Went to Sqirl for dinner. Although popular for brunch we wanted to experience the dinner menu. Overall really good food and service. We really enjoy the chicken. Portions were decent to share. I love onion rings but the onion rings at Sqirl were not my favourite. Batter was too think and overpowered the flavour of the onion.
One of the best local spots for breakfast or lunch. Sqirl makes everything from scratch and you can feel how much craftsmanship is put into the food. Truly some of the best dishes in LA.

Sqirl is a restaurant known for its delicious and organic food. Standout dishes include latkes with creme fraiche and salmon, and a giant pancake with compote. The service is friendly and attentive, making for a welcoming and pampering experience. The coffee, made with single origin beans and homemade almond milk, is a highlight. This restaurant offers a great brunch with amazing mile-high quiche and superb omelette, and a light, fluffy buckwheat pancake was a revelation. Toasts are a must-try, with the salmon sorrel bowl being an amazing introduction and the brioche french toast tasting like warm bread pudding. The design is also a creative dream. It's a great spot to support local businesses while in LA, offering "New Californian" cooking with wonderful combinations.
