this place is such a hidden gem and should not be overlooked!! the appearance is perhaps a touch generic- if chic- but Da Michele is an off shoot of a restaurant in Naples, Italy, the birthplace of pizza. I have eaten at the original many times with my fiance whose family is Neopolitan. There are so many pizzas to love in LA and plenty of riffs and variations worth trying but if you want the OG margherita the way its supposed to be done, come here !! Also the pasta is fantastic.
