“I came here because the reviews were good. I was a little surprised to see some Chinese and Japanese-style dishes mixed into the menu, but the two Thai dishes we ordered were both absolutely delicious:) especially the Thai green curry!!

The service was very fast and friendly as well.

And the portion sizes are seriously huge… haha. Honestly, it’s hard to complain when they give you that much food 😃“

Didnt taste like gmos or salty though.“

“We came in here 4/10/26, we were greeted by the manager (she even opened the door for us) and seated us, the mood was set already we felt welcomed and overall pleasant and content being there. We ordered our drinks and our food, they arrived shortly after a brief conversation with my girlfriend. The food was delicious cooked to perfection! I could not find any reason to hate it. From start to finish I just enjoyed my stay here will definitely be coming back :)“

“Myself,& two dear friends,(ex coworkers), had lunch there today. Not only was the food absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS! Everything we had was very appealing to the eyes 👀. “Villa's Tacos were amazing! and I'm not saying this just because of the hype of the Super Bowl. I'm saying this because I mean it. The tacos were just amazing to me. Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. I truly enjoyed every minute of my visit here. Thank you Villa's Tacos, we will return.“

Our server was condescending and repeatedly interrupted our moment by crossing between us without a word. When I asked about drinks, she was short and even gave inaccurate descriptions. This is my second visit, and both times with the same server have left a sour taste. I hope the service improves because the food deserves better! “The first time I came here, I got the No.8 and wasn’t a huge fan - I personally felt the toppings were overwhelming and I didn’t like the flavors together, BUT I could taste how amazing the everything bagel was underneath. The dough was soft and chewy and it was actually salted well which in my experience, is pretty rare. So I came back and this time just got butter and scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel so I could taste the bagel more on its own, and it was amazing. The bagel is genuinely so good you can eat it on its own, which is not something I can say for most bagel places I’ve been too. The scallion cream cheese is also genuinely amazing, it’s super light and fluffy and delicious. From now on my go to order is everything bagel with scallion cream cheese on the side so I can enjoy it plain and with the CC.

Also every single staff member I’ve met has been incredibly kind, genuine, and helpful, it’s nice to come to a place that people seem genuinely happy to work at and be a part of. And who knows, you may like the No.8 (I hear it’s popular!) it just wasn’t for me.

(And yes, this is better than every bagel I’ve had during the time I lived in NYC.)“

“This place fricken rocks, it honestly made my wife and I consider moving down to LA! We're both motorcycle riders so seeing the whole place be themed around that lifestyle was very creative and attractive. Even if you're not a rider, this is a really fun and cool spot. Very fun dishes and drinks, various forms of seating for eating and drinking (outdoor/indoor), and there's lots to simply look at so you may finish your meal and meander around to look at all the neat motorcycle paraphernalia scattered throughout the room.

The food was delicious American-fare, the service was attentive, the drinks are high-quality, the prices are reasonable. The area it's in...ehhh I wouldn't walk here if I could avoid it, there's not too much nearby worth visiting. Oh, and it's dog friendly! They even have meals for your pooch if you feel inclined. Our dogs loved their homemade dog treats and enjoyed their provided water bowl.

Definitely a spot we'll go back to, and if we move to LA we're guaranteed joining them on one of their monthly rides! We also bought a couple motorcycle shirts for our rides. Easily my favorite spot in the area.“

“This food pulled me out of my depression. I'm so serious. I tend to fight with myself about what to eat for lunch and dinner, how much to spend, and if I should order in or eat what I have at home. I just gave in and ordered delivery, and ended up with one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I got the plantains, the oxtail patty, and the wings. Those flavors thrilled me. I was shocked at how good each new thing was. I've since had it a few more times. My only complaint is that the shrimp roti isn't as good as it could be. My shrimp were over cooked, and the flavor is missing something. My favorite has been the pepper goat roti. BABY! That is about to be a problem for my wallet. What a delicious creation. What a beautiful restaurant. Glad it exists.

We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“
