“BREAKFAST BURRITO!!! O-M-G! Probably top 2 in Long Beach right now, and I love Breakfast Burritos. The res salsa they have adds the perfect touch of spice as well. Very well done overall. As far as the coffee goes, didn’t really stand out. It’s good, not great. A little above average, but nothing out of the ordinary. But that Burrito on the other hand. Yeah, go try it. Its amazing.“

“I came for the breakfast burrito after having it recommended to me and made mine completely vegan with JUST Egg and vegan protein. It was loaded, flavorful, filling, and easily the highlight of my visit. There are several other vegan-friendly choices and modifications too. I also had a bagel with vegan garlic pepper chive cream cheese, a coconut muffin, and a seasonal pumpkin spice matcha. Everything was delicious! I especially appreciate having multiple vegan cream cheese options available for the bagels. The staff was welcoming, and it has a really nice local family-shop feel. “the coffee at this place is AMAZING you can tell they really care to make your drink well and aren’t using the basic syrups you can buy at the grocery store that every cafe seems to use these days. Although this place is TINY so not really a spot to expect to find a lot of seating if at all, the coffee is to die for. the organic milks and ingredients are delicious. i came here before a hot yoga class and was NOT disappointed. i’ll be coming back more often.“

You can visit for a relaxing coffee in a friendly environment, try out, then order a bag of freshly ground coffee. Also one of the best English breakfast teas we've ever tasted. They had two different coffees on drip and I chose one from Uganda - I think my first time I’ve had a coffee from there. It was quite good. They have coffees from like 12 different countries they roast themselves at another location in bags for purchase. Really nice spaces indoors and out. Definitely recommend.“

“I walked in and found a very quaint and cozy coffee shop that delivers high quality beans with drinks that are crafted with intensional ingredients. I was a little confused because I couldn't find the menu at first, but ultimately found a small sign that pointed to the menu that was away from the register. My first drink was a cortado and second was a ube latte. The coratdo delivered the morning kick I needed while not being overly milky. The espresso had notes of dark chocolate and stone fruit. The ube latte was a nice balance of ube sweetness, espresso, and milk. Most places will focus more on the ube flavor, but this one had a nice balance of all ingredients. I had two croissants with my drinks. The pastries have a bite and crumble of freshness and an unctuousness of buttery goodness. I'd score this 4.1/5 as there isn't a wide selection to choose from, but what is there are the familiar favorites. The staff are courteous and helpful throughout the morning hustle and bustle. They take time to help you choose your drinks by understanding your preferences. I'd give the service 4.3. The music is as thoughtful and intentional as the drinks, adding a calm and comforting tone to your start of the day as the cacophony of espresso drips, text message dings, and chatter fill the space. I'd give the atmosphere a 4.25/5. Its menu is not as intuitively placed as one would like it to be when walking into a coffee shop. I had to scan around for longer than I normally would for a menu. Parking can be a bit of a task as well, but luckily spots become quickly available as people grab their orders and leave. All-in-all, Memento delivers on many fronts, but loses points for menu placement. However, it's all worth it. I'd like to come back to try the rest of the menu since I know where it is now.“

“I'm a bit late in posting this, but I had to make sure I gave a shout out to Steelhead Coffee in Long Beach! I stopped by while working in the area with my pup . It was such a beautiful day and we saw this safe and had to stop. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful they even took the time to ask if it was my first time there. My coffee was delicious and the matcha was perfect. A huge plus is how much they love pups; they even had dog treats ready! If you're looking for a dog-friendly spot with great drinks and a welcoming vibe, this is it. Highly recommend for the great energy and top-tier menu items.“

“Popped into the Belmont Shore location on a Friday about 7pm. Seated quickly, ambiance nice. Casual pickup side and a dining room.
Interesting menu. Checked out the anchovies on crostini- the sauce overwhelmed the anchovy. The bread basket was delightful albeit you must choose either focaccia or sourdough. Why not one slice of each? Wonderfully toasted (with olive oil) but made me wonder why it was toasted as one gets butter and olive oil to dip the bread in. The lamb pork belly skewers are small but delicious and great with the tzatziki sauce. The highlight was the Panzenella Salad. The soft cheese, fresh tomatoes, basil and crisp croutons were wonderful.
Service was a bit mixed. Why leave us with 2 menus and the drink menu with so little room on our tables. Please don’t take away dishes that still have even a morsel left with today’s prices. I will go back.“

“First timer here. The wait was relatively short for a Saturday morning, as we were greeted with a big, friendly welcome. The service is excellent. Had the chicken & waffle. Delish! The other’s in my party enjoyed their meals, as well. The decor was just nostalgic enough to took me back to memories of my own Abuela. This is a great little gem. We look forward to returning.“

This donut shop has everything one could ask for, delicious fresh donuts, kind staff, cleanliness and a classic donut shop feel. I love the nostalgia of a place like this and when coupled with great donuts and friendly service. We tried one of their fluffy glazed to start, Apple fritters, and sour cream old fashioned. Not one bad bite in the lot. Give this place a try. You won’t regret it.“
