“To John Hansen, My wife and I would like to thank you for such a lovely evening. Chez Bacchus represents the “True Expression of a Dining Experience”. Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. Their expertise is why we had an amazing and delicious dinner.“
“What a hidden gem! Ample parking and a beautiful space. Who would've known there's a great spot in this business area? Service was awesome! And everyone was very friendlThe drink menu was so diverse and they even have large batch cocktails to go. The food menu has something for everyone. I liked that there was breakfast and pastries along with lunch items. We got two bloody Mary's, a cold brew, salad, soup, burger and sandwich. Which came out to about $80ish before tips. Everything was so good! I want to go back to try more.“
“First time here! Dropped in for a beverage on a beautiful afternoon with a friend. The staff were super chill and they offer tons of unique flavors of ciders - all gluten free! I tried the watermelon mint one (can't remember the name) and it was light and refreshing. The spot has varied types of seating for all the moods and tons of board games. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!“
“They now do a themed five course dinner once a month. Option to have a wine pairing with each course. One seating per night for 2-3 nights. Must reserve in advance, sells out. We went to the “tomato” dinner. High quality, imaginative dishes with good wine pairings. The chef came out and discussed all five courses in detail and a “wine guy” did the same for each wine pairing, which enhanced the experience. Option to buy bottles of the reasonably priced wines ($20-30 per bottle) after. Lasted about 2.5 hours. Indoor and outdoor seating available.“
“Gathered some friends here for a birthday. The team had the space ready, our pre-orders ready to go, and seamlessly handled additional orders and individual tabs. Our server Laura was an absolute gem and made sure we were fully stocked all evening. Can’t recommend it highly enough.“
“I finally went with friends to dine in and enjoy a cheese board, shareable bites and beverages at The Vintage. It was a fantastic experience! At no point did we feel rushed. Super knowledgeable staff with helpful recommendations. Good music, and a nice community vibe.“
“One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Long Beach.Every bite takes me back to Italy. ?Carbonara and Romana Pizza it’s my favorite.Great service and Great staff. Expect to wait if you’re having dining in on a weekend.Worth the wait!“
“Really good Mediterranean spot, great for date nights or a relaxing afternoon.Food was impressive but not the best I've had. I ordered the Sultan. Lamb came as ordered but the shrimp was dry. The rice had flavor and the spicy hummus was on point. The bread was lacking but it worked out ok. Salad was salad.Staff was nice enough, my waitress was great. The location is small but cozy. I would visit again.“
“My friend and I stopped here before the movie right next-door. We tried their orange and rosé wines. I liked the orange, my friend didn't care for it. The manager who is working was really nice and it's a perfect spot if you get to the movie a little bit early. They have new Parklet so there's plenty of seating and people watching.“
“This is a great place to enjoy great food and drink with friends. It's a very chill atmosphere, you can dine in or outdoors. The food was very tasty. The Cobb salad was huge. Meatballs were so yummy, well seasoned, pretty big, loved the artichoke dip, so frikken good. The portion sizes are decent.Wine selection is huge, plenty of great choices. Staff attentive, friendly, and competent, they know their wines, and thoroughly explain the wines you order. And yes,you can buy bottles of wine to go.If you have gluten intolerance/ allergies, their pizzas are made with cauliflower crust, this place is for you.I tried the bacon ,wrapped dates, initially I thought sounds weird/ questionable, omg! The best appetizer ever,a must try. There are 2 decent sized, clean, bathrooms. They have live music on Sundays.Only downside ,parking is terrible in this general area. It's just crowded on the streets, and there are other shops, great places to eat nearby.“
“I've been reading a lot lately about finding a "third place". A place outside of work and home where you can relax, socialize, build your community. Wine on 2nd fits the bill. The owners and the staff are so welcoming, as are the other guests. The vibe is perfect. Chill, calm. I got the baked brie and it was absolutely delicious! Is one of my favorite dishes anyway and when it's done right, chef's kiss. I paired it with a sparkling wine and it was exactly what I needed.I'm already in love with this place, parking is easy, the location is great. Come and go grab a glass of wine and then go enjoy the Christmas lights or come here after. It's easy to get to, incredible ambiance. I can see why it won best wine bar last year. I expect it will do it again this year.Vegetarian options: I'm a vegetarian and a lot of the dishes are vegetarian. As in made to have a full set of flavors, not just a garden salad.“
“Great local place that has a cute store next door with a variety of beer/wine choices and some upscale snacks.Food, drinks and vibe of the bar are always amazing. Every one always seems to be having a good time whenever I’m there. The staff is super nice and helpful with any questions I have had.“
“5 stars all around! Drove all the way from Orange County to try this place and it did not disappoint!!We had a reservation for 7:30 PM and were seated within five minutes. The atmosphere was a vibe, very busy, and fun.We ordered:Margarita pizza (insanely amazing highly recommend)Caesar salad (delicious)Zucchini flowers (very yummy and unique)Cacio e pepe (also great! But would’ve skipped this one and just gotten the second pizza)Nutella dessert (also also very delicious. However, the donuts were a little bit harder, I would’ve liked it to have been a little softer. The hazelnut gelato was exquisite.)All in all excellent food, and the pizza was very Italian! Highly recommend!!“

“The staff was friendly and very attentive. I dined with a party of 6 and everyone seemed to enjoy the food and the portions were generous . We shared the mezza appetizer which was delicious and definitely enough for the 6 of us. I ordered a chicken bowl which was tasty but the chicken kabob was overcooked.“
“We eat here a couple times a month, can’t go wrong. Every pie comes out perfectly. it’s fast, and ALWAYS good. Dozens of pizzas and everyone SINGLE one was perfectly cooked and topped. I can’t stress how impressive that is for a smallish craft pizza place. I really like the honey pepperoni pizza, Great spin on a classic Za. Keep it up thunderbolt!!“
“Going to Sala for coffee and breakfast is a delight I look forward to. This place is hip; the music and decor are on point, but not in a pretentious way. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. If its coffee, wine, or good food, they got you covered here. It really is my local salita ✨“
“Rosemallows is definitely a vibe and I'm so happy I came across it!While hubby and I were wrapping up an event, we wanted to grab a drink. We came across Rosemallows in Long Beach. The name really intrigued me and the photos on their website and on Yelp lured us in. While walking up to enter, we heard music bumping and people dancing. I was a bit confused because it honestly was giving me club vibes. But we walked in and people were just living their best lives dancing along to the best of the music. I was for it! Hubby and I made our way to the bar and parked ourselves there. They had drink specials going on so I started off with a basic tequila pineapple. After I chugged that down, I decided to get fancy with it. I ordered a Melona Colada. Let me tell you, it was soooooo delicious!! It was just perfection in a glass.Rosemallows is a restaurant, however, on Sunday evenings they have Sunday Sessions. No food is served during this time and it's just good music playing, good drinks being sipped, and just good vibes flowing around. I was all for it. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.Hubby and I are already planning our next visit.“
“Super adorable spot! One of the chill wine bars filled with locals and different locals playing music~ Noah the wine-tender was amazing and gave amazing recs and found me my new favorite wine! Older crowd but it's seal beach there's also a wine club membership for $50! Overall I love this place and will be back for more wine and they have some board games to play with a friend or date“
“This adorable wine bar has a relaxed atmosphere with a community feel. There is local art for purchase lining the walls and cute tables inside and out. The menu has a couple small sides that pair nicely with their wine. Staff is ready for recommendations and if you're lucky someone might hop on the piano and play a tune. I will absolutely be back.Wheelchair accessibility: This shop is accessible but almost all the seating is high tables.“
“Nice neighborhood wine shop/bar with occasional pop up food vendors. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Visited before to pick-up bottles of wine. came last week for a Korean food pop-up. Had a nice glass of vermouth to go with the Korean food. Will definitely be coming back for snacks off their menu soon.“
“I had good time Friday night with with family I kept a smile on my face all night and mingled with friendly people. I love being around an older crowd people enjoying their self that’s what it supposed to be about Black people coming together having fun without fighting all the time. Peace one love.“
“The pizza was delicious and was actually served piping hot. (not always so at other pizza places) Amazing beer selection. They had one of my favorites... Pliny the Elder. The music seems loud but we were able to easily hold a conversation (which was nice because we gathered from 3 different states).“
“Saw shalfi and sons + moondrops here one night. Came by myself and got free entry, free music, and a bar with some fun wine selections and good draft. Tenders were alternating serving drinks and adjusting the music system to ensure each song was best represented. The passion for the scene and the vibes of the small but intimate crowd was infectious. Definitely must visit if you're in the area!“
“It's one of the best place places to get pizza it's a little pricey but the meat lovers is probably your best bet. The Ambiance is absolutely beautiful. You can have your trace of a bottle of water as they can give it to you. But you may have to check up on your pizza when it's ready.“
“While we had a 6 pm reservation, we were not seated until 6:15 pm. Then once we ordered our food, it took about 40-45 minutes until it came out if the kitchen. We purposely made our reservation for 6 pm because we gad my 2 granddaughters with us and the waiting for the food was way too long for them in particular. We also parked with your valets as did one of my sons, and we waited 15-20 minutes to get our cars. While the food was good, the overall service was not.“
“There's definitely a reason this place keeps coming up everywhere as number ones bartenders are nice with a touch of sass like you'd like at a dive bar, but it's elevated. The prices are pretty pricey, but for the love ingredients and originality of the cocktails I guess it's alright, but I'm not staying for more than two lol. We ordered 4 cocktails and two mocktails and it was about $100 so time to go home lol. They have yummy little snacks and overall we were happy with this new Long Beach spot.“
