“I really wanted to like this place more, but unfortunately there were a few things that brought them down to 4 stars. First thing first, the drinks. I like to get the regular milk tea from these places to really assess their quality and taste. If you can get the basics right, you're a step ahead! So, got their Brown Sugar milk tea with boba and it was okay. Nothing spectacular. I want to give them another try because they have some very interesting flavors and options in their menu such as the Hokkaido creamer milk substitute and the Oreo series blended drinks. I give them props for their ingredients as you can watch them make the drinks right in front of you and they made everything fresh to order, no premixed teas or powders. Their decor and theme is quirky and fun. You can tell they put an effort to make the place catch your attention and everything looked clean and organized. Prices are reasonable and within the market value for this type of stuff. The ding for me was the limited seating inside and the smell. It's not nasty like "I need to get the H-E-double-hockey-sticks outta here!" type of smell, but definitely a bit off. I tried to come back and try another drink when I was waiting for my tacos from the other place next to them, but that smell threw me off again. A little ding for not having any snacks at all. Not even like cookies or prepackaged Japanese treats or something. Anyway, that's my take on this place.“
“This review is solely on the giant donut.... My birthday was last week and I wanted something different from regular ole birthday cake. I remember book marking this place after seeing a BIG donut! When my mom asked me what kind of cake I wanted I requested one of these. It did NOT disappoint. It was freaking delicious!!! Even my husband who isn't a huge donut fan really liked it! He thought it would be dried out and not good. It was so soft and fresh. Mmmmmm Even the leftovers the next morning were scrumptious! (I wrapped it in plastic wrap). The rest of my family enjoyed it too. The chocolate 44 numbers were also tasty so I'm sure the rest of their donuts are great as well. I can't wait to go in store and see what they have.“
“We walked in and we were created by the owner. The store has plenty of activities to keep children and adults like entertained. My daughtereven made friends while we waited! We ordered smoothies the tropical smoothie was sooo yummy. My toddler got the nana smoothie and all she could say in the ride home was Mom try some of mine...it's soo good! “It’s been a few weeks since I have been here but I had forgotten to leave a review each time. The food here is really, really good. I’ve been to many local taco spots and haven’t found a place that puts a spin on a taco so well that doesn’t take away from the authenticity of a taco. Every protein option is flavored so well but my pick is definitely the carnitas amd the shrimp. Amazing food, Great customer service, all around great dining experience.“

“We have been coming since my last review and it's changed... still good... pizza got better, love the new selection of beer too... the bartenders are awesome; specifically Mercedes, Danielle and Nicole... we have never had a bad time there... wish they would have another booth maybe on the other side of the original booth but hey we still go either way... now that we know they have a high chair bcuz all this time we didn't know lol... there has never been a fight or disturbance since we have been going and that's 9 years... it's always chill which makes us feel safe for taking our two kids... they allowed us taking a cake for our daughter and stopped the music to sing happy birthday to her... that's awesome! “I've been an once in a while visitor to Javatinis espresso over the years in seal beach when I'm there just to hang out. I just found out they have a Lakewood location which is 10 mins away from me. I have found that their drink quality just gotten even better. Def my favorite coffee shop in OC and LA county . I love ordering the s'mores latte iced. It's the only coffee that seems to always wake me up aswell. My latest obsession. Baristas are never pushy which like (atleast at seal beach location) javatinis is way better than Starbucks. The quality is just top tier.“
“There was a worker Alexander working at around 10 pm in the drive through today, he served me with amazing service, got my order correctly and made sure I had my condiments. Overall, he was sweet and made me feel welcomed. I will definitely be returning back! :)“
“I was Looking for a spot to eat healthy today. Found this place. Entered this business established, was greeted and seated immediately. Menu's were given to us. Ordered a Greek Lamb Salad, flat steak dinner and wine. Took a bite of both food entrees. All was fresh and delicious, including the wine! Saturday evening was quite pleasant. A guitarist was playing the night away which made the ambiance great. The thing that stood out was the service. Our Waiter and the staff kept checking up on us and stating if we are good and if we needed anything else. This was ongoing on our dining experience here. This shows that their very adamant about the service given that reflect on their business. A tip worth giving. Not like those other locations where they barely put in any effort on customer service but expect you to tip 23% or more. I recommend this place in the Lakewood California area. You will get great tasting food and service. This is my go to for Greek food in this area.!“
“First time visit has hooked us for sure! Super friendly and welcoming service. This place offers “Detroit Style” pizza which I had never tried. The lady behind the counter was more than happy to explain what it was in detail. I would highly recommend if you’re in the mood for fast food pizza to go or dine in dispute having very limited seating.“

My only complaint is that the croissants aren't flaky, but that's getting really nitpicky. “Best Nachos this side of Lakewood! Order Super Nachos with Carne Asada - you won't be disappointed. Can feed 4 people! The 2 chicken Taco plate (#9) is also good as well with big chunks of chicken. Burritos are OK here but you are better off ordering one of the combination plates. Definitely a take-out place as you cannot go inside but can drive-thru or order through walk-up window. Service has always been good and friendly and food fresh and delicious. Be sure to tip big - these guys work hard.“
“The gold standard in Korean corn dogs. Two Hands was established in 2019 in LA, and has since expanded to over 100 locations nationwide. If you are unfamiliar, Korean corndogs do not contain corn. The breading is a yeasted batter, enrobing your choice of meat and/or cheese. The masterpiece is finished with addictive toppings such as hot Cheeto dust, injeolmi powder, or just straight up sugar. This location in the Lakewood Mall is a small kiosk, but they have the full menu, and even had the plant based sausage option that other locations seem to always be sold out of. The girls working were genuinely friendly and polite. I got the Spicy Dog with Plant Based Sausage, and the Two Hands Dog with Half Mozzarella Half Cheddar. Both were absolutely decadent. Perfectly crisp exteriors, balanced sweet, salt, creamy, and spicy elements. The plant based sausage was surprisingly juicy. The cheese had great flavor, but was solidified within minutes after ordering. No cheese pull. Regardless, I love Two Hands.“
