“Alex! it's obvious you've never been to Don Ruben's Mexican food! The food is good the customer service is good I have no complaints I'm giving it a five-star review prices are excellent you can ask for more there's nothing fishy about it you need to get out and try something and if a place is good of course they're going to have all good reviews I feel sorry for you never seen a good place or tasted good Mexican food and I'm 100% Mexican so get out some try something new unless you're from another nearby restaurant trying to put a negative spin on something but don't revenge is excellent five stars for sure!“

“Stopped in based solely on the reviews and grabbed two pies and some cheesy garlic bread. Both were fantastic. The garlic bread was soft, chewy, cheesy and buttery. The crust and the sauce on the pies were delicious and the toppings were fresh and tasty. Highly recommend.“

“Good food, i got the breakfast sandwich bagel, it was made fresh and tasted really good. I loved the fact that they had a wash bin in the store to wash hands instead of having to go to the restroom. I give the sandwich a solid 8/10. I will definitely be back.“

I usually order their customizable blueberry yogurt bowl loaded with fresh fruit, and every single time I’m amazed by how generous they are with the toppings. The fruit is always fresh, the portions are huge, and the yogurt itself is honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s creamy, flavorful, and somehow feels indulgent while still being healthy.

What made me appreciate this place even more was talking with the owners. They shared that before opening the shop, they actually slept in the building to perfect their yogurt recipes. After hearing that story, it made perfect sense why everything tastes so thoughtfully crafted. You can tell this isn’t just another dessert shop, it’s something they genuinely poured their hearts into.

The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and their passion shows in every bowl they serve. If you’re looking for a dessert that tastes amazing without leaving you feeling heavy afterward, this is the place.

“It's not a cheap date, but it's a nice one. Skip the famous Caesar salad that's not even an Italian thing. Wines are great, the pastas are good. Loud acoustics, high energy, tons of staff. Only one asked us if we wanted another glass of wine. It is a different setup, counter service and table service combo. Ordered and paid and tipped before we were even sat. Wine bar gave you tastings of any wines you wanted to try so that adds a lot to the experience.“

All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. “I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.“

“I stopped by this donut place the other morning and it honestly made my day. The moment I walked in, the smell of fresh donuts filled the whole shop. You could tell everything was made fresh because the trays were constantly being restocked.

I ordered a glazed donut and a cup of coffee, and the donut was warm, soft, and perfectly sweet. The glaze had that light crisp on the outside but melted as soon as I took a bite. It paired perfectly with the coffee.

The staff were really friendly too. They greeted everyone who walked in and made the place feel welcoming. It’s one of those simple spots that reminds you how good a fresh donut and good service can be. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m craving something sweet.“

We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch. That salad was so yummy with that incredible salad dressing and the jammy soft cooked egg. I want another one to eat with my lovely pizza leftovers. :)“

“This was my go to Indian food restaurant in Huntington Beach before being diagnosed with Celiac’s and I was so excited to meet the owner Sal and learn that he and the entire staff are so knowledgeable about the disease and gluten free kitchen practices. Sal’s mom has food allergies and so he has maintained his kitchen with strict gluten free dishes and separate areas for food prep. There are many options on the menu since most Indian food is naturally gluten free. My favorite has always been the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lama Vindaloo, but since the staff always brings out little samples of stuff I now love the Lentil Soup! And testing with my Nima Gluten Detector always shows NO Gluten Detected and I'm good to eat without fear...but I already knew that. Thanks you guys!!! Love love love this place!!!“
