“Food is good. Atmosphere is great ? But the parking is something else. It's very small and if there's no parking whatsoever you'd have to park somewhere else and it's not easy to find parking there at all. This restaurant is very pricey. A little expensive for someone/families who are on a budget.“
“Food is superb. Portions are generous. The italian grocery is lovely! Takeout dinner for us, medium mushroom pizza and two orders of meat sauce lasagna was $43. For us, thats alot of money; however it made 3 lovely full meals for two hungry adults so that shows it is very reasonable.“
“I went with my family to MA's and I was pleasantly surprised with the best scampi I've ever eaten. The shrimp was perfectly cooked so it was fresh and soft and full of great flavor with wine and butter and the pasta with it was perfect. One of our family got eggplant parmesan and another one got spaghetti and meatballs, and bruschetta chicken. Chicken was cooked beautifully soft, melts in your mouth. The young kids enjoyed their spaghetti and meatballs and even the garlic bread and knots. For dessert we tried three of them; one was an outstanding chocolate mousse with a little whipped cream on top which you could get with raspberries or not, and we got a Tiramisu and a delicious sweet pistachio cake with a little icing on top. Their garlic bread is amazing! You get lots of little pieces of garlic on it and it's soft bread with the crunchy crust I mean you can't get any better than that. They also gave us garlic knots. The only thing we could say wasn't 100% for us was that the broccoli and carrots vegetable mix was not cooked enough to be softer so we asked for them to make it softer and they did. A server will come around and ask if you want any more freshly grated Parmesan cheese on anything and they give you a lot if you want it . The portions are large. The service is incredible, our waiter was excellent and checked with us every few minutes to make sure everything was fine, they do everything with a smile. It's just impeccable.I just wish the place was bigger as it's very popular for obvious reasons why every every table got filled up while we were there with people waiting to come in. If you have more than two people I'd say get a reservation, it's a must. This is now my new favorite restaurant I'm so glad we went there. Excellently managed and there's a big parking lot in that shopping center where it's located next to a market, and the freeway. And interestingly enough all the servers are men, and it works great. If I could ask for one thing they could include in their menu it would be for something like a filet of sole with a wine and garlic sauce. They do have a salmon dish but I don't eat salmon. But I did taste everything we ordered and all of it was delicious. We returned a week later, last night, and tried some other dishes. The salmon was very good, comes with fresh cooked vegies and pasta. The chicken and orzo soup is the best chicken soup I have had in any restaurant in my entire life, and I am very picky and this one is like what I make at home. I have never praised another chicken soup. The butterscotch budino dessert is delicious. The service is still excellent, Seth was our server who went above and beyond always with a real smile, warmth, eager to help. When we left there were many people waiting to get in. If you have to wait or you get cold easily, bring a warm jacket or sweater. It is worth waiting for.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options.“
“Giamela's is a classic go to and has been around for so many years! Consistent quality subs generously topped with diced onion and pickle (if you opt for it). Always a treat and blows away the chain sub "shops". The only downside for some my be that it's cash only.“
“We rated this place A+ on FB. The Antipasto Salad was delicious. The steak sandwich was prepared like a Philly steak sandwich and my husband absolutely loves it. I had the Hawaiian Pizza and it was the best, I don't usually like the crust, but this time I ate it all. Chicken Parmesan and Shrimp Scampi were out of this world.“
“There are so few places in LA that will let you order just a couple slices of pizza - it's nice to know they offer a wide variety of pies by the slice. Was in the neighborhood and ordered takeout from the counter. They run a smooth operation - menu makes pricing clear and lots of people were coming in for their to-go orders. I didn't dine in but they have beers and a few tables available. Wasn't a problem for me but some people may not like that they make only one size pizza, but it's big and if you don't want the whole thing, they let you order slices. I wish more pizza places did this. I didn't LOVE the too-chewy crust on my pepperoni pizza but it still tasted good.“
“I love this place. My husband and I are here for the Easter Brunch. We orders the small Plates and got yo sample so many items off the breakfast menu. Every last item was delicious. Cudis to Chef Edgar. We had: chicken & waffles, pb&j stuffed French toast, steak and eggs, chilaquiles, crab cake, CA omelette and the Lobster Egg Benedict. I would recommend every single item. Paired with their Romance Noir Pinot Noir from Sonoma (2018)“
“Nice italian restaurant here. They have a deli and offer a wide range of italian items. I ordered the meat lasagna and enjoyed it! It had lots of cheese and was delicious. The plate comes with some garlic bread pieces which were also the perfect texture and tasted amazing. It was my first time there and I definitely recommend it. There is a nice ambiance from the decorations to the dim lighting in the dining area. Their menu is great and has lots of options! 10/10“
“We both had no idea how wonderful the chicken Marsala, ciopino, ceasar salad, and bruschetta would be. the custom-made ciopino. I'm relieved we made it and am forward to return. Also excellent are the servers! Five-star service, thank you,“
“On a Saturday night, it was refreshing to be able to pop into a restaurant without a reservation or a long wait. The restaurant seemed busy with people sitting inside and outside but there were still multiple tables to choose from indoors. I really enjoyed my drunked sea pasta which had a good amount of seafood and the pasta was cooked perfectly. While the service was a bit slow, I wasn't in a rush and prefer quality cooked food over speed. Someone at the table did comment that the bread on the table was cold and not that tasty though, so that was a bit of a letdown. Parking is on the street, but I was able to find parking just around the corner.“
“What a great find! I tried this place based off so many great reviews and I see why! The sandwiches are not only absolutely delicious but the portions are enormous. I can only eat half the large sized sandwich and wrap the other half to go for later. The guy at the counter is always smiling & friendly and the service is exceptionally quick. The inside is kept very clean and although small, a nice place to eat a sandwich and watch life go by on the corner the restaurant sits.“
“Ordered pizza tonight for the family and was so happy with our meal. I ordered through their website for pick up and got a Jumbo deluxe pizza, medium Hawaiian, 12pc boneless wings, and an Italian salad. Everything was delicious!! It was plenty of food to feed our group of 6 and what made me the happiest was the cost. It came out to only about $11 per person! No way you can this good of a meal at such an awesome price from Dominoes. Ameci will be my new go-to for pizza for sure.“
“We ordered a meal for delivery for a large party of about 50 people. Sadly, the wrong meal was delivered, which was for about 5 people. We called Panini Kabob and informed them of the situation. Without delay, they corrected the issue and cooked up a new order. Later we found out, the problem was the door dash delivery driver who mixed up the orders. The food was a hit as expected. We've ordered from Panini Kabob before and will continue to order from here. Thank you to the Panini Kabob crew who helped fix our issue. It is greatly appreciated.“
“Before i even taste the pizza let me start off by telling you that i have not received this good a service in a while. While i was ordering the cashier made sure i was aware of a coupon they have and gave it to me to make sure my order is cheaper, it just happened to apply to exactly what i wanted. That was awesome, saved me 10$.While waiting for my pizza and knots the cashier came up and asked if i wanted a free drink, I politely declined but it is a hot day and that is a very kind gesture. The atmosphere is very nostalgic, and i even like the vibe of being a part of a “batcade” (baseball batting and arcade). Smells like great pizza here too.Service is fast and efficient, delivery is free, i don’t see any downsides, food should be ready any moment and i will continue writing, hopefully they don’t disappoint. The pizza-Cheese pizza was amazing. The char on the bottom was perfect, just thin enough but not too thin. Great sauce and great cheese, one of the better NY style pizzas i’ve had in LAHawaiian pizza was totally solid, a lil bit too much pineapple for my personal liking but that just comes down to taste, everything was super well cooked and the flavors felt fresh.Garlic knots were okay. Not the best i’ve ever had but not the worse. I would personally avoid them and maybe try a pasta next time.“
“I am Italian, and without a doubt, this is the closest to home cooked food. Plus, even with today's economy they've been able to keep a reasonable price structure. Portion size is just right and if you are still hungry, second portions are available.“
“Even though we had a hiccup with our order and it took a long time for our food to arrive, the staff was up front and very apologetic. They comped us a dessert because of it. Good customer service when there was a problem rates a decent score. Food was excellent.“
