“We’re frequent patrons of Postino Wine Cafe on South Broadway, San Antonio, TX. Love the ambiance, food, wine & service. Last night we experienced them at their finest! Ray & Mark went above and beyond in making our daughter-in-laws 50th birthday celebration special. The 50th balloons, cake accessories, & gift card were unexpected & appreciated. This is a place to go for a special celebration! Chef Joseph prepared a variety of delicious boards & more. They truly give top notch attention to detail & service. Highly recommend!“

“Justin is an AMAZING server! We can to McClains with a large group of friends. We were excited to try out the Irvine location, after visiting the Laguna location for years. “For a hotel restaurant and bar. It's done very well. Moving on.

The staff is extremely nice and professional. The options are great for quick bites, lunch or dinner.

The food tastes fresh. The drinks are great.

Upon walking up to the bar area I was greeted immediately. Staff immediately gave me a menu. And mentioned a special that day. They also let me know that there was a happy hour. Happy hour!? Can't go wrong there can we lol.

I've had the club sandwich, wings and burger.

Club sandwich. Pretty much your average club sandwich. However the ingredients are fresh. Yes it's processed turkey slices. But that's ok. They're good quality ones at that. And they don't skimp. It was a very large well proportioned sandwich.

Wings. Alright these are the star of the show.
Simple but done right. You know when you just want something good? And everywhere just over does it trying to be different? Not these. Simple hot wings cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

Burger.
Ok this is actually insanely good with the bacon.
And their fries are nice and crispy tasty freshness.

So would I recommend this place? Most definitely.
And if you're staying here. No need to go off site for food. The food here is legit.

Celebrated a birthday at Darkroom and honestly it was one of the most distinctive dining experiences we’ve had in Orange County.

The creativity, flavors, and energy of the place feel completely different from anything else in the OC.

I also love they offer a variety of NA options and mocktails. If they keep pushing at this level, a Michelin nomination would not surprise me at all.“

“We came on a busy weekend but we found a seat at the bar and we were attended too fairly quickly. We did the recommended wine tasting and we enjoyed each glass. I like the idea of pouring it into a tube to go with the theme but I do enjoy an extra pour when it’s poured by hand to be honest lol but it was a great vibe over all I would highly recommend stopping by for a tasting if you are in the area. Very affordable. Parking can be terrible but it’s worth supporting local businesses I say.“

“Cozy little restaurant by night, coffee shop by day. We had the oysters, pork belly tacos, steak frites, and a few glasses of orange wine—all excellent and service was great. A little funny to walk in and check in at the counter where you’d normally order an espresso, but I appreciate what they are doing. “This is my favorite restaurant! I loved it back when it was on Bristol, but I have been back to the new Red Hill location twice now and it is even more of a special dining experience. Massimo has come out to explain the history of the wine and food and the sources of his ingredients. He tells wonderful stories with a great sense of humor, and his daughter who helps serve is also very knowledgeable and delightful. I feel transported and hosted in a way I have never experienced in a restaurant. The food is amazing. The fresh handmade pasta melts in your mouth. “Tremendous meal, first timers. Although they had a multi course Valentines menu that evening, we wanted to explore more of the menu. Three of us, one being my 83 year old mother-in-law, had 5 appetizers and salad, and three entrees. Hit it out of the park on everything. We had the charred cabbage, broiled marinated carrots, short rib chili(killer), beet and feta cheese salad, and house made olive oil bread and whipped butter. Every dish great attention to detail, delicious and varied saucing. We could have stopped there, but we continued on to the trout, hangar steak, and 12 oz pork chop. The sauce on that baby was tremendous, and I’m currently finishing the left overs in my hotel room for breakfast covered in that remarkable sauce. Service was spot on, timing was appropriately spaced out. Definitely put Verde on your map.“

Good selection of drinks, cocktails, and draft beer. Tons of local selection as well. Our server was excellent throughout the whole meal.

If you're going to get a specialty cocktail, the Smoky Sparrow was really smooth and the aromatics were wonderful.
