Que Ricos is a restaurant that has earned praise for its homemade-style meals. The menudo remains a standout, with customers raving about its freshness and exceptional taste. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is known for their friendly and welcoming demeanor, making customers feel like part of the family. The breakfast burritos, including the option to add chicken, have received high marks, with one customer calling it a must-try. The menu is simple, featuring burritos, tortas, tacos, menudo, pozole, and vegetarian options. One customer enjoyed the carnitas torta, noting its generous portion, although saving it for later made it a bit soggy. However, some recent reviews mention that the restaurant can be a bit disappointing. Service can be slow, especially when paying with a card, as customers are required to use kiosks and only helped if paying cash. The music played is northern Mexican, which some find tiresome, though the jukebox offers a way to change the tunes. Food quality varies; while the chorizo con huevos is better here than in other local places, some items like nachos and tacos have been described as mediocre or stale. The champurrado has received criticism for lacking a deep chocolate flavor, and some customers have experienced issues with their orders, such as unexpected ingredients in their burritos. Prices can be on the higher side, and parking is limited, but the overall experience still offers good food and friendly service, making it a place worth visiting for those seeking familiar, homemade Mexican dishes.
