“This place is amazing the sandwiches are delicious. “I love the chicken Parmesan sandwich personally “. The cannolis are great, Wine prices are reasonable and really good selection,. The customer service is outstanding, all the individuals are very sweet and kind. I Highly recommend this hidden gem, The food is a true Italian experience.“
“First time visit has hooked us for sure! Super friendly and welcoming service. This place offers “Detroit Style” pizza which I had never tried. The lady behind the counter was more than happy to explain what it was in detail. I would highly recommend if you’re in the mood for fast food pizza to go or dine in dispute having very limited seating.“
“Pizza is the best I've had nearby, they're super quick to have it ready when you order online or call in, and they always have deals online as well. The only negative thing I can think of about this place is that they don't really have much dine in seating, but that doesn't seem to be an issue for me or anyone else I've seen there.“
“The staff here make you feel incredibly welcomed and are all extremely kind and helpful. A lovely woman helped me over the phone and didn't get frustrated with me over deciding what toppings I wanted. And once we arrived there , it felt like I had just walked into someone's home. It's a nice warm feeling type of restaurant that makes you feel like you're at home with family. The Large pizza we ordered is In my opinion, my favorite pizza yet. The ingredients taste fresh and light. I usually get super bloated after eating pizza but not this time. It was just incredibly delicious and I would totally come back here anytime.“
“We were warmly greeted upon arrival. They serve delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. You must give it a try. The restaurant is clean and has a great atmosphere. They play light music in the background. The dishes are flavorful. The waiter was attentive. The owner checked in with us and thanked us for eating at his restaurant. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.Parking: The restaurant has parking in the back and there's also free street parking.“
“One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Long Beach.Every bite takes me back to Italy. ?Carbonara and Romana Pizza it’s my favorite.Great service and Great staff. Expect to wait if you’re having dining in on a weekend.Worth the wait!“
“I’ve been here 5+ times now and it is my my favorite Napoli-style pizza in HB. Hands down. It’s light, well balanced and sooo tasty.Unlike many other pizzas that are super loaded and greasy, this is the opposite.Quality ingredients you can ACTUALLY TASTE!Service has been outstanding every time I’ve gone. The one time my order ran late (a take out pizza) due to a weekend dinner rush and a wood fire over naturally taking longer, they gifted me a free second pie for having waited for merely 20 mins.Super delicious, quality and kind service. What more can you ask for? ?♂️And YES, it is cash only, but trust me when I say that if that’s the reason you’re not going, you’re a fool. $3 charge on the ATM they have inside will make no difference to your experience, and you will come away thanking me.Please keep up the great work!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp directly in the front“
“this place was AMAZING little small but it's a nice little spot. BUT! the food was absolutely delicious probably the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had and the pesto raviolis holy crap to freaking die for the lady at the counter was super nice and helpful and The food came out quick would Recommend all my friends and family and all food love to try immediately thankyou so much to all the staff for and amazing experience and amazing food“
“This restaurant is in my top 10 favorites with THE REEF and others. This restaurant definitely a five star restaurant, not 4.5. I drove 65 miles/1hr 10 minutes to come here because I heard great things about this restaurant, and what I heard was the truth. We came today on Easter. YELPERS, please reserve weeks ahead. Now the live band was awesome. The food was delicious. I had a great time. They have the main parking, Valet parking was $10 during my visit, they told me they also have extended parking across the street. When I entered, I was greeted at the door by staff. Delaney and the customer service staff were polite, friendly with all smiles. That's what customers love, with excellent customer service. So Delaney got us a table about 10 minutes wait, which was quick. And we got lucky because 4 others reserved, and me and 3 others waited 10 minutes, we got lucky. Customer service gets an A++. Our server was Danielle, she gets an A++. She took us to our table, 4 us if we're late from the other 4. Danielle took our orders, came back 5 times to make sure we were good. She refilled our glasses, and other servers did the same to make sure. I call it TEAM WORK. Now I went back n forth from the band, to the restroom, to my family's other table because we got there late, so I wasn't able to sit in their area. This place was crowded and every server that was moving trays were polite stopped and said "You're first" I've been to other restaurants where servers cut in front of customers. Not Spaghettini, everyone had a smile. This was my first time and I'll drive 65 miles again. By The Way, I used to work in food & beverages, used to work as a waiter at San Manuel Casino. So I know great customer service when I see it. Thank you Delaney and the front counter representatives. Thank you Danielle, Delaney and Thank you Spaghettini. This restaurant gets 5 stars.Parking: Free parking, valet parking and free parking across the street from the restaurant.“
“In the summer of 1975, I was only 14, and already a "Busboy extraordinaire"! My family had just moved from East Los Angeles to Monterey Park, and I started working at the best Italian restaurant on the planet, 'Agostino's'. At first, I thought all the beautiful girls were coming in to see me clear dirty dishes off of dirty tables. I later learned it had something to do with the food. And something to do with the restaurants' proximity to Mark Keppel High School. On top of all that. it was Great pizza at an affordable price. I stayed there charming the clientele for about three years. I met members of the M.P. Police, council members, Mayors, and others. I saw my classmates come in with their families, on dates, and in the banquet room after every major school dance. It was a place where you could go have pizza with friends, and not be embarrassed to run into your parents having a nice dinner. It was the hub of all social life in the San Gabriel Valley. I left the restaurant for college in 1978. In 1980, Agostino ("Gus") and Alicia sold the restaurant and went back to Sicily. I hadn't seen them in almost 50 years. A half century! Well, my fellow Monterey Parklandians (is that even a word?), this past weekend my wife says to me: "Remember your wish to step into 1975 and smell the food at Agostino's again"? She then drove me to this small Italian restaurant in the community of Paramount. Inside ..... were Gus & Alicia. The original owners who gave me my first real job so many years ago. The food was as good OR better than I remembered. Just as fresh too. My wife and I split an antipasto salad, a lasagna, and a pizza. Alicia came over to sit with us, we traded hugs & stories. Alicia is as warm and delightful as I remembered her. We didn't spend too much time with Gus, he was busy. Although I believe Gus is still jealous, because Alicia thinks I'm too handsome. It's a mystery. If you lived in the MP/Alhambra area for any amount of time, you surely enjoyed the authentic Sicilian food from Agostino's. And you'll truly enjoy Gus & Alicia's "Cafe Corleone". I know we'll be going back. CAFE CORLEONE 15337 Paramount Blvd, Paramount, CA (562) 408-6100. Dine-in/Takeout / Delivery“
“A cozy, romantic atmosphere, my family and I had a full table to seat us all.Learning about the menu from our server, we all found exactly what we were craving. Even learned the ingredients used to make our dish. Which was amazing, top-notch services. With our order, we all got some soup or salad. The lasagna I ordered was um um umm. My family all were happy with we order and full ready to enjoy our night.Taking home a large pizza for home.“
“I am a lover of Italian food! Overall the place was good. Everything seemed fresh and had good flavor. We ordered the burrata appetizer, which was decent. I appreciated that they had 2 types of gluten free pasta. They made the other pastas in house. Worth a try if you are craving Italian food and are in the area.“
“I've been here so many times but today was the first time I had the pesto which was delicious. I never knew the ingredients for pesto after reading it I felt as if I could taste each ingredient. Everything here is so flavorful. Highly recommend“
“Wow. I'm so beyond thrilled to have found this tiny little gem! The food is beyond delicious. Take a trip to flavortown and enjoy the ride hahahaha this place is insanely good. I got calamari and some penne russa (I think) with chicken and it came with a salad WHICH WAS ALSO SO DARN DELICIOUS. Everything was delicious. Everything was hot. The man who I believe was the owner gave me theeee best service I could ask for after a long day of work. The place looked so cute and cozy I wish I could've stayed and dined in. Found my new favorite Italian spot in Long Beach!! Thank you so much for the amazing food and service! I will definitely be back“
“One of the best Italian restaurant. One of Orange County’s hidden gem. Delicious Italian food, Good service and beautiful restaurant. We love it!!! I highly recommend them. My favorites are their bread, fettuccini Alfredo and best spaghetti bolognese . They also give you generous proportion. Really must try!!!Vegetarian options: There’s vegetarian choicesKid-friendliness: Kids will love the food“
“I host a dinner for 17 And was extremely happy with the food and how well we were taking care of. Leonard and his team did an outstanding job. Even though we ordered off the menu all at the same time our food arrived promptly. The last person was served only a few minutes after the first person. Ricci's has been of one of her favourite Italian restaurants for many years. Their prices saw both food and wine are very reasonable. There's plenty of free parking in the back.“
“The food and service are great! I love their house salad with pickled vegetables. The pasta is excellent and the Italian sausage is a little spicy and yummy. My boyfriend ordered the veil and enjoyed it (I wouldn't try it). The bread is amazing!! They get the bread from a local sandwich shop that is famous for their bread! Highly recommend.“
“SOLID pasta. Had the parpadelle vodka on my most recent visit but had others in the past and they were all great. I wouldn't mind if the prosciutto with the parpadelle wasnt crispy. The tables are quite small and you have to be ok with dining close quarters. Service was adequate and friendly. Wish they had a couple beers on tap but didnt take away much from the dining experience“
“The Best Pizza in Town with Delicious WingsBig Rob's Pizzeria has become my go-to spot for pizza in town, and for good reason. Their pizzas are consistently delicious, with the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings on a crispy crust. Every bite is a delight, and I always find myself satisfied after enjoying a meal here.In addition to their fantastic pizza, Big Rob's also serves up some of the best wings in town. Whether you prefer them spicy or mild, their wings are always cooked to perfection and never fail to impress. The service at Big Rob's Pizzeria is also worth mentioning. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure that every customer feels welcome and well taken care of.“
“So so glad I got around to trying this place out, the pastas are SO GOOD!! We tried the mentaiko and the squid ink pasta - the flavor profile for both was perfect and the noodles were cooked al dente! The portion size was just right too. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu“
“AWESOME PIZZA!!!I'm blown away by the quality of your pizza. I ordered the Medium Veggie and boy was I blown away by the quality of the pizza. To start with the dough is hand spun, making it nice and fluffy but not doughy like many others. Crust and undercarriage was crispy not greasy and cooked perfectly. The sauce was perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Plenty of vegetables and perfectly balanced cheese. If you are looking for a great pizza this is definitely the place. I am a tough person to satisfy when it comes to pizza but this place gets two thumbs up! I'll definitely be back. Also the service is friendly. This place is a hidden gem, so many small pizza places are dissappearing because people settle for cheap, disgusting pizza. I am happy to discover this place! Keep up the great job! Good luck!“
“Excellent food and service. We don't usually drive this far for restaurants but any time we're in the neighborhood this is a must stop. Oxtail ragout gnocchi is outstanding. Especially appreciated that chef Giuseppe insisted on replacing our pasta bolognese when I asked for more sauce. The pride he shows in his work is very much appreciated. Be sure to check out the chalk board daily specials. During covid lock down we came often to take his specials home. Well worth the trip.Parking: Parking structure across the street is reasonably priced“
“The food here is fantastic! This is fine dining. Sophisticated dishes. Full bar. This is not a place to if you want a quick bite. This is a dining experience.Great place for birthdays.Perfect for entertaining out of town guests. Every dish is exceptional. The waiters are professional and attentive.I recommend this restaurant.“
“We love this place. It’s our favorite italian restaurant for lunch ( more casual) or date night dinner. Amazing food and excellent service. We tried many dishes here and all of them were so tasty and would order again and again. We enjoy Italian food so we tried many restaurants but this one is the best or one of the best in the area.Small, cozy and romantic for dinner.Easy, fast and tasty for lunch.Very reasonably priced and staff is so friendly.“
“This is a great neighborhood gem. The menu is consistent if not adventurous. I've tried most things on the menu. My favorites are the veal Gorgonzola or veal Carciofi, and Braciola Neapolitana, thin sliced beef stuffed and rolled. Before your meal bread is served with a flavorful chimichuri sauce. There is a wine bar for more relaxed dining with music or the more formal restaurant side. The full menu is offered on both sides. The service is outstanding. If you want your “Cheers” moment, they remember your name when you come in.“
“I am not a food truck fan in general. Maybe two or three times a year I go to one, but it was raining and cold and there was one at the front door so tonight was Food Truck Night, and an overcooked, overpriced burger with too many fries would be just fine.SO WHAT A THRILL TO DISCOVER ITALIA ON THE ROAD instead. The tastiest lasagna I have ever had, with a fresh salad I was too full to eat.The bread and chocolate chip canolis, which I did have time for, were good enough to write about. So I am. Wonderful dinner.Equally important if not more so, ANGELO and SOLENT, the Truck's partners in life and lasagna, were so kind and warm and genuine that my dinner experience soared to really special heightsThey are cover-model captivating, both of them; without a touch of conceit. The food tonight was exceptional, and my experience unparalleled , .in that great way when life occasionally makes the ordinary extraordinaryPeople worth knowing, food worth tasting, and a small business worth supporting. ITALIA ON THE ROAD.Dinner is served (see photo).Buon appetito.“
“Marri's has been an institution in Long Beach for as long as I can remember. The "graffiti wall" is legendary, and I have memories of eating there a few times as a child. I was "reintroduced" to Marri's when a good friend reminded me of them nearly 30 years ago and my wife and I have been regulars ever since. The staff is always friendly, the portions are generous, and the price is more than reasonable. My wife, and several of our friends have sampled various pasta dishes, and we don't know if they're "authentic", but they're definitely amazong. As a lifelong TMMT fan, I've always been into pizza, and while I'll eat most any pizza -except those Mama Celeste ones made of paper plates and garbage - there are definitely tiers. If Pizza Hut is the equivalent of McDonalds, then Marri's is the pizza equivalent of Ruth's Chris without the price tag, or pretension. The dough isn't a cracker, or Brooklyn thin, but neither is it deep dish thick. A solid "hand-tossed" base that's just flavorful enough without being too much. Where a lotpizza is better the next day because the sauce has had time to age - Marri's sauce is perfect right out of the oven. They're toppings are fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. And, finally, they're marinara is thick, gooey, and generously heaped on top - if you're not an I like some pizza with my cheese person, like me, you won't need to worry about adding extra like you do in most places just to get adequate coverage. If you live in Long Beach, or are just visiting, and you've never been, do yourself a favor - Go see Shelly and Julio for a slice, or 12. And, if you have been there - IKYK ?“
“I grew up eating here and have never been disappointed. We had to move to AZ after living in Cali for 42 years. Any way my husband went out there and he asked if there was anything I wanted lol I sent him here. So if you are thinking of trying Paul’s do it I promise you won’t regret it.“
“I love their pizza here when they get it right, being consistent when people are spending their hard earned money is critical. Nice looking place with beautiful hanging lights. However, when the cats away, the mice will play. ? Staff can be a HUGE flip flop. Some are sweet, others if owners not around can be not so nice. And the thing is people actually care how they are treated or others around them. So room for improvement. Hope the info. Helps.“
“I have been going here for years. Pizza is the best in town, the owner and staff are very nice people and it’s worth every penny because they make the most high caliber pizza that is made. There’s no skimping on toppings and the cheese is real cheese! I’m a very loyal customer and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for the best pizza in town!“
“Always a delicious experience, whether you are ordering a sandwich or lunch special or buying some deli items out of the case - like an antipasta salad. YUM! It gets busy during lunch time, but the line moves quickly. Try the meatball sandwich.“
“Delicious pizza served at the old Whittier post office. There are non-pizza options available as well. Friendly staff are very helpful. The only downside was not seeing more about the building's previous function. That would be a great addition for out of town visitors. I will definitely be returning when I am in town next!“
“My favorite place to get Italian food! We got a reservation in advance and were seated right away. All of the dishes came out fresh and our server came by every so often to check up on us. Definitely recommend the vanilla soufflé, it was absolutely amazing.“
“I was there right when it opened and had the best experience, everything was perfect and definitely will be going again. For the first time everything about a place complimented everything the staff were super helpful, the food was amazing, the drinks were nice and cheap, and the atmosphere was phenomenal.“
“I just came back from Chicago a week ago, and this pizza is exactly like Chicago style pizza! Their pizza crust is crispy and has such a good flavor, their marinara sauce is very thick and rich as well. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THEIR WINGSSS, THE BEST IVE EVER HAD If your craving authentic Chicago style pizza, this is the place to go!! (Service was amazing as well!)“
“Family brunch at Ellies was enjoyable. We sat outside and were able to have great conversation. Service was a little slow but wait was rewarded with great food. There r many options to choose. High praise for the breakfast lasagna and short ribs.“
“This restaurant is officially my go-to pizza place after trying it for the first time today. Gone are the days where you can find an affordable pizza without breaking the piggy bank... till I discovered Cityside Pizza Palace. Do not let the outside look of the location fool you. You need to try this pizza for yourself. They don't go light on the toppings or cheese like other pizza locations that charge you almost $30 for a pizza that costs no more than $10 altogether when buying in bulk (which every pizza place does). Their wings are also delicious and pretty huge in my opinion. I will be returning soon. You definitely get your money's worth here.“
“I have to tell this story .God was in the Midst.I was feeling depressed.I decided to take a bus ride to Lynnwood .When I got on the bus I sat next to a distinguished Gentlemen .He placed an order on the phone. He ordered LinguineFried Artichokes,Italian Sausage with Onions,Green Peppers with Marinara Sauce.Itcwas cooked in Olive Oil.I had 25.00 and I decided I was taking myself on a bus ride to cheer me up.I was looking for an Italian Restaurant.I asked the Gentleman where he was ordering his food. The restaurant was at the last stop.He was so nice.Mice people can be hard to find in Cali. When I walked into the family owned restaurant. What I loved most was a picture ofmy favorite singer Frank Sinatra autographed. It brought back memories as an eleven year old being on the set of Ocean Eleven. My Uncle Olon Godare a Understudy for Sammy Davis Jr.after he lost his eye in a car accident.I helped stack the money up in the back of the armored truck. The food was excellent.I felt like I was in Italy.Tge service was impeccable. The atmosphere was full of yuppies and was so conservative and I kept thinking at one point. This Restaurant should be in Beverly Hills. The food was to die for. They gave me so much food ,I ate it for 3 days.I have not stopped thinking about this restaurant for 3 years .As of Saturday.M6 daughter and my grandson and I are going there..PLEASE MAKE THIS RESTAURANT A REGUKAR PLACE.it lifted my spirits ,brought back good memories .Uncle Frank and Uncle Sammy and Uncle dino, and Uncle Peter and Uncle Joey RIP.Thanks for yoir superior restaurant. This will not be my last time .So for all of you reading this post.Put his place on your bucket list.I can still feel the Spiritual uplift. This restaurant was good for my soul and spirit. Thanks La Pasta.Dietary restrictions: They have Chef specials .I just called and told them I wanted Artichokes Linguine Italian sausage with Green peppers and onions cooked with Olive Oil with marinara sauce. The Chefs is cooking it on Saturday .The customer was 20.00 and it is worth it.“
“La mejor pizza que e comido echa con masa madre , salsa orgánica ,ingredientes frescos , sus pizzas de la casa las recomiendo como la mexicana , pollo en chipotle , carne azada , la peruana , la hondureña, salvadoreña y las tradicionales , lugar familiar y muy l“
“Excellence in every way. Service was fast and friendly. Food was fresh and delicious. We sat outside enjoying the summer heat but with a breeze and it just somehow complimented the meal in itself. Excellent visit. The fettuccine chicken Alfredo was just delicious. Ordered a Caprese salad as an appetizer and it just set the right vibe. Good food can change your mood. Deliciouso but in an Italian accent. Enjoy.“
“My family is thrilled to have found this place!!! Our daughter started college at Biola university and loves pasta. This is top of the list anytime we visit. It was also our first stop after a 28 hour road trip to bring her back to school in January. Great food! Great service! Can’t say enough good things!“
“My dad and I stumbled upon this small family owned Italian restaurant the other day and I seriously considered sharing it cause it's such a gem. It's been around for 20 years! They serve up the most authentic Italian food I've ever tasted in California. The calzone, the authentic pasta dishes, the cozy atmosphere, the homemade desserts, and the personal touch from the owner all come together and I felt like I was having dinner in nonna's house. We had the daily special (pasta asparagus with chicken). There's no heavy sauce to duel out the flavors, everything is so savory and fresh and al dente without being sticky, I could taste each thing, the chicken, the asparagus, the tomato... Everything is made fresh everyday and perfectly cooked. The calzone was my personal favorite. The crust was perfectly crispy, and there wasn't too much of it on the edges. It was hands down the best I've ever had. Nothing feels rushed. There's a deli inside as well. The owner comes out to greet every customer personally and genuinely cares about their feedback. It's refreshing to see someone so passionate about their restaurant and the people who dine there. We got a complimentary salad with homemade dressing. For dessert we went for the cannoli, cheesecake and spumoni, but they also have tiramisu on the menu. We got some delicious coffee in a French press which was so amazing! They have a whole espresso machine for more elaborate drinks. The quality of the food you get here is unbeatable for the price and the personal touch. It's a steal, really and rare for a restaurant these days. My dad is a tough critic but loved every bite and couldn't stop raving about it“
“I've been coming to this place since they opened. I was one of their first customers when they were at their old spot just around the way from where they are now. That place was bigger. Doesn't matter, Milana's has the best pizza in Long Beach.Parking: Free parking for 2 hours“
“Great food and beer ? and wine specials. ? lots of tv's to watch football and other sporting events. The workers are very nice and hospitable.Parking: Huge parking lot in front of Trader Joe's.Kid-friendliness: Great place for an after school snack.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level is excellent for wheelchairs ♿️“
“Now you see it, now you don't ... because it's all in my belly. Nothing better than freshly made pasta and sauce. Ate this up in less than 10 minutes, probably 5 minutes, but I don't want you to judge me. LOL. Tagliatelle Bolognese, Mmmm good!“
“Good pizza! I like the cheese and the crust. Solid on the toppings too. I used to love getting their oven baked wings because they are good, but since they increased the price, the value doesn't match the extra cost. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, and other times, it seems like they'd rather be somewhere else.“
