“We’re frequent patrons of Postino Wine Cafe on South Broadway, San Antonio, TX. Love the ambiance, food, wine & service. Last night we experienced them at their finest! Ray & Mark went above and beyond in making our daughter-in-laws 50th birthday celebration special. The 50th balloons, cake accessories, & gift card were unexpected & appreciated. This is a place to go for a special celebration! Chef Joseph prepared a variety of delicious boards & more. They truly give top notch attention to detail & service. Highly recommend!“

“Today, I made a reservation and went to Cozy Pine, a speakeasy hidden inside Bacchus Bar and Bistro in Irvine.
The front looked like any ordinary bar, but when you gently push open the bookshelf in the back, a cozy cabin-like space reveals itself. You’d never imagine a place like this existed from the outside.

​The interior truly made me feel like I was visiting a mountain cabin—complete with pinecones, cotton-made clouds, and wooden tables and chairs. Up on the ceiling, there were even birds and wolves wearing hats.

​For drinks, I ordered a cocktail called Camp Anawanna. They torched a marshmallow right on top of the cup, infusing the drink with a wonderful smoky aroma.
Even though I only had one glass, I already felt a bit tipsy.
For food, we had the Fish & Chips, Hanger Steak Skewers, and Tacos. Every single dish was delicious.
The French fries, in particular, were perfectly seasoned and incredibly tasty. The Shrimp and Carnitas tacos were excellent as well.

“Our annual anniversary dinner never disappoints. The food is always good and hot. This time I had the ribeye with light Cajun seasoning and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had there. They really do make sure you are fully happy with the way Your steak is cooked. They aim to please. Our server Ben was amazing and the manager Bill made sure we were satisfied with everything. From the wedge salad, creamed spinach,garlic mashed, baked potato, steaks and our desserts, we were 100% satisfied. Looking forward to our next celebration 👍🏼“

“Nice atmosphere, kind staffs and excellent foods. Steak is recommended especially chimichurri sauce was really good. Salmon with miso was also good. Menu is attached because it is hard to find the menu from their homepage.

In addition, for dining people, parking can be validated through their own parking lot.“

“Amazing Thai food and excellent service! We ordered the Tom Yum Chicken, Thai-style Mushroom Fried Rice, and Mango Sticky Rice, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Tom Yum was flavorful with the perfect balance of spicy and sour, the fried rice was fragrant and well-seasoned, and the mango sticky rice was fresh, sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. “We came on a busy weekend but we found a seat at the bar and we were attended too fairly quickly. We did the recommended wine tasting and we enjoyed each glass. I like the idea of pouring it into a tube to go with the theme but I do enjoy an extra pour when it’s poured by hand to be honest lol but it was a great vibe over all I would highly recommend stopping by for a tasting if you are in the area. Very affordable. Parking can be terrible but it’s worth supporting local businesses I say.“

“My fiance and I were in the area for my nephew's wedding. On Sunday morning, we looked for a breakfast location. We prefer the small local restaurants as opposed to the chains. Up popped this Laguna Cafe, close by where we were staying. From the time we entered the door, it was obvious we picked the right spot! it was cozy, homey, friendly and downright delicious. The clientele were all laughing, enjoying the morning and the atmosphere. We got served by Monja, the proprietor, who wore a shirt with our favorite scripture, John 3:16. As we bowed our heads to pray, she gently joined us in prayer. What a blessing. Needless to say, we will go back when in the area. Highly recommend the food too! “This is my favorite restaurant! I loved it back when it was on Bristol, but I have been back to the new Red Hill location twice now and it is even more of a special dining experience. Massimo has come out to explain the history of the wine and food and the sources of his ingredients. He tells wonderful stories with a great sense of humor, and his daughter who helps serve is also very knowledgeable and delightful. I feel transported and hosted in a way I have never experienced in a restaurant. The food is amazing. The fresh handmade pasta melts in your mouth. We have eaten every dessert and they are all spectacular. Every wine and appetizer we have tried has been extraordinary. I couldn't recommend this place more.“

“A small izakaya in the OC area that's well worth a visit. The food was excellent and stood out compared to some of the more well-known izakayas nearby. With warm hospitality and a well-executed menu of classic izakaya dishes. It’s a place you really can't go wrong with.“

The appetizers were delightful, we had the cauliflower, the shishito peppers, the fries and the snap peas. For entrees we had the atlantic salmon, the rainbow trout and the steak chili. The sauces were amazing. The salmon was so small. That was my only complaint.“

I love this place due to the friendly atmosphere the staff provides and the quality of the food and beverages.“

The front hostess or lady who sat us definite do NOT have any courtesy with unfriendly attitude & lacking any personality & rude. There's 4 of us on our birthday celebration & only gave us 3menu. I corrected with a request for 4 but, gave me an attitude of ‘I know, I'll get you another one. But, never return & no gesture of recognition to handle the situation. Unpleasantly rude & in that case, we will not return with that kind of attitude.“

“Great happy hour and good food. We went here while staying at the hotel for our Disney trip and it ended up being our groups rest spot after a long day. If you're going to get a specialty cocktail, the Smoky Sparrow was really smooth and the aromatics were wonderful. The server/bartender Zaira was really attentive and kind to our group with toddlers.“

“My buddies and I do a “Bros Night” every couple of weeks, and we’re always looking for a new local spot to check out. This time we cruised over to Balboa Island in a friend’s golf cart from Corona del Mar, took advantage of the ridiculously convenient golf cart parking, and headed to Snipe Island.

The restaurant has a great vibe. I love the open-air feel with the large windows and bar seating facing the street. It’s a fun place to sit, relax, people-watch, and enjoy everything that makes Balboa Island special.

The food was good. I had an ahi salad that was fresh and tasty, and one of my friends ordered a pizza that looked incredible. I was doing keto that day, so unfortunately I didn’t get a slice, but if it tasted half as good as it looked, I’m ordering it next time.

The real highlight of the night was our server, Taylor. Honestly, she was incredible. The place was busy, and it seemed like she was handling just about everything, but somehow she never missed a beat. We always had what we needed, our drinks stayed full, and she made us feel like we were her only table. Great service can make or break an experience, and Taylor absolutely crushed it.

The prices felt fair, the atmosphere was fun, and overall we had a great evening. If I had one piece of constructive feedback, I’d say the restroom could use a little attention and maybe a refresh. But as someone who owns a business, I know there are always a hundred things competing for your attention.

At the end of the day, I have a soft spot for local businesses that are out there working hard and serving the community. Snipe Island delivered a fun night with friends, great service, and a great Balboa Island atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I sometimes stop by this bar after work — either to grab a drink or have dinner after picking up groceries. Great atmosphere, wide selection of drinks, and it’s very convenient being right inside the same building. Always a nice spot to relax for a bit.“
