“I had the $60 omakase-style lunch, and it was excellent. The quality of the fish really stood out—everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Considering the quality and variety offered, it was a very good value.
The only downside was the pace of service. It took a while for some courses to arrive, and the overall meal lasted longer than expected for lunch. While the food was worth the wait, the experience felt a bit drawn out.
Overall, Sugarfish delivers outstanding sushi with exceptional freshness and value. If you're not in a hurry and can enjoy a leisurely meal, it's definitely worth a visit.”

The venue is gorgeous of course and it's difficult to leave roaming the beautiful nursery & craft store area to get to your reservation so give yourself plenty of time during your visit for shopping. The capable service staff is eager to please and every dish is thoughtfully prepared/presented. A couple of our favorite dishes are: the Asian beef short ribs & the Pomegranate & balsamic glazed salmon salad which are reasonably priced and delicious. A bonus for us as Guide Dog puppy raisers is they're dog friendly.”

“Pizza is absolutely amazing , went 2 days in a row after a friend recommended. Friends and I got a 1/2 cheese,1/2 pepperoni large and it may be the best pizza I’ve ever had I had 4 slices. And these are very large slices . I was so Surprised by the flavor and richness in the sauce and well cooked NY style thin crust. “Gelato del Mar is an absolute gem! The gelato is incredible and there are a ton of both “standard” and unique flavors to choose from. My favorite was the honeycomb, which was perfectly sweet and unique. It paired very nicely with the strawberry option. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and patient as my two kids tried multiple flavors before deciding. The shop has a charming, relaxed vibe. Perfect spot for a treat by the coast. Highly recommend and will definitely visit the next time I am in the area.”

“If you’re looking for one of the best pho spots in Newport Beach, Bamboo Bistro is definitely worth a visit. The pho broth was rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care—light enough to enjoy every spoonful, yet packed with depth and authentic taste. The fresh herbs, tender meat, and perfectly cooked noodles brought everything together beautifully.

The ambiance is just as impressive as the food. The restaurant has a modern, upscale feel with warm lighting and a cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for a casual lunch, date night, or dinner with friends. Service was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.

A great bowl of pho starts with a great broth, and Bamboo Bistro absolutely delivers. Fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and a relaxing atmosphere make this one of my favorite Vietnamese spots in Newport Beach. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic pho and a memorable dining experience.”

“I’ve been to The Bungalow plenty of times over the years, but surprisingly, I’d never actually sat down for dinner until now. I’m a member of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, and The Bungalow is incredibly involved with both the Chamber and the local community. They regularly host Chamber events, networking mixers, and seem to be involved in all kinds of philanthropic efforts throughout the year. It’s always nice supporting businesses that genuinely give back.

Whenever I’ve stopped by in the past, I’ve usually grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender’s name is Eric, and he’s exactly what you hope for in a great bartender—friendly, quick, funny, and just the right amount of dry humor. He always seems to keep the energy up.

This visit was different because a friend and I actually came for dinner. We grabbed one of the high-top tables in the bar area. It was packed, but somehow it never felt overcrowded. In fact, sharing the table gave us the chance to meet a few new people, which made the experience even more fun.

Even though the restaurant was busy, the service was outstanding. We had a few people checking on us throughout the evening, and our server, Elizabeth, was fantastic. I tend to joke around with servers and can be pretty sarcastic, and she immediately picked up on my sense of humor. She was engaging, fun, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

For dinner, I ordered the filet mignon burger. Elizabeth recommended ordering it medium, and she was absolutely right. It was one of the juiciest burgers I’ve had in a long time. Honestly, my mouth is watering just thinking about it while writing this review. It came with a generous portion of fresh, crispy shoestring fries that disappeared way too quickly.

I also ordered the Caesar salad. Normally I ask for light dressing because so many restaurants overdress their salads, but this time I decided not to say anything. When it arrived, I actually wondered if they had forgotten the dressing because it looked so light. Turns out it was perfectly dressed—fresh, balanced, and delicious. Exactly how a Caesar should be.

The portions were generous, the prices felt fair for Newport Beach, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We skipped dessert, but I couldn’t resist grabbing a couple of Jelly Belly packets on the way out. It was a fun little touch to end the meal.

Parking was easy. They offer valet, have their own lot, and there are additional public parking options nearby if you don’t mind a short walk.

Overall, this was an easy 10 out of 10 experience. Great food, outstanding service, a lively atmosphere, and a restaurant that truly feels like part of the Newport Beach community. I’ll definitely be back, and next time I plan on sitting in the main dining room and working my way through more of the menu.”

“Had breakfast here before heading to work and was pretty impressed. The bagels were fresh, soft on the inside, and had that nice chewy texture you'd expect from a good bagel shop. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese and it came out hot and tasted great. The staff was friendly even though it got a little busy while I was there. Prices seemed fair for the quality. Not every place gets the basics right, but this one definitely does. I'll probly be back next time I'm in the area and craving a quick breakfast.”

“Sejuiced in Corona Del Mar has quickly become one of my favorite stops. Everything here feels clean, fresh, and nourishing, yet the portions are so generous that one order could easily be a meal replacement. It’s the kind of place you walk into and instantly feel good about what you’re putting into your body.

I love their bowls—they’re colorful, vibrant, and packed with flavor. The nut balls are a go-to snack for me, and their side options are thoughtful and just as satisfying as the mains. The portions are so big that splitting a large is easy, which makes it perfect for sharing with the kids. What makes it even better is how much my kids enjoy it too, which is rare when it comes to healthy spots.

The people working here add to the experience. They’re friendly and welcoming, always making sure you feel taken care of. Every time I leave, I feel both full and energized, which is exactly how healthy food should be.

Sejuiced is one of those places I’m always happy to come back to—healthy, hearty, and served with genuine care.”

“I definitely recommend Gina's. We were on our way to the beach and wanted to grab a quick bite, so we ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza at Gina's takeout window. The pizza was good: fresh out of the oven and piping hot, generous portion, and very delicious cheese. The sauce and crust were fine, and the pizza hit the spot.

The service was top notch. The owner/manager was so incredibly warm, genuine, and welcoming. We're not locals but I would return just to support this lovely family-owned business.”

“Went to Bandera on my birthday which was March 15 ,2024 and I had the Filet Minion with broccoli and mash potatoes, Also a glass of refreshing white champagne. Then for dessert I had a delicious chocolate dessert, with whip cream and a leaf mint on it . Tasted like it had a little alcohol in it . Our waiter was very nice , sweet , always asking if our meal was good and how everything is going. I forgot the waiters name but he’s very tall , about 6’6 .”
