“They have the absolutely best enchilada sauce around. They used this aged Wisconsin cheese that has such a unique flavor and it melts perfectly. Don't forget the house margarita 😋 I have been eating at El Cholo for over 35 years and have never been disappointed“

“Service was fast, surroundings are fine although the parking lot is a bit cramped and don’t give off the best vibes.
With that said, the fire-grilled combo for $6.99 with chicken burrito, chips, and drink is nearly unbeatable. The burrito has pinto beans and cheese and was perfectly cooked. Chips were thick and crisp. Soda machine injected the perfect amount of sugar.
As a point of reference, McDonalds’s Big Mac combo is $12.39.“

“Avilas El Ranchito was delicious with a comfy atmosphere. Our server, Will, was very kind, recommended some amazing dishes and was quick with his service! Next time I’m in the area I’m coming back! The steak Mayan burrito was scrumptious and the perfect size.“

“They put us in a very comfortable corner booth next to a window, so it was comfortable and bright, and separated enough from the other guests so that when it got loud, we could still hear each other talk. The brunch food was excellent....Short Rib Benedict and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The decor is stunning and the service was excellent! We will be back!“

“Very nice place to eat. We stopped by while visiting the area. The host was very nice and even explained that they make everything themselves and use beef tallow. The food was delicious and if I’m ever back in this area, I will be sure to stop by again.“

“This is a great beachside bar and Mexican restaurant, but the menu was a bit misleading. Their menu had a whole section dedicated to their signature margaritas, but there isn’t a price in sight. I got a strawberry margarita which was a whopping $30, or half of my bill. I could’ve guessed the margaritas would be expensive, but it would’ve been nice to know for sure, and maybe gone with a cheaper option. Nonetheless, the chicken quesadilla was really good, the location is amazing, the service was solid, and the margarita was delicious (as it should be for $30 lol).“

“Food was top notch at this spot here. I loved that we had the option to have a full meal here from starting off with soup, tortillas, calamari appetizer (super crunchy), fantastic lobster that was cooked perfectly (every bite is a great memory), and topping it all of with some yummy dessert. Honestly I can’t even think of how everything else was because the lobster stole the show.“

The atmosphere is vibrant yet elegant, with stunning ocean views 🌊 that make every visit feel special. Having lived in this area for a few years, I can honestly say it’s one of the most beautiful places around – the kind of spot that makes you fall in love with Newport Beach all over again. ✨“
“Every time I come to Cali for vacation I must visit the JUICE BAR at Whole Foods for my morning fix of greens. I love this location. I never come to Orange County without visiting this particular location for my morning fix of greens. This is one of my favorite Whole Foods for their JUICE BAR. Awesome!!!“

I just want to appreciate Gladys she is one of the best workers whenever we go there she provides an exceptional customer service/ Bar now we don’t look at the menu we just ask her what should we order and everything and every time she recommends something we love it. “There is a God!! I have been away for years working in North Dakota praying for a shrimp burrito. I was in Balboa over weekend and got my Shrimp fix. So darn good! The best shrimp soze and taste anywhere. They have not changed anything during this bad inflation. Miss the salsa bar but they gave us plenty. Most great places come and eventually go but GM is still.#1. Thank you Peter and staff!!.“
