Amazing hidden gem in Longbeach! Unique menu, everything was incredibly delicious. Service outstanding, super friendly stafff, aesthetic on point. Super hip and cool vibe, if you love Italian and being surprised this place it’s a most visit.
Best Italian food in Long Beach. I don’t mind waiting in line to make my order. Etiquette wise, a few things to point out: they should bring both entrees out at the same time when serving two people, not the first one that is ready. Doesn’t bode well with an otherwise patient customer number 2. Next, choice of music is good but need to tone down it down a decibel or two. Due Fiori is a cozy and inviting restaurant with a perfect, moody, whimsical, and design-forward ambiance. The setting includes a lively covered patio, made warm with heaters, and a cozy, intimate inside. The service is phenomenal, top notch, friendly, helpful, kind, attentive, efficient, and personable, with staff who seem genuinely thrilled to be there. Guests can order at the counter or at the bar, with the option to sample wine before confirming.
The menu offers fresh, balanced, decadent, flavorful, and phenomenal dishes, with plenty of options for vegetarians. Favorites include the sourdough bread, garlic confit sourdough bread, Caesar salad, sprouting cauliflower, marinated olives, and seasonal items like a persimmon and grape appetizer. Pastas are melt in your mouth and perfectly cooked al dente, such as the lemon pasta, pomodoro pasta, and duck gnocchi. Other standout dishes are the ribeye, seared and basted in brown butter, and the A Diavolo pizza. The beverage selection is fun and interesting, featuring excellent wines, a chilled red, and Donna's pickle beer. It is a perfect place for a pleasant dinner party or a cozy meal with friends, and a refreshing addition to the neighborhood. Although waits can be long, the line moves fast and it is worth it.
