Absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing, and every dish we tried was packed with flavor. I also really liked the atmosphere, it felt modern, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed.
The hidden speakeasy concept is such a fun and unique touch. It makes the experience feel much more memorable than just going out for dinner.

Such a fun experience. My friends and I dined in the Cozy Pine, which is a speakeasy (21+) within the Bacchus restaurant. It is charming and whimsical, with pine benches and walls, a coo-coo clock, and classic country music - Pacific Northwest vibes. The food was good too with plenty of options and the drinks were unique with quirky names. We also shared the lava cake with berries which was yummy. Jean the hostess there was really wonderful. I'll definitely be back!
Today, I made a reservation and went to Cozy Pine, a speakeasy hidden inside Bacchus Bar and Bistro in Irvine.
The front looked like any ordinary bar, but when you gently push open the bookshelf in the back, a cozy cabin-like space reveals itself. You’d never imagine a place like this existed from the outside.

Bacchus Bar and Bistro's speakeasy, Cozy Pine, offers a small, outdoorsy atmosphere with a cozy feel. The space has a very outdoorsy vibe, with a feel similar to being around a campfire. The menu features delicious options such as fried goat cheese balls, blue crab dip, and deviled eggs, with the shishito peppers being slightly oily. They also serve cocktails and a refreshing lemonade mocktail. The service is excellent, with the bartenders and owner providing great hospitality. Visitors can enjoy happy hour with some food options in this cute little spot. There is a small outdoor seating area that is dog friendly, shaded by palms and a fountain, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The atmosphere makes it a fun experience for drinks and bites, especially after dinner or during brunch. However, the air fan may cause food smells to linger on clothing. This cozy spot is ideal for small groups of up to four people.
