I have to go back to try some other items like the chicken parm plate, but if the pizza is a sign of the food quality and taste, then I'm looking forward to it.“

“My boyfriend and I tried a sausage and pepperoni New York style pizza, fries, and a slice of cheesecake. The pizza was delicious- the sauce was fresh and the crust was flavorful, especially with the Italian seasoning. The fries were also fresh and the cheesecake was amazing! The atmosphere was incredible- Andy served us and we immediately felt like we walked into a family Sunday dinner. Andy joked with us and told us a little bit about the history of the restaurant. We left feeling full and will definitely be back!“

“Where do I begin? The reception by the lovely group of charismatic hostesses... Our amazing waiter Gregory?…The warm greeting from manager, Josh? It was all an overwhelming dining experience from start to finish.A round of Prosecco followed by a Rosso pizza was a complete surprise The occasion was my mother’s birthday (which I never disclosed to them), and she has never felt so well taken care of in her 75 years! The lamb chops perfectly cooked over fire, hefty salad perfectly seasoned and dressed, fresh pastas perfectly timed and desserts to die for. When the smoke cleared and we were ready to go, mom and pops insisted on finding Josh for a big hug and warm thank you. This post/ review is a late one as Josh is no longer there, but I’d like to express how thankful we were and give the restaurant and team the best review we can. We have been back since and our experience has been the same!!! Thanks a million, Mateo and Dania“

“Food was amazing! The service was bad! Very expensive but I expected to be better taken care of. They were fully staffed but no one seemed to be working efficiently. We were 8 and none of the food runners ever knew who ordered what. They had to ask on every plate they brought. Not just our table but others as well. I don’t know if they have busboys as our table was never cleared. Plates upon plate stacked up. No one asked if we wanted a second drink and the glasses were never picked up. When we ordered dessert we had to move the 16 empty drink and water glasses to one side, gather the bread plates, wipe everything down and wait for our desserts. It was a busy night but not too busy for bad service. I kinda expected more than diner service at such an expensive restaurant.“

Whatever it is, the attention to detail really shines through. You can tell it’s special just looking at it, but biting in, it’s obviously special. Incredible flavor throughout. I'd call the food 3.5 based on the price, maybe a 4 star if it were a little less expensive.then i got to the ice cream and holy smokes was it worth the whole trip. the honey comb especially; i would come back just for that. the dessert and the service bring this place up to a 5 star. i have to commend the creativity of the menu as well, especially the pastas which i probably should have ordered. they had rabbit or quail on pasta shapes you don't see anywhere else.space is beautiful but cramped; if they can keep drawing crowds consistently, a bigger dining room might be in order.“

“If you're looking for that classic, old school family-style Italian dinner in LA, Donna's is the way to go. They have a lot of the classics like pasta Ragu, chicken Parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, veal picatta, etc. But they also bring a new age flare to some dishes like the lasagna Rollatini (think lasagna but instead of horizontal layers you get tight pinwheels of meaty, salty, cheesy goodness!) and fussili a la vodka with whipped ricotta. The restaurant itself does remind me of a Brooklyn-based Italian mom & pop restaurant with a checkerboard floor. It's a pretty small venue which is probably why it's so hard to get a reservation (you gotta book 1 - 2 weeks in advance at 10 AM on Rezy). This does make for a more intimate dining experience which is nice. We started with the garlic bread. Oh my god this was the best garlic bread I have ever had. The outer crust was so crisp and crunchy. Covered in parmigiano cheese. The inside was perfectly fluffy and so garlicky and buttery. I could not stop eating this bread I was genuinely considering ordering a second. Next we got the Caesar salad which was divine. Perfectly dressed with a fresh dressing and again served with tons of parmigiano. As a group of 3, we got 3 entrees in addition to those starters to share. We chose the chicken Parmesan, the lasagna Rollatini, and the pork ragu. The chicken parm was crunchy on the outside and loaded with cheese. The lasagna was fantastic, my only critique was that it was a pretty small dish but one bite of it was very rich. The pasta sheets were thin, arranged in pretty vertical pinwheels, and there was lots of meaty sauce in between all the layers. The pasta ragu was so good. Perfectly cooked al dente pasta topped with a rich pork ragu sauce. The service was great, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. My only critique was the dessert. The carrot cake was not moist and had a very citrusy flavor which was not what I was expecting. And the cannolis tasted stale. I would skip dessert but otherwise, enjoy a fantastic dinner at Donna's!“

My partner and I recently indulged in a late-night adventure at this vibrant establishment, and we were thoroughly impressed. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the lively beats of Brazilian music, instantly transporting us to the streets of Rio. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with warm décor adding to the immersive experience. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the cocktails. Each drink was meticulously crafted with quality ingredients, perfectly capturing the essence of Brazilian flavors. Whether it was the classic caipirinha or one of their signature creations, every sip was a delight for the senses. As the night progressed, the bartender recommended we try Brazilian fernet, and we're glad we did. It was a bold and flavorful choice that left a lasting impression, showcasing the bar's dedication to offering unique and authentic experiences.Overall, Nossa Caipirinha Bar exceeded our expectations, delivering not only exceptional drinks but also a memorable cultural journey. “Absolutely one of the best Italian restaurants (if not the best) in LA. Not a “scene”...just a beautiful, traditional environment that feels very upper east side NYC. Unbelievably delicious food and the service was out of this world. Definitely a little pricey (similar to NYC prices) but worth it, in my opinion. No “influencers”, no “wannabes”, just fine dining with fine people. Will be back again next time I'm on the west coast and will recommend to all of my family and friends. We were there on Saturday night so it was a little bit noisy but that would be my only issue - if u would even call it that. Personally, I like a restaurant to have atmosphere and a little life. But if u want a quiet evening, I'm guessing don't go on a Saturday night. But I loved it. Thanks for a wonderful evening.“

We had the Wood Oven Roasted Eggs, their incredible House-made Grilled Italian Sausage, Farmers Market Fruit Plate, and Pablo, who gave us great service, recommended the House-made Strozzapreti Pasta with Mushroom Bolognese (which can be ordered Vegan with Nutritional Yeast instead of the Grana Padano) and it was out of this world. We all had the Ricotta Cheese & Fresh Blueberry Pancakes, some of the best I've ever had anywhere. We sat outside which is lovely, it was cool out, but they had ample heating, and the outside chairs are extremely comfortable, not like those terribly uncomfortable metal chairs and stools that you see almost everywhere around the country, including and especially, LA. I love the old-world feel of the inside as well, but it was so beautiful outside today. “I had two prior visits and I have always ordered the same thing, a Margherita Pizza. The first two times the pizza was the best pizza I've had in the Glendale area. The third time I was disappointed. The pizza looked more like your typical local pizza shop cheese pizza. Too much mozzarella cheese. It was smothered with cheese. I believe a true Margherita pizza should have blotches of mozzarella cheese with a basil leaf in the middle of the blotch of cheese. The Margherita pizza colors are suppose to represent the colors of the Italian flag. Unfortunately this one was white and green. Couldn't see the red sauce because...well, you know why. Too much cheese!I will say that the pizza crust is still my favorite. I will return, but next time I'll just have to tell them specifically how I want my pizza made.“

“Three generations of our family have been going here since the 1970s. The food is delicious. With your entree you get soup and salad. I got the scampi which is always good. The ice cream, spumoni, is a must. It's authentic. The atmosphere is lovely and just perfect for this restaurant. My dinner party had manicotti which was good. Prices are reasonable and we took leftovers home. Highly recommend .Parking: We got the street parking. The lot is quite small.Kid-friendliness: There is a kid's entree.“

“Pizza was delicious! Especially the pesto mushroom one. We also had the KBBQ (award winning), which was good but I thought a little too sweet on the sauce. I expected more from the award-winning pizza. Maybe I had my hopes up too much though.“

“On Friday 08 Mar, Bryan greeted me and my family with open arms and with a big Kool-Aid smile. ?Bryan was very informative of all the wines (Sweet n Dry), he pointed out a sweet wine from Portugal, of which they were promoting at the front entrance. My family and I were pleased with his recommendation because the following day at our baby shower everyone loved it.Bryan congratulated me and my family of our beautiful blessing, because my pregnant fiancé was with me that day. That morning we picked up my fiancé sister from LAX and we decided to stop by for breakfast. And it was a pleasant experience because the breakfast staff greeted us with a smile… a special shout out to Martín! Because he made sure we had everything at our table in a timely manner, and most importantly checked up on us throughout our meal.Funny thing is, when we arrived I really didn’t pay attention to his name tag until after we ate, and we started gathering bottles for the baby shower. It was then I realize… That’s the name my fiancé and I agreed to name our son… Bryan.Once I told Bryan he was very happy for us and bagged our bottles to go.Oh by the way, the breakfast was delicious, we order steak and eggs, French, toast, and eggs, and chicken strips and fries for the kids.“

“Delicious food and amazing service! Our server was such an attentive, kind, and friendly guy - I had called to see the wait for a party of 3 at 8 PM on a Friday night, no wait! He was very reassuring even when we were chatting and eating near closing time, we didn't feel rushed to leave which was nice! Shared 3 things - everything was yummy! 1) the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken 2) California salad (the candied pecans slap) 3) margarita pizza (so flavorful) And it came with complimentary garlic bread! Place was spacious, played jazz music, and the restroom was clean! Everything was yum, would recommend - especially on this busy block of restaurants with long wait times, check this place out!“

“All'Aqua was truly enjoyable tonight. I wanted to try a little of everything tonight and will definitely be back to try more dishes. We were treated very well!! The bread was wonderful and the calamari was crunchy and fresh. It was quaint and sort of smelled like an Italian restaurant in Italy which really made me happy. I ordered a Milanese and I thought it was really delicious with a lightly dressed arugula salad for a bit of contrast and to add a bit of freshness. This little restaurant is a must try. I am looking forward to trying other things...perhaps try their pasta or pizza. My only regret was not sitting outside. I am happy I finally tried this quaint Italian eatery.“

“This restaurant is amazing! The food is cooked as if it came from a tiny restaurant with an Italian nonna in the kitchen. The ingredients are fresh and the meals generous in size. The pizzas are HUGE! The minestrone has big sized veggies whose freshness you can taste in every bite. Every dish can feed you at least once, and there are plenty of choices such as pasta carbonara, chicken piccata, sandwiches, empanadas, salads, etc. We have only used outdoor seating and it was pouring rain the last time we went. They had prepared for that with large canopies and even offered dessert on the house. Desserts are hard to choose as each delicacy is mouth-watering. Offerings include a variety of gelato, cheesecake, a pistachio-based pastry, tiramisu, chocolate cookies, and cherry tarts, to name a few. Parking is a little bit of a challenge if you arrive late. There is street parking and some paid parking. You may want to park on Colorado as parking is free after 6pm. If you are a MAD magazine fan, you'll get a kick out if visiting this hole-in-the-wall, awesome restaurant!Vegetarian options: Salads, soups, risotto or pasta dishes.“
