“I would argue that this is one of the best coffee shops in California.I stopped in for a bite to eat and then I left with a loaf of bread. Let me tell you, this place just became my next addiction.The jam and butter biscuit was from heaven itself. “We really enjoyed the service by Taylor. We picked a wine flight to sample that was too fruity and not in our desired palette, Taylor noticed and brought us something drier and more of our liking. We found some wines we really liked and ordered some glasses of wine after our wine flight. Would recommend for service and atmosphere. A fun date spot for before or after dinner. This is my second visit here.“
“Was traveling for business and had Sunday free so I went to Laguna to watch sunset from Heisler park. Saw this little gem on the corner and decided to pop in after. Rich was fantastic! It was just us for most of the evening so since it was quiet we were able to chat and he offered so many wonderful recommendations. I had the rose and the Sauvignon blanc and both were fantastic. Will definitely be back!!“
“Beautiful Italian menu with lots of variety. No beach view but still close to the shore. Service was really nice... polite, engaging, attentive. We had the meatball sandwich, three pizzas, the bread, chicken parmesan and the ravioli. Everyone enjoyed their meals, although there was agreement that the food was just slightly under seasoned. Great spot for a quick lunch. The favorite was the chicken parmesan.“
“This was our first time back since the new owners took over. We were there for OC restaurant Week. We had the set menu, but there were many other items that looked good enough for a second visit. Our server was helpful and efficient. We added the wine paring with our meal. All of the wines were delicious. The timing of the wines with the meal could have been better coordinated, but that is a minor note. Will definitely be back to try some of the Greek options on the menu.“
“Just went here for the first time last weekend. The atmosphere was amazing. We got to sit on the couch which was comfy and spacious. The food was good, especially the bruschetta! There are about 12 different types to get. The iced tea was one of the best I have had, which sounds like an odd thing to say but when you try it you'll understand why. The Happy Hour prices are unmatched, best I have ever seen. Sadly couldn't partake this time but I will absolutely will be coming back soon.“

“Stop by this place after brunch around the corner and decided to do the blind test of three different wines ..I'm far from an expert or anything but we did enjoyed and had fun trying to guess what our wines were. If you guess it right, you get it free!! lol Also ordered a charcuterie board Sat at the patio. Wanted to go to the upper level but they had a private party going on. It sounded fun! Hey, so if you're having some sort of private event, maybe you should consider the idea of looking up this place. Service was attentive. We had our dog with us and they were nice enough to let us bring her to the patio area with us and enjoy the sunny weather.“

“I don't know why there isn't a long line out in front of this restaurant every night. It is a small restaurant in a location that is slightly off the restaurant beaten path. But it is Onotria, the same owner and chef as the previous iteration of Onotria that has been one of the most highly regarded restaurants in Orange County - and definitely on of the best Italian restaurants in the county for many years. The original Onotria took a hiatus for a few years but is back now in its new location with excellent food - perhaps now a little more innovative and modern. The service also excellent with a little more warmth and attentiveness thrown in, perhaps a consequence of the small venue. There were four of us, we all sampled each other's food and all agreed that it was outstanding as was the service. It's great to have Onotria back. It's definitely one of the "must try " Italian restaurants in The OC.“
“So after reading about this Hillstone copycat we finally decided to try it. Houston’s which is one of the Hillstone brands has changed their signature Tortilla Soup recipe and not liking the new version I decided to try the Coastal Kitchen version. I rate it a 9.5 copy of the original from Houston’s. It needed a little more cheese but was excellent in every other aspect and it alone will bring me back. The starter salad with the honey mustard dressing was on point and actually better than Houston’s. Our guests had the chowder which in every way resembled the Houston’s version. Their French Dip was enjoyed by our other guest and the fries were perfect. My wife’s blackened grouper sandwich was merely ok and quite frankly since most of the menu is an excellent Hillstone knockoff then I would suggest recreating the Gulfstream Gulf Coast Style Fish Sandwich. The only negative menu item we sampled was the Chicken BLT. It was not awful but the chicken was overcooked as was the bacon and it doesn’t even come close to competing with the Ding’s Crispy Chicken Sandwich at the Hillstone locations. I’m all for innovation and signature changes but if you’re going to do that then maintain the same high quality and taste standard for all the menu items. All of us agreed we will be back to try the rest of the menu for lunch and dinner. Service was excellent and the atmosphere although a little acoustically challenging was comfortable and inviting. I came close to rating this establishment five stars but they just fall a little short of that mark. Still well worth a visit and I hope to revise my rating in the future. Look out Hillstone you have a worthy challenger and that’s high praise in itself.“
“Got the Tokyo Mazeman regular everything (garlic, etc) and it was AMAZING. Glad they gave rice for the end because I wanted to soak up the leftover sauce and chives. Also, adding their house vinegar really makes the mazeman and cuts into the oils of the sauce - highly recommend. “This is the coolest place on the lake. Great wine, great view, great cheese, great service! We came here with my mom who was visiting from out of town and had never experienced anything like it. It was great to be able to try so many different wines with their card system. The owner/ managers were so helpful and friendly. They allow dogs on the patio and have blankets to use when the sun goes dog and it gets cold. We will for sure be brining back any visitors.“
“We made reservations for Dublin4 and it seemed pretty wild so they walked next door and sat up at the high top at Wineworks. Such a better atmosphere. Both restaurants share the same kitchen and restrooms. And there’s a lot of similarities between the menus but this has the better options.I always complain that OC doesn’t have great food but this place knows the game. And the wine menu is excellent. I even had a Pinot Noir from Baden, Germany. All dishes were excellent and the service was even better. Only complaint is the parking is terrible so good luck, maybe the lot is bigger in the back.“
“Enjoyed Foretti's... solid Italian with nightly specials. Consistent and very good. Have been there many times and will continue to go back. Pasta's are good and homemade... full bar which is nice. Picture is of the Braised Short Rib Pappardelle... which was delicious! The pizza's are from a real wood burning pizza oven. The service is good... very attentive! The one lacking thing for 4 stars is the wine list... we brought our own... but ordered a second bottle and they had a limited selection.“

The smell of wood-fired pizza immediately set my mind on pizza and wine. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. Everyone in our party raved about the food they ordered. Our server was delightful, fun, and knowledgable and she managed our party perfectly. I look forward to returning.“
