“I stopped by this donut place the other morning and it honestly made my day. The moment I walked in, the smell of fresh donuts filled the whole shop. You could tell everything was made fresh because the trays were constantly being restocked.

I ordered a glazed donut and a cup of coffee, and the donut was warm, soft, and perfectly sweet. The glaze had that light crisp on the outside but melted as soon as I took a bite. It paired perfectly with the coffee.

The staff were really friendly too. They greeted everyone who walked in and made the place feel welcoming. It’s one of those simple spots that reminds you how good a fresh donut and good service can be. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m craving something sweet.“

“I got an asada burrito and the meat, beans, rice where really really good. Seasoning and quality of meat where good. The salsas where good and red salsa was perfectly spicy. I also got chile toreado and grilled onions. I would recommend this place 👌“

Its a small business privately owned and service is always good here. Ambience is not much to write about - its functional and good for a quick lunch bite. They've have got a few small tables to grab a quick lunch and food is in the mark.

My goto dishes here are Garlic Shrimp Plate, Chicken Katsu and Beef BBQ. Can't go wrong withe either of these.

“Truly an adorable spot to grab some bomb cultured food. Its like stepping into a villa in sinaloa. When you walk in the door the nicest women will greet you in Spanish eager to take your order. The food was truly awesome. Had a chorizo potato breakfast burrito and it was truly a real Mexican breakfast burrito. They were even nice enough to throw in chips and salsa with the meal. Very clean and fresh ingredients.“

Aguachile and shrimp tostadas are great too I just don't care fior the bed of lettuce they put. Why the lettuce? Mariscos don't need lettuce. Either way it is so good it all goes down my belly.“

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“Last night we went to Speak Cheezy on 4th St at Termino. First off, EXCELLENT customer service! We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch.
