“I've been going to Pieloon for a few years now and it is THE BEST restaurant in Downey! The food is always fabulous, the portions are large, the service is perfect! I've had appetizers, salads, pastas, steaks, burgers, sandwiches (I'm addicted to the BLT) and many of their specials. My family and I go now 2x a week and have trouble deciding what to get because it's all so good! And the pies...their pumpkin pie is the best I've ever had and the blueberry cheesecake is fabulous...but just wait until fresh peach pie season...I'll gain weight just thinking about it...the fresh peach is the best pie I've ever, EVER had! I love this place and the people who work there!! They're like family now!“

“Great ambiance and amazing food. I had a lot of food… falafel, spicy hummus, kafta kabob, tzatziki loaded with veggies, cheese balls, and baklava. All so delicious and fresh. I even loved the fresh pita and dipping sauce that was complimentary. From the manager and many servers, everyone was pleasant and friendly throughout my time there. I went during happy hour so the specials were great during that time. I’m definitely returning to this Mediterranean restaurant for sure. I loved it.“

I had the dulce de leche first and it was amazing and the freddo expresso transported me back to Greece. Not everone gets it on point. I had to go back for more after my lunch and I got a little creative and created my own and was glad to see that someone else was there to assist the young girl out.“

“It was such a pleasant experience visiting this sushi bar! The sushi was delicious, and my personal favorite is the Philadelphia roll. They have a huge variety of sushi, so I think there is something for everyone.
The boba tea was also really tasty, and they have a great selection of beer and appetizers. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

“Decided to try this place since I've heard so many good things! We got the pumpkin chai from their fall menu, salted caramel latte, apple danish and a cinnamon roll. My chai tasted like pure oat milk with a bit of spice but nothing like chai or pumpkin. The latte my mom got was super bitter but that might just be a preference thing? Not sure but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since my mom is not a die hard coffee lover but loves a good latte. The apple danish was really good! My cinnamon roll was a bit odd as it had cream cheese topping and not the traditional icing. The cinnamon roll it's self was super soft, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I don't think the the cream cheese topping makes sense at all with the roll and it's not sweet so it really does taste like whipped cream cheese...

Overall, I'd definitely venture again for their pastries and maybe try a different drink?“

“Had lunch here. After spending a month in thailand, I really missed the food.
The food was great, the people are nice, and it all came out pretty quickly! But that's how it is in thai restaurants in thailand.
Had the spring rolls, pad see ew, and tropical iced tea. All were great.

“We were a oarty of approximately 18 including 4 kids. Our server Chris was Magnificent and patient with. Got our orders down exactly as we requested, on the first try. Good job! We also ordered various desserts all of which were DELICIOUS so sorry i don't have photos to show but please know EVERY giid item ordered was right on point
Wife had the Eggplant Parmigianna and a slice of tres leches cake, my Grilled Chicken Margherite and Chocolate Lasagna were absolutely mouth-watering. I th8nk the birthday girl had the shrimp Alfredo. Others had the Calabrian Steak and Shrimp Bucatini, the Grilled Salmon minestrone, Ravioli Carnonara, Seafood Alfredo, Chicken and Gnocchi. Kids had their pizza (of course) other desserts included were Sicilian Cheesecakes,Black-Tie mousse Cake and Italian Doughnuts
All in all spectacular dishes.

I noticed I didn’t have it when I got home, I immediately called teriyaki J’s and I asked if they found it. The young lady (cashier) told me it was there and that she would save it for me and to go get it whenever I could. I drove back and she had it. She made my day, I tried to give her some money as a reward but she kindly refused and said no need. I would highly recommend this place, she could’ve kept the money, yet she decided to return it intact. I also have to say the food is amazing . 😻“

I like the chicken kabob wrap and my wife typically gets the chicken bowl. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is consistently good. Today went to eat brunch across street from yolis but line was too long. leaving driveway we saw Yoli's and decided to eat there.
