“Rice Street Food was really tasty - everything was excellent! We had the sausage, egg rolls, and wings for appetizers, and for mains we had the Ancient Lad Thai Seafood, pineapple fried rice, and my son had the teriyaki chicken bowl. We finished with mango sticky rice for dessert. Everything hit the spot perfectly.

Only small thing was the owner took my cup for a water refill and never came back - we joked with him about it after. Wasn't a big deal at all, we just walked to the cooler and grabbed a soda lol. Will definitely be back!“

The thing with these type of places is that the veggies taste clear/fake or something lol paid 15 with extra side of broccoli. Try it out if u will. Id go back last. Didnt taste like gmos or salty though.“

“Villa's Tacos were amazing! and I'm not saying this just because of the hype of the Super Bowl. I'm saying this because I mean it. The tacos were just amazing to me. Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. I truly enjoyed every minute of my visit here. Thank you Villa's Tacos, we will return.“

Crunchwrap was tasty they had well seasoned beans. The cinnamon roll was bready soft and tasty. The frosting was cloying and overwhelmed the cinnamon roll IMO. Overall great selection and would come back to try the other baked goods and menu options. “Easy 5 stars. Genuinely some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Everything was incredibly fresh, and I loved that the dishes weren’t overloaded with sauces or unnecessary toppings, the quality of the fish really spoke for itself.

The salmon was buttery and melted in your mouth, the eel was warm, rich and perfectly glazed, and even the cucumber salad was ridiculously good. And if you go, definitely try the fatty tuna, highly recommend it!

This is one of those places that makes it hard to enjoy average sushi afterward. 😂 Already looking forward to going back.“

“I just tried Bridgetown Roti for the first time. I can immediately say Mom's Curry Chicken Roti did not disappoint. It was packed with flavor and incredibly juicy inside, with a nicely grilled exterior. For me, their Pineapple Habanero Sauce made it complete. Giving it that extra spicy kick I wanted. The pineapple perfectly toned down the habanero so that it wasn't too hot. Just flavorful.

I also tried their Oxtail & Peppers Patty. Definitely good, but not as much of a standout as the roti.

Lastly, I tried their Macaroni & Cheese Pie. This was somewhat disappointing. If I had to guess, perhaps it's not a popular seller. Mine tasted like it had been reheated numerous times and definitely didn't taste fresh like the rest of the food.

We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. They have so many items on the menu from pastas to decadent desserts and they even have imported Italian sparkling water and still. If you wanna feel transported to a country and romanticize what your taste buds are experiencing, this is the place for you. There is some seating outside and you can people watch but the star of all of this is incredible food just the way his beloved Grandmother made.“
