“If you're looking for a local fun place to release your creative juices with family, friends or coworkers this is your place! Karen is the owner. She is an artist, wine maker and instructor! This place is clean, adorable and so accommodating! I had a group of about 10+ ladies come for a mixer and this space was perfect for us! It can absolutely accommodate more than 10. They truly go above and beyond service. Highly highly recommend!“
“We were celebrating my birthday with friends. We always request a particular booth, but for some reason we did not get it this time. I was disappointed, but they did give us another booth which was fine. As always food was excellent, and Hamilton provided excellent service. They are so nice to have a birthday greeting on the table and one of their delicious desserts at the end of the meal.“
“We always have a great dining experience each time we are at this restaurant. It's my go to place whether it's for casual or business meetings. I'd like to commend the excellent service that we always receive when we're there, especially Richard. The girls at the reception could use some smile though ☺️“
“I don't know why there isn't a long line out in front of this restaurant every night. It is a small restaurant in a location that is slightly off the restaurant beaten path. But it is Onotria, the same owner and chef as the previous iteration of Onotria that has been one of the most highly regarded restaurants in Orange County - and definitely on of the best Italian restaurants in the county for many years. The original Onotria took a hiatus for a few years but is back now in its new location with excellent food - perhaps now a little more innovative and modern. The service also excellent with a little more warmth and attentiveness thrown in, perhaps a consequence of the small venue. There were four of us, we all sampled each other's food and all agreed that it was outstanding as was the service. It's great to have Onotria back. It's definitely one of the "must try " Italian restaurants in The OC.“
“Got the Tokyo Mazeman regular everything (garlic, etc) and it was AMAZING. Glad they gave rice for the end because I wanted to soak up the leftover sauce and chives. Also, adding their house vinegar really makes the mazeman and cuts into the oils of the sauce - highly recommend. The regular Tokyo version has a small kick, so I also had their draft Asahi to make the experience just right.Vegetarian options: There's a separate section for vegetarian and vegan optionsParking: Parking is easy in the plaza“
“One of the best places in the area for drinks. Mix that with a lo-fi DJ on certain days + an animistic ambiance and you have a potent concoction for a sultry evening. Speaking concoctions, “An Incan Ruin” is a veritable elixir of mysticism x flavor. 10/10 would recommend.“
“We mainly came for there coffee drinks to go but it was definitely really busy in here! Based on Yelp, it seems like their sandwiches are pretty popular here but I actually didn't really see many people order sandwiches. It's a bit of a tight seating besides the outdoor bench that was pretty spacious, but the vibes here were pretty nice. I ordered this toffee hazelnut latte and it was pretty decent! Although it was a lot sweeter than I liked it to be, so the overall drink was okay haha. The parking lot is shared with many other stores, so the parking situation can be tricky, depending how busy it gets.“
“I applaud Linda for standing up for herself in the recent post. The review that was based solely on an almost 5 year Restaurant Impossible episode should not be a basis to rate an establishment!!! I'm sure my review will be removed. Hopefully Google will also remove that review as well!! Best of luck Linda and enjoy your time with family, you deserve it!!!“
“Stopped in here because I wanted a glass of wine that a neighboring restaurant did not have. There were three people behind the bar. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and liked the glass of wine. They could not have been nicer than what they were to me.“
“This place is great for a chill coffee and conversation. Sharing small bites and conversation. Have a wine and enjoy the calmness of the place, water fountain and trees. I really don’t get people leaving a bad review because they couldn’t use this like a Starbucks, because there’s no wifi or outlets! They are completely missing the point and this places vibe. Go find a Starbucks if that’s what you need. This is a place to slow down and enjoy the scene.“
“Small and quaint place that has a wonderful staff and selection of wines. The service was fantastic. I usually will not give 5 stars for a mandatory service charge. I honestly like tipping more if service is good (and we did), and always find the mandatory fee strange and some places like to hide it (they did not). Either raise prices and pay a living wage, or follow the state tipping wage and let us tip your fantastic staff! I know it’s a tough choice to make and I am sure you all made yours with calculated minds. Anyway, cute place either way!Recommend the cheese board for sure, and this is a cool place for a date. Parking in back (limited) makes it easily accessible. It is pricey but nothing shocking.“
“Our first time at Leatherby's before Lion King. We thought enjoyed dinner. I had the apple goat cheese salad for my started, unusual & very tasty. For my entree I had branzino, delicious. My friend had the Bay Scallops which she loved. She also had the key lime tart for dessert. The service was excellent & the environment is nicely attired. We will return.“
“This is a 1 star Michelin restaurant located in South Coast Plaza. We came here for afternoon tea, which comes with 7 savory items, 8 sweet items, and a choice of a tea. Cost is $115 plus 23% service charge and $5 order fee.The presentation of the tower for the afternoon tea items was beautiful! My favorites were the beet-cured salmon, Maine lobster eclair, and the chicken barquette. These were so flavorful! The Persian cucumber and radish & watercress were just ok - it had too much cream cheese/butter. The caviar deviled egg was solid, but wasn’t astounding. My least favorite was the truffle brie since I personally don’t like brie. The chocolate desserts were my fave! The other desserts tasted pretty standard. I tried the Phoenix Jasmine Pearls tea. I was expecting a stronger chestnut taste, but it just tasted like regular green tea. Also got the Yves Saint Laurent cocktail, which was sweet and tasty.“
“The green salad, enhanced with a delightful peanut flavor, is crowned with succulent savory duck. While Caesar salad might seem ordinary, this version elevates it with the right balance of dressing and the satisfying crunch of croutons. It’s a familiar classic with a delightful twist. The pizzas here are a true delight. Each slice bursts with flavor, and there’s no overwhelming heaviness. Whether you prefer classic toppings or adventurous combinations, these pizzas won’t disappoint.“
“James was great to work with for a private party of 16 on the patio. We did a wine and olive oil tasting, along with the vege salad and an assortment of flatbread pizzas to eat. Everything was ordered in advance and delicious. We had good service from James and his helper. This location is not near where I live, but I'd go back again, next time I'm in the area. Thank you, James.“
