This restaurant offers great authentic Mexican food, with good portions of satisfying Mexican comfort food. The tomatillo salsa is particularly good, and the chips and salsa are solid. The lunch specials are fabulous, worth the price, and the flavors do not disappoint. For specific meals, the ceviche is a total bop, served with lil saltines, and the tacos y caldo is a famous comforting soup with crunchy tacos. A cold watermelon margarita is perfect after a beach day. The atmosphere is great, with a classic vibe inside near the bar and a lovely enclosed patio area that feels shaded. There is also a kids play area on the patio with lots of toys. Service is friendly, helpful, and attentive. The location is great, with a small parking lot in the back and paid street parking. Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour menus are available.
