“I haven’t been going to a chipotle that often. I get the steak burrito, and it is better when the steak is freshly cooked and not sitting in a compartment for half the day. I do like their burrito. I have one question. Why will chipotle not cut your burrito in half. They offer you a plastic knife which doesn’t do the job. If anyone knows the answer please share. Is it because of a lawsuit or what . I’m just guessing“

“We found Avila’s El Ranchito on-line and decided to give it a try. We had about 45 minute wait so we knew it must be good. A little mix up in the list to be seated. There was another “David party of 2” that arrived AFTER we did but they jumped at the chance to be seated before us. The staff was very friendly. The portions were large enough that we shared a meal and were plenty satisfied. The food was very delicious. The salsa was not what you would call mild so for those with sensitive palates be aware! The atmosphere was loud inside but relatively quiet outside. We would dine at this restaurant again.“

“I was introduced to this place by a friend of mine who originally comes from Missouri. I would have never stopped here otherwise. It’s almost hidden and easy to pass right by. DELICIOUS tacos in a perfect little beach-friendly, local surfer type spot. Tables are literally next to the parking spots, just plopped in the lot. Come here for sunshine, great tacos and a reminder that life it full of greatness when you ditch the fluff. Great staff too! Cash only, fyi“

“There is a God!! I have been away for years working in North Dakota praying for a shrimp burrito. I was in Balboa over weekend and got my Shrimp fix. So darn good! The best shrimp soze and taste anywhere. They have not changed anything during this bad inflation. Miss the salsa bar but they gave us plenty. “The food and drinks are always fabulous but the service is honestly what keeps me coming back. Literally the best service I’ve had at any restaurant and I go to a lot of high end restaurants. The best part they always remember me but, honestly I think it’s because my very large brown and white standArd poodle who actually sits in the both with me. Either way I love the waitresses there all so sweet and friendly and, I really enjoy the food and drinks. It’s my Tuesday night go to.“

“I’ve only been here once, but my first experience was a good one. I ordered the tacos al pastor, and they were definitely delicious, flavorful, and filling. You can tell there’s a reason this place gets so much attention.

That said, I do think it’s a little overpriced and maybe a bit overrated. It’s usually pretty crowded, which is obviously a good sign and says something about how popular the food is, but be prepared to wait. The lines can be long, and it can take a while to get your food.

Overall, I enjoyed my meal and wouldn’t rule out coming back. I’ll probably give them another try soon and see if the second visit changes my mind!“

“I’ve been coming to Que Vida Tacos HB for over a year since I discovered they were in Beach Blvd in Morhers shopping center. Their food is excellent and their service is exceptional. They are very kind, friendly and always go out of their way for me and as am eating, I notice them asking other tables, how they like their food and if there is anything else they need. I would give more stars, if I could because Que Vida Tacos is bringing back the genuine old school service that is rear to find. Edwin Jess, Big T, everyone is awesome.“

The beans and rice were good, the chicken was tasty but oversalted in my opinion. Also, the tortillas were little beat up from being heated in the microwave maybe?? The service is great here and they get the food out quickly. It's a really popular spot in Costa Mesa.“

The meats are incredible, the carnitas melt in your mouth, the chicken is tender and juicy and the asada sopes are divine.
