“An exceptional place. We had breakfast, a typical salvi breakfast plate,huevos rancheros, freshly made tortillas, cafe de holla, and Jamaica, all perfectly well made. Their service was when beyond asked for fries 🍟 for us son, even though it was not in the menu they made us fries.

“Myself,& two dear friends,(ex coworkers), had lunch there today. Not only was the food absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS! Everything we had was very appealing to the eyes 👀. We each hsd the opportunity to taste three different dishes.Wet Burrito, Avo Burger,& fries, & I think it was the loco moco bowl. Plus Beignets. “Villa's Tacos were amazing! and I'm not saying this just because of the hype of the Super Bowl. I'm saying this because I mean it. The tacos were just amazing to me. Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. I truly enjoyed every minute of my visit here. Thank you Villa's Tacos, we will return.“

“Not a big fan of sitting on the side of street where people walk by and you intake that fumes coming from all these traffic. Got to sit inside by the bar, the food here is okay, but a bit pricey for what it's worth. Been to many affordable to very expensive sushi places in the U.S. and in Asia, this place is more IG/social media friendly picturesque place than an actual sushi/sashimi place. Not much nigiri/sashimi choices. Not a big fan of places that sell pre-made canned alcohol with an extreme markup.“

“The little plates are yummy. I love the pita bread that came with the hummus (Salatim plate). The other plates were good also. I loved the bread pudding (I think it's better than the best cake). What I like the most about Bacari, besides the beautiful ambiance, is the friendliest staff.“

The Vegan breakfast sandwiches and drinks we ordered were so dang good and trust, we’re pretty spoiled with Vegan food in the PNW! The workers were incredible nice. Don’t miss out on the area in the back. It’s relaxing and nice to sit down and just forget about the world for a moment while you eat. “I went to the Tonchin location in New York late last year, so I came into the Los Angeles location excited and with high expectations. The food was good overall. My wife did not quite understand the hype around it, but I personally thought it was solid, even though it did not stand out as much as the New York location.

Where the difference between the two locations stood out the most was in customer service. We had to wait nearly twenty minutes just to receive the check, and throughout the meal the server rarely came by to check on us. Because of this, the overall experience at the Los Angeles location fell short of what I experienced in New York.

“The first time I came here, I got the No.8 and wasn’t a huge fan - I personally felt the toppings were overwhelming and I didn’t like the flavors together, BUT I could taste how amazing the everything bagel was underneath. The dough was soft and chewy and it was actually salted well which in my experience, is pretty rare. So I came back and this time just got butter and scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel so I could taste the bagel more on its own, and it was amazing. The bagel is genuinely so good you can eat it on its own, which is not something I can say for most bagel places I’ve been too. The scallion cream cheese is also genuinely amazing, it’s super light and fluffy and delicious. From now on my go to order is everything bagel with scallion cream cheese on the side so I can enjoy it plain and with the CC.

Also every single staff member I’ve met has been incredibly kind, genuine, and helpful, it’s nice to come to a place that people seem genuinely happy to work at and be a part of. And who knows, you may like the No.8 (I hear it’s popular!) it just wasn’t for me.

(And yes, this is better than every bagel I’ve had during the time I lived in NYC.)“

Egg, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, feta, salsa verde — and I added chorizo. The combination is layered, bright, and bold. The sun-dried tomatoes give it depth, the salsa verde cuts through beautifully, and the chorizo adds that extra savory punch. In my opinion, it actually outshined the bestseller. If you’re someone who appreciates a protein-forward, well-crafted breakfast burrito with intention behind the flavors, this is a spot worth pulling up to. Community-approved for a reason. “This food pulled me out of my depression. I'm so serious. I tend to fight with myself about what to eat for lunch and dinner, how much to spend, and if I should order in or eat what I have at home. I just gave in and ordered delivery, and ended up with one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I got the plantains, the oxtail patty, and the wings. Those flavors thrilled me. I was shocked at how good each new thing was. I've since had it a few more times. My only complaint is that the shrimp roti isn't as good as it could be. My shrimp were over cooked, and the flavor is missing something. My favorite has been the pepper goat roti. BABY! That is about to be a problem for my wallet. What a delicious creation. What a beautiful restaurant. Glad it exists.

I got the cold noodles and the noodle soup, both worth a try. Cold noodles taste really good, very rich, creamy and hearty flavor 😋 staff is really kind and explain the menu well. I would come back and try other things off the menu too.“
