“We were a oarty of approximately 18 including 4 kids. Our server Chris was Magnificent and patient with. Got our orders down exactly as we requested, on the first try. Good job! We also ordered various desserts all of which were DELICIOUS so sorry i don't have photos to show but please know EVERY giid item ordered was right on point
Wife had the Eggplant Parmigianna and a slice of tres leches cake, my Grilled Chicken Margherite and Chocolate Lasagna were absolutely mouth-watering. I th8nk the birthday girl had the shrimp Alfredo. Others had the Calabrian Steak and Shrimp Bucatini, the Grilled Salmon minestrone, Ravioli Carnonara, Seafood Alfredo, Chicken and Gnocchi. Kids had their pizza (of course) other desserts included were Sicilian Cheesecakes,Black-Tie mousse Cake and Italian Doughnuts
All in all spectacular dishes.

“My husband Dr.Marcial López surprised me for my birthday with an excellent catering service dinner . They arrived early to set up. The food was excellent and everything was fresh . I am very satisfied with their food and their professionalism. All my guest were impressed with the dinner . I will hire them for my mom’s birthday. Thank you hubby for an amazing dinner present . “I have to say for the time frame open until 4am YES, the toppings, the freshness and especially decent sauce. Being from the Jersey/York border line the time frame is amazing and even toppings and great seasonings I'm in love! Amazing place especially if you work overnight or just slept in. “Fantastic roman style pizza. My new favorite style. Crispy on the bottom and ends, and a great flavor to the crust. Not to thick so it doesnt overload you with bread and the roman pinsa style of fermentation makes it eaiser to digest too! Great creative use of quality toppings and combinations different from many places. Excellent salads and of course nice wines that they can steer you to what may be to. your liking. Chartruitere board for 4 needed more than one type of cheese and would have benefited from one other meat besides mortadella and prosciutto. However all the ingredients were top notch. Inside is quite noisy and the outside patio is nice with it ringed by large plants so you dont see the street. Plus 3rd street here has almost no traffic. Music was a bit loud on the patio to compete with talking but not terrible. Service was very friendly but food came out on the slow side. Restaurant was packed on a saturday night at 6:15 so that may be why as the kitchen is small. But like in Rome, you shouldnt be in a rush when you eat. It's the Italian way. Not a huge menu but many items sounded really good so will need to try again. The tiramisu was great but diffferent. Served in a goblet with the cookies dusted on top it was like more of a pudding with the lady fingers. Other normal versions have more of the cake in layers than this but it was quite good. The pistachio ice cream was also really good too. But really this is one of the best pinsa style pizzas I have had, I have eaten them at many places! So if you come here you need to get the pizza!“

“This is authentic down to the sexy owner Francesco with the beautiful accent. He made the heck out of my cappuccino with a hint of house made vanilla and cinnamon. He deftly stirred and measured all the while answering my questions just so I could hear him speak.
I also got the fritatta with zucchini and other delicious veggies. O.g! Do, savory and fluffy. They have so many items on the menu from pastas to decadent desserts and they even have imported Italian sparkling water and still. If you wanna feel transported to a country and romanticize what your taste buds are experiencing, this is the place for you. There is some seating outside and you can people watch but the star of all of this is incredible food just the way his beloved Grandmother made.“

“What a discovery!!! Trattoria Daly is great! In fact it's a real "find" in Lincoln Heights-- just east of downtown but totally convenient. So nice to be in a non-corporate friendly setting in a restaurant run by great people who care about their customers and are proud of what they offer. This neighborhood gem will attract foodies and friends and harkens the beginning of a mini-restaurant row near downtown, Keck Hospital, Dodger Stadium, among other neighborhoods in various directions. The owners were for many years part of the team at Pacific Dining Car-- these guys are well acquainted with high end service and food. What they've established in the past six months, is a friendly local spot with top quality food and service-- for unbelievably reasonable prices. The bill of fare is Italian-- excellent starters, super pastas, and entree's like rib-eye steak, salmon. You can also do a simple pizza night-- or make it a special occasion. I've spent a LOT of time in Italy, and I'm picky about Italian food. This is an excellent kitchen! The general atmosphere is like a "discovery" of that little off the beaten track gem. But word must have gotten out-- when we dined there on a Sunday night, the place was hopping! The visible to the house skilled kitchen was keeping up with the crowd of happy diners. Two decades of Pacific Dining Car (which didn't survive covid) made these guys the pros they are. You shouldn't have to "sell a kidney" to eat well-- and this place is proof. They are in process and waiting for their liquor license -- but you can bring your own vino-- (or pick up something at the Smart & Final down the street.) It's great to see professionals who are really good guys stir up the right ingredients-- warmth, welcome, excellent food, and outstanding service, and ample evidence that the American dream is still alive. “The set-up (ordering food), can be confusing initwllly, but the server explained and made it simple to figure it out. Iris (our server) was OUTSTANDING! Very informed and helpful with ordering suggestions and wine picks. She was also kind and fun to talk to. Each dish we ordered was delicious. The sardines in butter, arugula salad, the mini margarita pizza and the spicy branzino crudo was so fresh and the perfect amount of heat! We can't wait to come back.“

I was in a sport coat and jeans, but wish I had dressed up better to show the venue the respect it deserves. I don't think there is any particular dress code, but this definitely a place you want to look your best. It was like going back in time a hundred years to a Great Gatsby party. “Great food in a sketchy area. Between people yelling at me out of cars, aggressive barking dogs, and semi trucks blowing through stop signs, I didn’t feel particularly safe.

However, the pasta at Barrio is incredible. The vodka rigatoni with ground sausage was absolutely perfect and adding burrata only made it more so. You get a ton of burrata for the $5 add-on price and it was probably the best I’ve ever tasted. The pesto pasta was okay, I’m not the biggest pesto fan and it tasted like a mouthful of grass to me. The bread appetizer wasn’t worth it, the bread wasn’t warm and didn’t appear to be freshly baked.“

“It was a warm summer day and the purpose of our visit was the happy hour lunch at the Maddalena restaurant. When we got there it happened to be closed for a private party. While we were disappointed, we were able to be accommodated outside at the 1917 bar and patio. They had a huge fan, lots of shade, and misters. It was really tolerable and the afternoon had a breeze. We were able to enjoy some chilled Viognier and some artisan pizzas and pasta with salad and bread. The afternoon turned out great. Bella was our server. Inside Santo took care of us so well. We had a tasing and some complimentary sparkling juice for my 9 year old daughter. John in the gift shop took care of us with great service and kindness. It was a nice visit despite our initial plans not working out. Santo is a great host and takes pride in the winery!!! Thank you!!!“

“Attended the Night at the Library birthday celebration at the L.A. library and saw Settecento steps away from the entrance. We made a reservation, while inside the event for 8:30 pm. The hostess at the stand that night was all over the place and people were complaining asking where she went and no one knew, but we all noticed once a line began to build, she would disappear. I would recommend making a reservation just so you have a solid place in line and so you're at least ready to be seated.
Angel our server was fun! We loved his energy, it wasn't over the top and it was very mellow, but also he was on top of everything and checked in with us and gave us great suggestions for drinks, appetizers, entrees. I will say, this place looks fancy and expensive and also a dream. The outdoor seating is like you're eating in a countryside in Europe and not in Downtown Los Angeles. We sat outside and our table featured a sofa as one of the seating options. We had the best girl dinner and were able to catch up over drinks and food and Candlelight and I didn't want to leave. I had the pizza, my sister had the filet mignon and one of us had the pasta .

The calimari was good as the starter and they also had house bread which was so good. The Settecento pizza was my favorite and their pizzas are delicious, light, airy, full of flavor. My sister said her filet was ok but the mushroom sauce was delicious. For dessert, I believe we ordered the Tortino and the Tiramisu and both were great but the Tortino was a little better. I ordered the Toki Pona to drink and couldn't finish it but it was very good.
Definitely recommend eating here to everyone. It's great food, ambiance and our server Angel took great care of us.“

“I ordered delivery, so I can't speak to service or atmosphere. They have really, really good pizza. The pepperoni deluxe is great. Other places put extra on top and when you get it, it's sitting in a puddle of grease. Here there's a layer under the cheese and on top , so it's not greasy and there's pepperoni in every bite. Their bbq chicken pizza is also the best I've ever had. The bbq and marinara sauces are both very flavorful and not bland like many places. I've been ordering from there for about 8 years. I also order elsewhere, but I always go back to them.“
