Best kept secret in Hollywood. Dining here is such an intimate and well curated experience. Every dish is carefully crafted and the service is wonderful.
What an incredible place, it truly stole our hearts! Da Barbara is a tiny, cozy little spot where you feel like you're visiting close friends. Barbara cooks everything herself with so much love and warmth, it's impossible not to fall for it. The meatballs, Short Ribs, Tortelli and Burrata were just magical, and the panna cotta was so delicate, a perfect way to end the night. The restaurant has a cozy home vibe, making guests feel welcomed and as if they are dining in a proper Italian home. The chef pours her heart and soul into every dish, cooking right in front of the guests and turning each meal into a personal experience. Everything is homemade, traditional, and full of flavor, made with top quality, authentic Italian ingredients and clear love.
The service is fantastic, very attentive, and thoughtful, with the whole team dedicated to making guests feel cared for. It is a warm and whimsical experience that defines genuine hospitality. Guests highly recommend trying the pasta specials and as many dishes as possible. It is recommended to book ahead, as the experience is absolutely worth it. While not a budget spot, every bite justifies the price. An added bonus is that guests can bring their own wine without a corkage fee.
