“Staff were very friendly and patient. The mozzarella sticks were solid, however the star of the show was the BBQ chicken pizza. The BBQ sauce used instead of marinara which is much better than getting a drizzling on top, large chunks of chicken and good amount of onion. Overall solid pizza choice if you are in the area.“
“Nice neighborhood Italian deli and fast casual restaurant. Really missed the original Lascari's on Whittier Blvd so we gave this deli location a try. Was surprised at the pasta and pizza options. The pasta dishes and chicken piccata were all pretty good. The minestrone soup is excellent. Pizza was also delicious. Large selection at the Deli. Great local place for a quick bite with reasonable prices.“
“I met my Best friend from College here after hearing about Amore Pizza, he and I were so impressed with Kelly (Owner) and her hospitality. The food and Brews were flowing and when we got the bill it was well worth the price which wasn't a major dent in our wallet's. The Pizza ingredients and service are Top Notch!!!“
“THIS PLACE IS A MUST SEE. The ambiance of this place is amazing and the reconstruction was done to perfection. I specifically ordered and loved the Pappardelle! It was prepared at our table by Robbie who was so awesome and gave us a detailed description of the whole experience. It was dinner and a show in Whittier!! Amazing!! Brandy was also the best server. I definitely recommend this place to any one looking to have great food and amazing service. I can't recommend this place enough.“
“My wife and I were both working on Valentine's Day, so we planned a dinner date on Friday instead! I reserved us for 5pm and it was not busy inside at all which was nice. Our waiter's name was Brandy, and she was such a delight! She talked to us as if she had known us for years! We don't drink alcohol but brandy recommended options for mocktails, which were amazing. I remember one being melon flavored, and I recommend that one. We ordered some fried mozzarella, and I will say that I am never getting any other mozzarella sticks again lol My wife got the Fettuccine Alfredo, and I ordered the Spaghetti with Wagyu Meatballs. My wife said, "this is how Italian is supposed to taste like". For dessert we ordered some cheesecake, which was delicious and light. I give this restaurant a 10/10, I would definitely go back for special occasions and to just treat my wife. Keep in mind, entree plates will cost you around $20 and up. I wouldn't say this is a casual place to eat out at, but I recommend trying it and making that decision yourself. Who knows, maybe you'll really like it and come back every week! Hahaha“
“I really liked this place. Stayed across the street at the Doubltree and saw this place. Service was great. Atmosphere was excellent. It was cold tonight, but the patio was amazing. Oh, the food, very tasty. The bread and olive oil were so good. The Cesar was good too. The linguine pescatore was excellent. I will come back when I am in town next.“
“Rude hostess, I mentioned that there was no paper towels in the bathroom, she replied that I should look around before I complained , in our way out, a hostess was arguing with some patrons. Great waiter, salad was great, the salmon was dry and the broccoli just plain. I still like Olive Garden, no matter what !!“
“The best Italian food I have ever had! I really like the mixed seafood Italian style pasta. The Service has gotten much better, and the desserts ?are good to! I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice lunch with the family or a romantic dinner with your ? date. If you go for Valentine's day ? I highly recommend a reservation.“
“the wife and i had Valentine's dinner at Marino's Italian Restaurant. the service was friendly and quick.the food was yummy, and we even had some left over for lunch the next day.we will definitely come back when we want good italian food in the bellflower area.“
“This little restaurant situated in the corner of a strip mall is an absolute revelation. It's an unbelievable addition to the area and a must try. We started by ordering a tray of their chipotle chicken fettuccine. It will ruin you for all other places that offer a version of chicken fettuccine. It's beyond good. The chipotle sauce is creamy and has a nice subtle kick. The chicken is grilled perfectly and yet stays moist. The pasta itself has the perfect bite to it. I can't say enough. It's that good. Next up we tried the Italian chopped salad. The salad had no business being that good. I hate salads and this salad converted me instantly. The greens were crispy and fresh and the dressing was to die for. This is one salad you will not regret ordering. We came back the next day and ordered the lasagna. This lasagna does not belong in a restaurant without Michelin stars. It was layer upon layer of cheesy awesomeness with a delicate marinara sauce in between. I can't wait for the day where you can taste pictures because this lasagna blew our mind. We are fat boys so we had to give the Meat Lovers pizza a try. There are no words. The dough has a perfect texture and the cheese melts so good. The toppings were generous and you had a bite of something meaty in every bite. Last, but not least, the bread. We tried the regular bread rolls but there was nothing regular about them. Absolutely fluffy pillows of goodness that were good by themselves or great with any of our pasta dishes. We also had the garlic bread which was maybe the only pedestrian thing about our meal. I prefer my garlic bread a bit more buttered but held up well to the sauces. Finally, the bruschetta. Crispy toast with the freshest tomatoes and dressing. A must have if you have the room. Don't sleep on this spot. It's worth the visit from literally anywhere.“
“The food was absolutely perfect. We went for lunch, and brought a two year old. They brought delicious garlic bread to the table, of which the two year old ate three huge pieces before we had even ordered. We ended up ordering off the regular menu instead of the lunch menu. I had the clams with linguine in a white wine sauce. And a house salad with the dressing on the side. My mother had the world famous lasagna. Everything was Totally delicious. The service was charming and friendly. The walls are covered in posters and photographs of mafia movies. The wall that surrounds the kitchen is lined with Chianti bottles. We took a slice of the house made tiramisu home with us because the two year old had exhausted her restaurant charm, and was ready to go. We happily split the tiramisu three ways. What a lovely lunch.“
“Haven't been to Bruno's in awhile. The fresh bread and dipping sauce was really good. I ordered a Negroni and it was made perfectly! My husband had the Cioppino and added pasta to it. He loved it! I ordered off the restaurant week menu — butternut squash soup, rigatoni in Alfredo sauce with prosciutto and mushrooms and pancetta for dessert. Loved everything! We'll definitely start coming here more often.“
“It's not the best but very good pizzaFuoco pizza tastes better than the fungi pizza. But if you have a chance to go to the city of the mountain view near San Jose. Try Doppio Zero pizza. And they don't know how to make real cafe Latte. Don't order that.“
“Was craving for a good italian sub and found this hidden gem near my work! Located across from the hospital. Parking was easy; street and parking lot behind the restaurant. Inside was filled with Italian goodies. They sold alcohol, cookies, bread, pasta, cheese, etc. Towards the back of the restaurant was tables to sit down and enjoy your sandwich. Came here for the 1st time with my coworker and we tried the Classic 6' sub with 2 sides. I got the macaroni salad and broccoli salad. The sides tasted ok to me but could be better. However, the sandwich was very tasty. I love how much meat and filling it was. I ate it all! We got a piece of tiramisu and that was very very good! The prices are affordable and the portions are huge. Definitely a place to go for lunch or anytime you are carving for a good Italian sandwich! *TIP: call to place your order if you are in a time crunch. We waited for 30 minutes for our food.“
“First time here and I have to say, it’s pretty darn good!!! The antipasto salad was loaded with meat and cheese. The garlic bread is very tasty. I had the Chicken Marsala….. It was very good! Everyone was very pleased with their food. Looking forward to trying the pizza next, it looked delicious!!Parking: They have a small parking lot but we had no trouble finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn’t love spaghetti, pasta and pizza??!! Bring them, they will love it!“
“This is a great place to get some Italian food. The inside is comfortable and the lighting is perfect for a date night. The most important thing I would say is to get here early. This place gets full quickly. They open for a limited amount of hours. The service is always great, the wait staff is courteous, patient, and helpful.“
“One of the best Italian restaurant. One of Orange County’s hidden gem. Delicious Italian food, Good service and beautiful restaurant. We love it!!! I highly recommend them. My favorites are their bread, fettuccini Alfredo and best spaghetti bolognese . They also give you generous proportion. Really must try!!!Vegetarian options: There’s vegetarian choicesKid-friendliness: Kids will love the food“
“SOLID pasta. Had the parpadelle vodka on my most recent visit but had others in the past and they were all great. I wouldn't mind if the prosciutto with the parpadelle wasnt crispy. The tables are quite small and you have to be ok with dining close quarters. Service was adequate and friendly. Wish they had a couple beers on tap but didnt take away much from the dining experience“
“Took my girlfriend out for dinner, at first I didn't know if it was the same Ricci's that I visited when I first moved out here from New York, the place is new and beautiful it reminds me of NY & NJ Italian restaurants, this restaurant is awesome food's great also the service, well I'm Italian so it feels like I'm at home, molto romantico e il cibo italiano è il miglior cibo da mangiare ad un appuntamento, con tanto amore che Dio benedica,??“
“Super friendly employees. I had a big order for my husbands birthday and it was ready really quickly. We had a XL pepperoni and my family loved how fluffy the crust was and how cheese it was. We also had the potatoes and some wings. Potatoes weren't too crispy nor soggy. They were made perfect for little kids. The wings were crispy and had a lot of sauce so they weren't dry. Highly recommend this place.“
“We went here for a friend's B/D lunch. It's a good thing we were there early, it got very busy as the middle of the day moved along. I had a traditional Gyro with Lamb (it's not on the menu, just ask for it) and my husband had a grilled chicken sandwich. They were both delicious. The olive dip was fantastic also. We will have to go back to taste more.“
“Amazing dinner experience. Service: attentive, never had to ask for a refill on beverages and water, cleared dishes every quickly. Servers were very friendly. Food: We got 2 appetizers. 1. calamari was cooked perfectly and tasted great. 2. Caprese salad was huge and so fresh. The mozzarella cheese was yummy. We got the chicken picatta and chicken Marsala for dinner- the tenderest juiciest chicken ever. You didn't need a knife to cut the chicken. Can't wait to come back!“
“So so glad I got around to trying this place out, the pastas are SO GOOD!! We tried the mentaiko and the squid ink pasta - the flavor profile for both was perfect and the noodles were cooked al dente! The portion size was just right too. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu“
“Upon seeing the monstrous wood fired oven, you know you are in for a serious pizza. We had proscuito and calebrese on one pizza we ordered. Tremendous. Beautiful color, chew and char on a crust that proofs for 36 hours. Thin enough to fold, but sturdy enough to hold up the toppings. So much flavor comes through from the fire and smoke of the oven. You can tell the dude man who was running the front of the house has serious love for the place. Very sincere, very authentic. This is not a whatever pizza joint. Its one of those restaraunts that is more than the sum of its parts. This place has vision and heart and you see it, feel it and taste it.“
“AWESOME PIZZA!!!I'm blown away by the quality of your pizza. I ordered the Medium Veggie and boy was I blown away by the quality of the pizza. To start with the dough is hand spun, making it nice and fluffy but not doughy like many others. Crust and undercarriage was crispy not greasy and cooked perfectly. The sauce was perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Plenty of vegetables and perfectly balanced cheese. If you are looking for a great pizza this is definitely the place. I am a tough person to satisfy when it comes to pizza but this place gets two thumbs up! I'll definitely be back. Also the service is friendly. This place is a hidden gem, so many small pizza places are dissappearing because people settle for cheap, disgusting pizza. I am happy to discover this place! Keep up the great job! Good luck!“
“I love the Pizza Oven. All of their food is good and their service goes over and beyond. My family comes here a lot and they never disappoint. But recently I decided to have them cater at banquet for me. They were helpful making sure I had enough food for everyone gave me a price ahead of time, so I know exactly how much I needed that day. On the day, our car couldn't fit everything and both owners helped us by bringing whatever didn't fit to our location. Everyone at our event, love the food and even took plates to go. Thank you pizza oven for being so kind and helpful. You have made lifelong customers out of us.“
“Love the food at Rutabegorz! They have such a huge and eclectic menu and a handful of gluten free options, including gluten free pasta!Parking: There are parking stops on the street in front of the restaurant and the surrounding streets. There's also free parking garage a short walk away.“
“We love the food and the couple that owns the restaurant. They are friendly hard working people.Parking: The parking is in the back. They have about 3 or 4 spots available. But there is free street parking in the front and a free parking lot that is walking distance with plenty of parking spots available usually.Kid-friendliness: They are kid and family friendly. Our kids love the farfalle pasta, and our waitress.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp from the parking lot to the restaurant, great for wheelchairs and strollers. They have enough space in the restaurant to fit with a stroller without being an inconvenience to others.“
“We had an absolute PERFECT evening...This was the true French dining experience. No rushing, we had the table for the night. Food was amazing. Our servers were charming and funny... We had a party of 10 and it felt like a little café in France just for us.“
“Tucked away in the back corner of a strip mall in Hacienda Heights. This neighborhood gem Italian deli doesn't occupy a large space, but the space feels really efficient with a full service deli on one side and the other side having a place to order sandwiches/ prepared Italian foods with an area to sit. Like most Italian delis I've been to, this place sells a decent variety of market/ dry goods well. The prices here for the foods/ goods are more than reasonable and the overall place has that old school feel or at least the feel that this place has been here for quite a while. Came here on a rec from a coworker. Not sure if I was super hungry at the time, but I walked in greeted by friendly people and delicious smells coming from their hot dishes/ pastas. I ordered the Italian Grinder Sandwich (6 inch or regular size). Again, not sure if I was just particularly hungry at the time, but this sandwich was so fricken great. It had the classic Italian sub flavor profile and I though the bread they used was fantastic. Nice, soft and chewy with a nice firmness/crunch on the outside. The sandwich was more than enough. I actually was really tempted to buy some of the prepared pasta dishes to go for dinner (lasagna or baked rigatoni). Definitely would love to comeback to try some of my other classic fave sandwiches like chicken or eggplant parm. Or their Tuesday Guido sandwich special or pastrami sandwich. Parking was really easy to find because there is a pretty sizable lot relative to the traffic this place gets during the day.“
“RCP FTW! Brian is the most down to earth pizza shop owner you will meet. His crew's creation for different pizzas are limitless. Stay for the pie while you browse around at their artwork on the walls from local artists.Parking: Lots of parking“
“Best pizza I've had in a long time, I also love getting the pasta dishes, literally chefs kiss! This is a nice place to have a family meal when you don't feel like cooking and want good pizza, It's a pretty chill vibe. The service is always great with friendly people, will never get tired of eating here.“
“Got introduced to this place by a friend that's local to it. The pizza here is fantastic. This spot is #2 for my Top 3 pizza spots in SoCal. I drive out from Riverside to get pies from this spot. Staff is friendly. Have patience as it's a small kitchen doing all the cooking, but the wait will be worth it. There's a reason it's always busy.“
“This place you have to go on a sunny day patio sit downs only. Parking can be tricky but walk if you need to. I’ve enjoyed this pizza during lunch time lunch prices and it’s worth! I grabbed the mushroom jalapeno and the pepperoni ?. My favorites the crust is to crisp on maybe two isn’t enough at times that’s how good it is. It’s about regular size slices. I came to visit so I wasn’t able to enjoy anything else in the menu but worth it.“
“Very good food. I had the eggplant Parmesan, and it did not disappoint. It was very good and I would order it again. The side salad was excellent; very tasty and flavorful. The garlic cheese bread was excellent, fresh and warm. My buddy had the meatball spaghetti and he said it was very good. I ordered medium cheese pizza to take home; fresh and delicious. Also, the size was more like an extra large and a medium. And dessert was very good, I got the ice cream. The average plate is about $20 but it’s worth it. I would definitely go back for another meal.Parking: Free parking, but not a lot of parking spaces.“
“This is my go to place for their amazing salad. Their pizza is amazing also. I am sad that they close their doors for indoor eating. This was always my place to go to eat one. I went to Kaiser Permanente in Baldwin Park. Wish they would open their indoor seating again.“
“This place is amazing the sandwiches are delicious. “I love the chicken Parmesan sandwich personally “. The cannolis are great, Wine prices are reasonable and really good selection,. The customer service is outstanding, all the individuals are very sweet and kind. I Highly recommend this hidden gem, The food is a true Italian experience.“
“First time here. Found this gem off Yelp and it did not disappoint! The owner knows how to serve delicious food! I was craving breakfast and my French toast combo was excellent! My son had the crispy chicken waffle sandwich and it looked great and he said it was really good. My daughter in love had the biscuits and gravy and I tried it as well -so flavorful!!! So do yourselves a favor and pay patronage to this local establishment! For those that remember the movie "Blood in, Blood out" he has a lot of movie memorabilia as decor so that was pretty cool as well!“
“If you are a pasta lover you will love this place, the food and drinks are at a very good price, pleasant atmosphere, the only thing I must add is that if you are going to celebrate a special occasion, make a reservation if your party includes more than 5 people so you don't wait too long.“
“Service was great! Both of the staff helping us were very sweet and genuine. They seemed happy to serve us and answer any of my questions. It was mellow when we came and has a relaxing vibe. Love what they have done with the decor, though the outside patio could use more attention.I would love if they had a more extensive dessert menu and hope they add some nice dessert selections. I think this would be wonderful since they also advertise themselves as a cafe. It is a fairly down to earth restaurant.“
“Garlic bread is a must!Service is slow but the staff is super nice. They are very chill when serving tables. It's a good place to go if you're not in a rush and just want relax and enjoy your conversation with friends.Food is 4 star overall.“
“Delicious little pizza spot in La Habra. They have delishes pastas, pizzas, salads, and entrées worth checking out. I highly suggest checking it out and asking for extra sauce to enjoy the delicious crust they make. We enjoyed Vinny's Deluxe Pizza with a side of soup and salad. Very delish!“
“Our dining experience at this Italian restaurant was nothing short of exquisite. Every plate we ordered delivered a burst of delightful flavors, from the heavenly pizza to the savory lasagna. The culinary expertise showcased in each dish truly made it a taste of heaven. Not only did the food impress, but the restaurant itself was impeccably clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly, adding a personal touch to our visit. Their hospitality enhanced the overall enjoyment of our meal.We will be returning soon!“
“Loved it! Best hidden place because everything is good. Food (Mash Pototo), drinks(Medori Daiquiri, not to mention desserts. Try the Strawberry cake...this is a must have. The Tres-lech cake is good too. Chill atmosphere as well...will not disappoint.“
“I placed my order online. Not knowing i made a huge mistake on the toppings. Someone from Papa Pizza was kind enough to call me and ask me if it was correct. I really appreciated that.We were off to a great start. My orderXL Pepperoni Pizza - 10/10Onion Rings - 8/10Garlic Bread - 8.5/10Cajun Fries - 10/10This was my first time visiting here.I cannot wait to go back.Thank you for the A+ service.“
“The food here is great- spinach ravioli with pink sauce, a side salad, and garlic bread hit the spot for real, served by people who really care, and enjoy the food as much as you do. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much. The environment is lovely and it's small, but warm, which is often times hard to do. Finding good Italian that is high quality and not too expensive is a feat, but Genoveses does the job.“
“At the moment you come to this restaurant the waiters give you a great feeling. Very congenial team, it is a good restaurant to enjoy with buddies or with your date. delightful cooking, specialist chief cook and stuff, honest price and attentive service. Warmly recommended.“
“Went to Giovanni's to celebrate my wife's birthday. Decided to keep it local and came here for the 1st time. We really enjoyed the food and service here, the lobster ravioli was delicious, the clam linguine was good too! Our server was great and the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. If your in downtown Covina this place is a gem. Definitely recommend Giovanni's for a nice dinner. Btw the cocktails were ??“
“My family & I used to come here every so often throughout the years when I was a kid. I’ve also been here, here & there as an adult but hadn’t been here in years since I don’t live near the area anymore. Anyway, recently I had their Di Pilla’s Special Pizza & it was still pretty good like it was years ago but a little different than before?. I’ve also had their Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken & their simple fresh baked bread as well as their Lasagna in the past which were all really good?. This is a family owned restaurant that’s been around for years & passed on generation after generation.“
“A small family owned Italian restaurant that serves great food. Our waitress was also great, very attentive and friendly. If your in Whittier, this should be one of your go to restaurants. If your in the area, stop on by, you wont be disappointed.“
