“I love when I'm in an area that I don't frequent & search 'coffee near me' always brings me to the right places! I ordered the vanilla bean cold brew ($6.50) l loved the cold foam being made in front of my eyes- the barista recommended that I take a few sips without the lid to taste the coffee & cold foam, this was absolutely amazing! They get their pasties delivered from Nonna Mercado & I've been dying to try their pastries, the Choffle was seriously divine ($4.75) Nice crunch on the outside and soft chewy inside, this was such a treat paired with the coffee I ordered. Service is very sweet, overall vibe of this space is very quiet & quaint, I can see this being a great study spot. I came on a Friday morning. When I'm in the area I'd drop by again & definitely would recommend to others! Coffee is my self care & I truly appreciate the days when I can come & treat myself & try new places. This was a lovely experience.“

“This review is solely on the giant donut.... My birthday was last week and I wanted something different from regular ole birthday cake. I remember book marking this place after seeing a BIG donut! When my mom asked me what kind of cake I wanted I requested one of these. It did NOT disappoint. It was freaking delicious!!! Even my husband who isn't a huge donut fan really liked it! He thought it would be dried out and not good. It was so soft and fresh. Mmmmmm Even the leftovers the next morning were scrumptious! (I wrapped it in plastic wrap). The rest of my family enjoyed it too. The chocolate 44 numbers were also tasty so I'm sure the rest of their donuts are great as well. I can't wait to go in store and see what they have.“

“We walked in and we were created by the owner. The store has plenty of activities to keep children and adults like entertained. My daughtereven made friends while we waited! We ordered smoothies the tropical smoothie was sooo yummy. My toddler got the nana smoothie and all she could say in the ride home was Mom try some of mine...it's soo good! “After bowling a couple games, I decided to stop in Cal Bowl Coffee Shop for a bite to eat. Went with something simple and healthy. A salad with the works. After placing my order (I was the only customer) I started wondering what was taking so long. Grab the salad out of the fridge and serve. Much to my surprise, the guy made the salad there on the spot. Fresh ingredients, including bacon, turkey, cheese, crisp fresh veggies and slices of egg! No pre-made salad sitting for days ... made there on the spot, and wow! Excellent. Seems everything is pretty much made this way. Definitely worth a short wait because the food and flavor is rewarding. AND my order was just a salad. LoL. Will be back to sample some of the special doughnuts and a cooked meal. Don't let the 'cafe' fool you, this is quality dinning.“
“I have been to Fresh Donuts several times, and I always have a great experience. The owner, Jasmine, is very nice. She goes out of her way to provide the highest quality products to her customers. After going there a few times, she found out that I like mild cheddar cheese because I brought it in to have put on my sandwich. After doing that for me, she offered to buy mild cheddar cheese so it would be there for me and other customers who like cheddar. To my mind, great quality in products starts with exceptional quality in the people who bring the very products and service to their customers. “I've been an once in a while visitor to Javatinis espresso over the years in seal beach when I'm there just to hang out. I just found out they have a Lakewood location which is 10 mins away from me. I have found that their drink quality just gotten even better. Def my favorite coffee shop in OC and LA county . I love ordering the s'mores latte iced. It's the only coffee that seems to always wake me up aswell. My latest obsession. Baristas are never pushy which like (atleast at seal beach location) javatinis is way better than Starbucks. The quality is just top tier.“

“I never thought I would write a review for a starbucks because we'll, it just another starbucks. But.....The service here was outstanding. The person in front of me ordered 30 drinks and I thought I would be there forever since there were only 4 workers. But noooo, I didn't have a chance to relax. They had me out of there in 5 minutes.This is the most efficient starbucks I've ever been to. They had 2 people working on the big order and the other 2 taking care of the line of customers.
