Celebrated a birthday at Darkroom and honestly it was one of the most distinctive dining experiences we’ve had in Orange County.

The creativity, flavors, and energy of the place feel completely different from anything else in the OC.

I also love they offer a variety of NA options and mocktails. If they keep pushing at this level, a Michelin nomination would not surprise me at all.“

We had the ravioli di mamma Pina and the pappardelle, Kobe Bryant's favorite dish. I will definitely come back even though it's quite a drive for me. Plenty of parking out front. The dessert was also a hit with us.“

“I really only drink cold coffee drinks. I tried an amazing Cold Brew coffee with Vikram, their cold brew specialist, at Avatar Coffee Roasters and was absolutely blown away. The texture was unbelievably creamy. The best way I can describe the experience was like enjoying a coffee flavored pastry without the pastry (extra calories). Last time I buy a Starbucks cold coffee drink! I highly recommend the experience.“

Ray & Mark went above and beyond in making our daughter-in-laws 50th birthday celebration special. The 50th balloons, cake accessories, & gift card were unexpected & appreciated. This is a place to go for a special celebration! Chef Joseph prepared a variety of delicious boards & more. They truly give top notch attention to detail & service. Highly recommend!“

My husband ordered the Wilson Burger, I ordered the Bison Bolognese pasta, and our daughter had the Mac and cheese. We sat outside near the pool area, it was chilly but they provided heaters which was absolutely a delight and we enjoyed ourselves.“

“We came on a busy weekend but we found a seat at the bar and we were attended too fairly quickly. We did the recommended wine tasting and we enjoyed each glass. I like the idea of pouring it into a tube to go with the theme but I do enjoy an extra pour when it’s poured by hand to be honest lol but it was a great vibe over all I would highly recommend stopping by for a tasting if you are in the area. Very affordable. Parking can be terrible but it’s worth supporting local businesses I say.“

A little funny to walk in and check in at the counter where you’d normally order an espresso, but I appreciate what they are doing. Can order food at the bar to go or eat seated with full service. Menu is very limited but there are adult and kid favorites. Restaurant is quite a distance from parking lot, and restaurant does not validate parking.“

“This is my favorite restaurant! I loved it back when it was on Bristol, but I have been back to the new Red Hill location twice now and it is even more of a special dining experience. Massimo has come out to explain the history of the wine and food and the sources of his ingredients. He tells wonderful stories with a great sense of humor, and his daughter who helps serve is also very knowledgeable and delightful. I feel transported and hosted in a way I have never experienced in a restaurant. The food is amazing. The fresh handmade pasta melts in your mouth. “Tremendous meal, first timers. Although they had a multi course Valentines menu that evening, we wanted to explore more of the menu. Three of us, one being my 83 year old mother-in-law, had 5 appetizers and salad, and three entrees. Hit it out of the park on everything. We had the charred cabbage, broiled marinated carrots, short rib chili(killer), beet and feta cheese salad, and house made olive oil bread and whipped butter. Every dish great attention to detail, delicious and varied saucing. We could have stopped there, but we continued on to the trout, hangar steak, and 12 oz pork chop. The sauce on that baby was tremendous, and I’m currently finishing the left overs in my hotel room for breakfast covered in that remarkable sauce. Service was spot on, timing was appropriately spaced out. Definitely put Verde on your map.“

“The girlfriend and I just moved here and checked this place out as it was close to home and had great reviews.

I had the smash burger and she had the chicken sandwich; both were delicious and the fact that they offer sweet potato fries is a plus. Extra points for the ranch, which was some of the best I’ve had and I never have ranch with anything.

Bartender didn’t have what I wanted but suggested an alternative and we both liked it.

I took a risk trying a new dish and was handsomely rewarded. A really nice place and I was impressed with the whole experience. Everything was sharp and fresh. The noodles were cold and crisp and the sauce was really nice. Just a very good experience.“

We ordered our food at the window, and found a table to sit at. The food came out quickly, hot and crispy. It was SO good! The steak tacos were awesome and packed with protein. The BLTA had thick and plentiful bacon. The burgers were perfectly cooked and the fries were perfect!“
