“Very good food. I had the eggplant Parmesan, and it did not disappoint. It was very good and I would order it again. The side salad was excellent; very tasty and flavorful. The garlic cheese bread was excellent, fresh and warm. My buddy had the meatball spaghetti and he said it was very good. I ordered medium cheese pizza to take home; fresh and delicious. Also, the size was more like an extra large and a medium. And dessert was very good, I got the ice cream. The average plate is about $20 but it’s worth it. I would definitely go back for another meal.Parking: Free parking, but not a lot of parking spaces.“
“The food here is great- spinach ravioli with pink sauce, a side salad, and garlic bread hit the spot for real, served by people who really care, and enjoy the food as much as you do. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much. The environment is lovely and it's small, but warm, which is often times hard to do. Finding good Italian that is high quality and not too expensive is a feat, but Genoveses does the job.“
“I took a detour due to police activity on the road which led me to Charlie's Trio restaurant. I decided to grab lunch there. I ordered the pepperoni pizza which the taste and look reminded me of Gino's pizza that closed up a long time ago. It was delicious. The flavor of the cheese and sauce were excellent. The crust was a bit think , but I enjoyed it. The pepperoni was good, however a bit greasy. I sampled their meatballs and Italian sausage, and both were tasty, but the sausage was a bit overcooked. We grabbed a baby spinach and gorgonzola salad, which was crisp and fresh. Dessert was ordered, banana cream tart, fruit tart, and order the canoli but they gave me a slice of tiramisu. The tiramisu and banana cream were excellent, but the fruit tart custard was too watery. I would repeat for the pizza, salad, and banana cream tart. Total with tax $82.95. I'll be back to sample the other pizzas“
“I had the Philly Beef..well prepared, however the meat was not tasty and a bit tough. My partner had Chicken Scallpopini and he said he enjoyed his meal. I recalled this place used to be a bit more crowded; not busy on a Thursday evening. Music in background could have been a bit more upbeat. I felt restaurant prices were expensive, however servers were extremely attentive and helpful. Unfortantely, I will not be returning.“
“Food was amazing! The service was bad! Very expensive but I expected to be better taken care of. They were fully staffed but no one seemed to be working efficiently. We were 8 and none of the food runners ever knew who ordered what. They had to ask on every plate they brought. Not just our table but others as well. I don’t know if they have busboys as our table was never cleared. Plates upon plate stacked up. No one asked if we wanted a second drink and the glasses were never picked up. When we ordered dessert we had to move the 16 empty drink and water glasses to one side, gather the bread plates, wipe everything down and wait for our desserts. It was a busy night but not too busy for bad service. I kinda expected more than diner service at such an expensive restaurant.“
“Great slices and great customer service. Might be the best crust in LA. I heard they use something like 27 different flours or something wild. Whatever it is, the attention to detail really shines through. You can tell it’s special just looking at it, but biting in, it’s obviously special. Incredible flavor throughout. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. I’m even tempted to try some of the vegan stuff ??♂️“
“Food good flavor, rich seasoningsService you have to ask for extra bread, waiters not very attentive because is to many customers for the amount of servers. Parking is validated but i didn’t know that and i had to pay. Theres no sign that parking has an assign parking garage. The atmosphere is nice.“
“We always love visiting Propaganda and this time was no different. The 4 Formaggi & Funghi is my new favorite pizza. This time we tried the boozy pandoro dessert and even 5 days later I'm still thinking of it. Can't wait to go back!“
“Before we went, I read the reviews to find out the largest complaints and prepare for them. But actually our experience was pretty much perfect. We didn’t have to wait much at all (15 min) when we arrived at 7pm on Saturday. This was lucky. The queue very quickly filled while we waited. Some reviews said hostesses were unfriendly—not true at all for us. Others didn’t enjoy their pizza. But we ordered the Sicilian and white pizzas and loved them. They were even good after they cooled down. You should expect a hefty pizza though! It’s not a thin crust pizza. Between two people we had two pizzas and the Caesar salad. This was the perfect amount of food. We also tried two non alcoholic beverages, a wine and a beer. The beer is shockingly good and you cannot tell it has no alcohol. Everyone we interacted with was friendly. The person at the counter who took our order stood out. He was communicative, accommodating, and welcoming. This is a place I am sure we will frequent ?We left around 9:30pm and there was a long line out the door of people waiting. Reservations are recommended.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options are available.“
“Went for dinner after seeing how busy it was from the outside. Ordered the white burrata pizza with parma ham and seasoned vegetables, and it was just so amazing. This pizza beats out some of the best pizzas I've had growing up in NYC and from many visits to Italy. The crust was perfect, and the combination of the ingredients is ingenious. The fish was also fresh, cooked, and seasoned well. Service was quick. It was on the pricy side for a casual meal, but I would definitely return for the pizza.“
“We were warmly greeted upon arrival. They serve delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. You must give it a try. The restaurant is clean and has a great atmosphere. They play light music in the background. The dishes are flavorful. The waiter was attentive. The owner checked in with us and thanked us for eating at his restaurant. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.Parking: The restaurant has parking in the back and there's also free street parking.“
“For starters, I’ve never been much of a wine drinker UNTIL I found this place and now I’m hooked. The owner Ian is the nicest guy. The service, the vibe, the FOOD, and of course the WINE are all soooo good. Great spot to hang with friends for a fun night. Especially in dtla!“
“If Italian restaurants in Italy can have a gluten free pasta option then so can Bacetti. Time to get with the 21st century. Other than that, the atmosphere was amazing, as was the wine by the glass selection. Don’t bother trying to find street parking though, go straight for the valet—I wasted 10 minutes thinking I’d find something. Gratuity of 20% is included in your bill but expect average LA service that will provide service at their convenience.“
“If your looking for good food, good atmosphere, great people, Stop what you doing and go.. The lines are out the door, The food is spectacular ?Sorry to all the sub restaurants ?Amazing ?down.Kid-friendliness: Great music, great atmosphere great smiles for childrenWheelchair accessibility: No steps.“
“Wow. Amazing in every way. High end pasta joint with delicious food. Everything we had had us licking our fingers. Love the aesthetics, love the wine and the service was pretty good. The vibe is perfect for a casual date night, it’s not super fancy and the food is aimed to please the foodies of LA. High end food low key hipster vibes. Open late for dinner service“
“Wonderful meal and service! This farm to table restaurant features an array of homemade Italian pasta dishes and other creative starters. Located in Old Town Pasadena, the quaint and casual eatery is a great place to enjoy a good meal with friends or family. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. The beet salad starter was creatively paired well with herbs and labneh, pistachios to bring out the best flavors. We also enjoyed homemade pasta dishes including the delicious squid ink pasta with just the right mix of lobster, truffle butter, lemon and fennel. The torchetti and stracciatella were other great options. Our meal left us comfortable and with enough room to enjoy a chocolate budino for dessert! Highly recommend Union whether you are visiting the Pasadena area or live in the area.“
“Delicious evening. Many extra courses in the tasting menu, lots of extra black truffles on many dishes. Both of the servers were super knowledgeable and friendly. The table next to us was a loud couple with a dude on his phone a lot and that was the single negative part of our evening. An amazing birthday experience. Thanks, guys!“
“Such a lovely place! My friend just moved to the neighborhood and we tried El Morfi out on his first night. So wonderful! The empanadas and sangria were particularly delicious. Though you really can't go wrong with anything you order. Definitely recommend!“
“If you're looking for that classic, old school family-style Italian dinner in LA, Donna's is the way to go. They have a lot of the classics like pasta Ragu, chicken Parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, veal picatta, etc. But they also bring a new age flare to some dishes like the lasagna Rollatini (think lasagna but instead of horizontal layers you get tight pinwheels of meaty, salty, cheesy goodness!) and fussili a la vodka with whipped ricotta. The restaurant itself does remind me of a Brooklyn-based Italian mom & pop restaurant with a checkerboard floor. It's a pretty small venue which is probably why it's so hard to get a reservation (you gotta book 1 - 2 weeks in advance at 10 AM on Rezy). This does make for a more intimate dining experience which is nice. We started with the garlic bread. Oh my god this was the best garlic bread I have ever had. The outer crust was so crisp and crunchy. Covered in parmigiano cheese. The inside was perfectly fluffy and so garlicky and buttery. I could not stop eating this bread I was genuinely considering ordering a second. Next we got the Caesar salad which was divine. Perfectly dressed with a fresh dressing and again served with tons of parmigiano. As a group of 3, we got 3 entrees in addition to those starters to share. We chose the chicken Parmesan, the lasagna Rollatini, and the pork ragu. The chicken parm was crunchy on the outside and loaded with cheese. The lasagna was fantastic, my only critique was that it was a pretty small dish but one bite of it was very rich. The pasta sheets were thin, arranged in pretty vertical pinwheels, and there was lots of meaty sauce in between all the layers. The pasta ragu was so good. Perfectly cooked al dente pasta topped with a rich pork ragu sauce. The service was great, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. My only critique was the dessert. The carrot cake was not moist and had a very citrusy flavor which was not what I was expecting. And the cannolis tasted stale. I would skip dessert but otherwise, enjoy a fantastic dinner at Donna's!“
“We had reservation around 7.45pm arrived early so while waiting outside you can order drinks from the bar so that helps.Food is excelent.Ambience is great, little loud inside but not obnoxious. Our server was super attentive. Would go back here again.Parking: Valet.Wheelchair accessibility: They have the mini elevator.“
“This is a retro yet super trendy neighborhood bar that offers strong craft cocktails and some Italian bar food bites. The drinks we tried were all super strong and tasty. The food is good as well but keep in mind that it's fairly small portions more meant as snacks. The atmosphere was top notch! It's pretty crowded even on weeknights, so you'll have to hover a bit to snag a stool or table at peak times. It's pretty loud and small so maybe not the best for groups.Parking: Try surrounding residential streets“
“They are very conscious of dietary restrictions and willing to do modifications if at all possible to accommodate. I can't have gluten or olive oil amongst other things they have done a great job accommodating me both times I have been so far. If the servers have any questions about safety, they make sure to check with the chef instead of brushing concerns off as I've seen other places do sometimes. They cook with care, passion, and love at Grano and make sure everyone feels like family! This has definitely become a new favorite in the area and I'm so glad I found it!Vegetarian options: Much of the menu is clearly marked vegetarian or vegan.Dietary restrictions: They are very conscious of dietary restrictions and willing to do modifications if at all possible to accommodate. “Absolutely amazing brunch! Highlights for our group were definitely the elote croissant, sweet potato ceviche and pancakes. Also, all the drinks were delicious (don’t miss out on the pistachio horchata!!) They were unfortunately sold out of the carbonara raviolo, but I guess that just means we’ll have to come back!“
“A small restaurant you would miss if you didn't look twice. Mila's is a lowkey gem of this wonderful city of Glendale. Firstly greeted as we walked in and my group and I already knew it was going to be a good experience. The cashier David was especially nice when choosing menu items as well. We ended up getting the BBQ Chicken and Smoked Bacon as well as some wings. The pizza is a New York style with the thin and crispy crust, they have perfected this style to the T. Both pizzas came out delicious and our group ended up finishing the whole thing. The wings also had a crispy outer layer and paired with the sauce. Loved everything here and will keep them in mind anytime Pizza is a craving of mine.“
“The welcoming was excellent by the manager and the flexibility to change from outdoor to indoor seating. The food was great. The steak was perfectly cooked and the octopus was tender and savory. The green beans were the exception to the excellence. They were too spicy and it tasted oddly. Manager made it right for us. Thank you!“
“Great deli, highly recommend. They are not open late, so you may have to get something to go. Lots of sandwiches, and other Italian food options. May want to phone in your order and save some time. No seating inside at the moment, no restrooms either. Parking, entrance, aisles and counter are accessible. Dedicated parking behind the building. If you have a date, stopping by to pick up stuff for a picnic is a great idea. Or my favorite, pick out a sandwich, bag of chips, and a hot item to split, you will have plenty to share. Then pick out each other's drink, and a cookie or two to share after your meal. Sharing food like this with a loved one can be really fun. They have a lot of interesting products for sale, could also pick out stuff to make a dinner later with. Even if you come alone, they will likely have something you will find appealing.Parking: Parking behind shop, should be plentyKid-friendliness: Should be able to find somethingWheelchair accessibility: Entrance, aisles, and counter are accessible.“
“The food was delicious! The pasta freshly made. The service was outstanding! They only charge a 16% fee to help the restaurant/staff, no tip. I felt it wasn’t enough so I wanted to also give a tip and was told no tip needed the check was closed. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“Our experience at The Factory Kitchen was amazing from start to finish. We were seated immediately, and servers were very attentive, quickly refilling drinks, clearing plates, and bringing new silverware for each course. Menus are printed daily, which we thought was a nice touch to make the experience even more special. The kitchen is open, so we were able to see fresh pasta being made, prosciutto being sliced, and food being cooked. The highlights of our meal were the Prosciutto, the Gnocchi Malfatti, and the Canoli.I will be sure to come back any time I find myself in the Los Angeles area, and will advise anyone I know traveling here to visit as well.Parking: There is valet parking right beside the restaurant. It runs $12 for dinner service, and $7 for lunch. There are a limited number of spots available for valet parking.“
“Malbec for the win!!! Great service...waiter was awesome...personable and making sure that we were always taken care of. Food came out quickly and was amazing! Finished dinner off with a delicious desert and the absolute best Old Fashions!!!“
“Michael is such an amazing server!! He was very friendly and helpful! It has been a while since I have had a server as good as himself! I have sent my family and friends here and recommended Michael as a server, and my family and friends feel the same way about him! He makes the experience so much more enjoyable! We need to see more of Michael around here!! (:“
“The atmosphere is great, youre not going to be disappointed there. Service was fantastic, they work together as a team to clear and get food out quickly. The calamari and rigatoni were enjoyable. Though the mushroom pasta did leave more to be desired, we look forward to dining in again.“
“Pizza was delicious! Especially the pesto mushroom one. We also had the KBBQ (award winning), which was good but I thought a little too sweet on the sauce. I expected more from the award-winning pizza. Maybe I had my hopes up too much though.“
“Was craving for a good italian sub and found this hidden gem near my work! Located across from the hospital. Parking was easy; street and parking lot behind the restaurant. Inside was filled with Italian goodies. They sold alcohol, cookies, bread, pasta, cheese, etc. Towards the back of the restaurant was tables to sit down and enjoy your sandwich. Came here for the 1st time with my coworker and we tried the Classic 6' sub with 2 sides. I got the macaroni salad and broccoli salad. The sides tasted ok to me but could be better. However, the sandwich was very tasty. I love how much meat and filling it was. I ate it all! We got a piece of tiramisu and that was very very good! The prices are affordable and the portions are huge. Definitely a place to go for lunch or anytime you are carving for a good Italian sandwich! *TIP: call to place your order if you are in a time crunch. We waited for 30 minutes for our food.“
“This restaurant is tucked away from the busy part of Little Tokyo. We walked in at 6:30pm on a Thursday and were seated immediately. We came here for the famous uni pasta and mentai japanese cream pasta. Both were creamy, rich, and filled with umami. The mentai japanese cream one was slightly more fishy than the uni one. Can we talk about the portion sizes? Each plate of pasta was huge! Great value for the price. All pastas come with complementary sad and bread. Save some of the bread to soak up all the pasta sauce!“
“Beautiful restaurant, elegant and upscale.... A wonderful evening of big band music! Definitely a classy night out and flashback to the 1930's. Food was excellent as well as the service. A bottle of wine for the table although my cousin had a martini that was incredible! Looking forward to experiencing another show....“
“First time here and I have to say, it’s pretty darn good!!! The antipasto salad was loaded with meat and cheese. The garlic bread is very tasty. I had the Chicken Marsala….. It was very good! Everyone was very pleased with their food. Looking forward to trying the pizza next, it looked delicious!!Parking: They have a small parking lot but we had no trouble finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn’t love spaghetti, pasta and pizza??!! Bring them, they will love it!“
“Great place, one of the best "chicago-style" deep pizzas you'll try around here. We got togo, it didn't come out as good after an hour. But you can tell that the ingredient quality is pretty good. If it still tasted good, I would've given 5 star. Great ambience as well.“
“Great dining restaurant experience. We had our wedding reception here at their grand room last 2017. I love their classic jazz live music, adds a romantic flair to the experience. You can dress up or be casual, either way, you’ll feel warm & special. Food is great and at reasonable price. Meal is about $20 & above. Great place to be!“
“I’ve been a regular at Michelangelo’s for many years…. I feel like I’m at my family’s kitchen every time I dine there. Pino and Tony are wonderful people and great hosts. I love seeing Mamma every time I dine there. The food is fantastic. I will be a customer for many years to come.“
“Authentic Italian dishes! The lasagna is excellent. You have to wait a few more mins cuz it's brought to you right out of the oven.. buts it's worth the wait! Yummy! Cozy place. Makes you feel right at home but with chef services. Love it!!Parking: Parking in front, west side and parking in rear.“
“This restaurant is amazing! The food is cooked as if it came from a tiny restaurant with an Italian nonna in the kitchen. The ingredients are fresh and the meals generous in size. The pizzas are HUGE! The minestrone has big sized veggies whose freshness you can taste in every bite. Every dish can feed you at least once, and there are plenty of choices such as pasta carbonara, chicken piccata, sandwiches, empanadas, salads, etc. We have only used outdoor seating and it was pouring rain the last time we went. They had prepared for that with large canopies and even offered dessert on the house. Desserts are hard to choose as each delicacy is mouth-watering. Offerings include a variety of gelato, cheesecake, a pistachio-based pastry, tiramisu, chocolate cookies, and cherry tarts, to name a few. Parking is a little bit of a challenge if you arrive late. There is street parking and some paid parking. You may want to park on Colorado as parking is free after 6pm. If you are a MAD magazine fan, you'll get a kick out if visiting this hole-in-the-wall, awesome restaurant!Vegetarian options: Salads, soups, risotto or pasta dishes.“
“Amazing pizza! Legit New York style. I pass by this place twice a week and finally decided to give it a try. Will be my regular pizza place from now on. Got the pepperoni and the Nico. Both were perfect!! I wish I had tried it a long time ago.“
“Great food, basic but attentive service. We ordered a large steak for him and vegetarian pasta for me, ordered margaritas and got away with a bill under $125, with plenty of leftovers. Atmosphere is ok, depending on the day. Sometimes a bit crowded and noisy feeling - mid scale. Children welcome. Make reservations and request a booth to minimize the noise. All in all, the food and price are well worth it. Our go to spot for Valentine's Day the last 3 years running!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pasta options available, salad options, but pretty typical meat and seafood Italian menu.Kid-friendliness: Always kids in there when I go.“
“The food at Brera makes your taste buds sing! I know it's corny, but it's true. Their green salad has this light dressing that is so refreshing. The prosciutto pizza was to die for. My boyfriend had the Papatelle and I had the Nettle Pasta with walnut. We walked out full with smiles in our face. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. It was outstanding!! Oh, and the drinks are strong and good!“
“Super friendly employees. I had a big order for my husbands birthday and it was ready really quickly. We had a XL pepperoni and my family loved how fluffy the crust was and how cheese it was. We also had the potatoes and some wings. Potatoes weren't too crispy nor soggy. They were made perfect for little kids. The wings were crispy and had a lot of sauce so they weren't dry. Highly recommend this place.“
“I definitely recommend making a pitstop here when that pizza craving hits. Coming from the East Coast, I have high pizza standards, and the Big Kahuna with honey drizzle blew me away. And to top it off, the service was exceptional. Big thanks to the team!“
“The food was great!!! What really stood out was the service. I asked our waiter for recommendations based on our dietary restrictions, limited appetite, and wanting a good representation of Argentinean food. He recommended a couple of empanadas, a couple of sausages, and a main dish for my date and I to share. Needless to say, both my date and I were impressed. If I'm in the area again, I'll be sure to be back.Dietary restrictions: Lactose intolerant“
“Delicious food and amazing service! Our server was such an attentive, kind, and friendly guy - I had called to see the wait for a party of 3 at 8 PM on a Friday night, no wait! He was very reassuring even when we were chatting and eating near closing time, we didn't feel rushed to leave which was nice! Shared 3 things - everything was yummy! 1) the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken 2) California salad (the candied pecans slap) 3) margarita pizza (so flavorful) And it came with complimentary garlic bread! Place was spacious, played jazz music, and the restroom was clean! Everything was yum, would recommend - especially on this busy block of restaurants with long wait times, check this place out!“
“Upon seeing the monstrous wood fired oven, you know you are in for a serious pizza. We had proscuito and calebrese on one pizza we ordered. Tremendous. Beautiful color, chew and char on a crust that proofs for 36 hours. Thin enough to fold, but sturdy enough to hold up the toppings. So much flavor comes through from the fire and smoke of the oven. You can tell the dude man who was running the front of the house has serious love for the place. Very sincere, very authentic. This is not a whatever pizza joint. Its one of those restaraunts that is more than the sum of its parts. This place has vision and heart and you see it, feel it and taste it.“
“We love the food and the couple that owns the restaurant. They are friendly hard working people.Parking: The parking is in the back. They have about 3 or 4 spots available. But there is free street parking in the front and a free parking lot that is walking distance with plenty of parking spots available usually.Kid-friendliness: They are kid and family friendly. Our kids love the farfalle pasta, and our waitress.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp from the parking lot to the restaurant, great for wheelchairs and strollers. They have enough space in the restaurant to fit with a stroller without being an inconvenience to others.“
