“Parking is very difficult here but we were lucky to find some street parking. We had a reservation but the place was not crowded so we were quickly seated. Took forever for the server to come to take the order. We had the vermicelli bowl with chicken (my favorite) and my colleague ordered the red curry with beef. He was disappointed in the dish finding it lacking in flavor and bite. The beef was fairly chewy too. My dish was the best with tender pieces of chicken, all the veggies we expected and a good portion of vermicelli noodles. Prices are high but it is Corona Del Mar and it was a good place to stop by for lunch. Lots of take away orders going out so it is popular with the locals. But parking is rough.“

“Went to Bandera on my birthday which was March 15 ,2024 and I had the Filet Minion with broccoli and mash potatoes, Also a glass of refreshing white champagne. Then for dessert I had a delicious chocolate dessert, with whip cream and a leaf mint on it . Tasted like it had a little alcohol in it . Our waiter was very nice , sweet , always asking if our meal was good and how everything is going. I forgot the waiters name but he’s very tall , about 6’6 .“

“This was our 1st time visiting this location... it was awesome!!! Same great food, great vibe (lots of pretty people at the bar) and service was awesome!!! The manager came up to us letting us know our food would be delayed for a bit... but we didn't even notice the delay... the service is outstanding. I love the Macho salad... it is so d'lish. Great menu, distinguished wine list and a super hot place for a meal. We will go back for sure!!!“

“Celebrated my friend’s birthday here and everyone loved it. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was vibey and not too loud even with the music playing (vinyls-only is a nice touch!). The food was creative and delicious and my NA drink was excellent too. I’ll mention standout dishes even though the menu is constantly changing—my group really loved the maitake mushroom dish that was smoky and full of umami that it was surprisingly reminiscent of steak?! We guarded the hamachi crudo sauce after the fish was finished to dip their perfectly fluffy and crunchy focaccia into after. Same with the scrambled egg agnolotti, the sauce was incredible and the agnolottis themselves truly surprised us. The ricotta donuts were chef’s kiss as well. I really appreciated the warm welcome and introduction made at the beginning of our meal. I spent a long time looking for creative restaurants doing something different and interesting to celebrate my friend’s birthday in OC and DARKROOM nailed it. I also loved the creative touch with the bill trays :) What a gem!“

“We’re frequent patrons of Postino Wine Cafe on South Broadway, San Antonio, TX. Love the ambiance, food, wine & service. Last night we experienced them at their finest! Ray & Mark went above and beyond in making our daughter-in-laws 50th birthday celebration special. The 50th balloons, cake accessories, & gift card were unexpected & appreciated. This is a place to go for a special celebration! Chef Joseph prepared a variety of delicious boards & more. They truly give top notch attention to detail & service. Highly recommend!“

“Bar Tinto is more than a hidden gem. It is a rare find in Orange County. It offers some of the best Mexico City style food items I’ve had anywhere other than CDMX itself. The chef uses his free range of creativity and offers such unique and amazing ingredients in all of his dishes. He truly cares and has a passion for beautiful food. My wife and I know alot of chefs and restaurants in SoCal and this is some of the best food we can find. Chef Jonathan and his kitchen staff are all one of a kind. They shop for only the freshest ingredients and offer a variety of seasonal dishes throughout the year. The Pork Belly Taco has been a long standing menu item that literally NEVER disappoints. It is incredible. Every tostada the chef creates is amazing. And the Green Goddess dressing on their salad is worthy of bottling and drinking straight.

The wine program is also incredible. The range of wine is amazing and everyone on staff is SO knowledgeable about every wine they offer. If you aren’t sure about wine or how to pick out you can give them the simplest explanation of what wine you want and they will bring over several bottles to chose from and will give you an in depth and beautiful description of all of them before you decide what you want.

Amazing food, wine, music and vibes are all huge perks but what really sets Bar Tinto over the edge is the hospitality and kindness of all the staff. Great for date night, for a night out with friends, a spot to bring the parents too, literally any occasion. We look forward to sitting in tinto and enjoying the food and wine at least twice a week!!

“We came on a busy weekend but we found a seat at the bar and we were attended too fairly quickly. We did the recommended wine tasting and we enjoyed each glass. I like the idea of pouring it into a tube to go with the theme but I do enjoy an extra pour when it’s poured by hand to be honest lol but it was a great vibe over all I would highly recommend stopping by for a tasting if you are in the area. Very affordable. Parking can be terrible but it’s worth supporting local businesses I say.“

Made a reservation on Opentable and when we arrived at 5pm there was already a line forming for the happy hour section. We ordered the $16 flatbread and sips: pesto chicken flatbread paired with generous size cosmo martini. Also ordered from the $8 small plates special: goat cheese and 3 piece steak lettuce wraps. Service was fast and friendly, food served hot and generous in portion for happy hour. There used to be live piano entertainment - there wasn’t on the night we went. They were showing baseball playoffs that time. We will definitely return when we go to a show again!“

“This is my favorite restaurant! I loved it back when it was on Bristol, but I have been back to the new Red Hill location twice now and it is even more of a special dining experience. Massimo has come out to explain the history of the wine and food and the sources of his ingredients. He tells wonderful stories with a great sense of humor, and his daughter who helps serve is also very knowledgeable and delightful. I feel transported and hosted in a way I have never experienced in a restaurant. The food is amazing. The fresh handmade pasta melts in your mouth. “My buddies and I do a “Bros Night” every couple of weeks, and we’re always looking for a new local spot to check out. This time we cruised over to Balboa Island in a friend’s golf cart from Corona del Mar, took advantage of the ridiculously convenient golf cart parking, and headed to Snipe Island.

The restaurant has a great vibe. I love the open-air feel with the large windows and bar seating facing the street. It’s a fun place to sit, relax, people-watch, and enjoy everything that makes Balboa Island special.

The food was good. I had an ahi salad that was fresh and tasty, and one of my friends ordered a pizza that looked incredible. I was doing keto that day, so unfortunately I didn’t get a slice, but if it tasted half as good as it looked, I’m ordering it next time.

The real highlight of the night was our server, Taylor. Honestly, she was incredible. The place was busy, and it seemed like she was handling just about everything, but somehow she never missed a beat. We always had what we needed, our drinks stayed full, and she made us feel like we were her only table. Great service can make or break an experience, and Taylor absolutely crushed it.

The prices felt fair, the atmosphere was fun, and overall we had a great evening. If I had one piece of constructive feedback, I’d say the restroom could use a little attention and maybe a refresh. But as someone who owns a business, I know there are always a hundred things competing for your attention.

At the end of the day, I have a soft spot for local businesses that are out there working hard and serving the community. Snipe Island delivered a fun night with friends, great service, and a great Balboa Island atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.“

During this visit we had their ceviche chips , BBQ bacon burger, sipping ice cold beer while
enjoying the phenomenal view .

I suggest pack light no need to haul out side food to the beach. Come relax entrust your belly to delicious made to order meals .“
