“Lots of delicious options here for everyone! We love any sandwich on the menu especially on the Dutch crunch roll! so Yummy! We also appreciate that there are salads and gluten free options for our big family! There are a lot of great sandwich shops in the Newport Beach area but The Sandwich Stop has the most options and serves very generous portions!! So glad to have it in CDM!”

I know this to be a passion of Chef Rich Mead, because I met him in January 2024 at the Wednesday Santa Monica farm market where he was shopping for his restaurant, The Farmhouse. We chatted and he suggested the next time in LA I should come for a meal at his restaurant, and we did!Imagine eating in a gorgeous garden with a fountain next to your table, every course executed with flair and great service. Also, dogs are allowed to join on the patio if you make a reservation. We tried courses across the menu. Great cocktail and wine list. We can’t wait to return!”

“Good selection of sandwich choices but the highlight of this deli is definitely their bread. The only small complaint I have is they pre slice their meat (which is not a problem) but this means they will put the sauce and veggies on the sandwich first and as a result, the meat has a tendency to slide out as you can see from my picture.”

“We came here twice in one week...once for lunch and once for breakfast, and we were thrilled with our food, service, and price.The first day we had the Jetty Burger and the Tuna Melt. One of us had the homemade chips as a side, and the other the potato salad...YUMMY! This morning we had the breakfast burrito with bacon, and the Breakfast Burger with bacon. Both were the bomb!”

This location appears to be an offshoot of a larger family-run restaurant/bakery in Fountain Valley so they carry delicious-looking pastries and pies from their mothership location ("Amarith Farmhouse - Restaurant & Pie Shoppe"), which I ogle longingly through the display glass, knowing my dietary restrictions prevent me from eating, but for those without, have at it! They make a good-tasting latte as well. A welcome addition to the Corona del Mar dining experience, providing a healthy full meal at reasonable prices, unlike a number of other local restaurants.”

“This place is a gem. I love their selection of bottled juices. There’s several options to choose from that all have amazing benefits. The After Glow is my favorite so far, it taste so good. I like their glass bottles and the fact that they reuse them & give you a 50 cent discount for bringing the bottles back. I just really wish they used nondairy milk with no added oils for the lattes!”
