“We came in here 4/10/26, we were greeted by the manager (she even opened the door for us) and seated us, the mood was set already we felt welcomed and overall pleasant and content being there. We ordered our drinks and our food, they arrived shortly after a brief conversation with my girlfriend. The food was delicious cooked to perfection! I could not find any reason to hate it. From start to finish I just enjoyed my stay here will definitely be coming back :)“

“The chocolate banana bread is my ultimate favorite banana bread of all time. It is moist and full of flavor. You will enjoy it. Next, I’m not a fan of blueberry and prefer strawberry but the worker said it’s pretty good so I gave it a try and I’m so glad I did. I got a plain bagel with blueberry smear and it was delicious. It didn’t taste like blueberry too much. I really liked it.“

“Villa's Tacos were amazing! and I'm not saying this just because of the hype of the Super Bowl. I'm saying this because I mean it. The tacos were just amazing to me. Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. I truly enjoyed every minute of my visit here. Thank you Villa's Tacos, we will return.“

Our server was condescending and repeatedly interrupted our moment by crossing between us without a word. When I asked about drinks, she was short and even gave inaccurate descriptions. “Oh my goodness! This place was such a beautiful find. I absolutely loved all the options they had for gluten-free and dairy free. I got the lemon cake and two of the sprinkle cookies to bring home to me and my family. The bread options are amazing for gluten-free as well. I ended up getting their chorizo and egg for breakfast. Absolutely amazing food. On the side I got tater tots, they were crunchy and very tasty. Not greasy, which is hard to do when you fry something. We sat in the back where the wine area is because it was really hot that day so the ambience in that little area was very quirky and eclectic. It’s a very comforting delicious place to go visit if you’re hankering for some gluten-free, dairy free pastries. Did I mention the entire place is vegan!“

“This place fricken rocks, it honestly made my wife and I consider moving down to LA! We're both motorcycle riders so seeing the whole place be themed around that lifestyle was very creative and attractive. Even if you're not a rider, this is a really fun and cool spot. Very fun dishes and drinks, various forms of seating for eating and drinking (outdoor/indoor), and there's lots to simply look at so you may finish your meal and meander around to look at all the neat motorcycle paraphernalia scattered throughout the room.

The food was delicious American-fare, the service was attentive, the drinks are high-quality, the prices are reasonable. The area it's in...ehhh I wouldn't walk here if I could avoid it, there's not too much nearby worth visiting. Oh, and it's dog friendly! They even have meals for your pooch if you feel inclined. Our dogs loved their homemade dog treats and enjoyed their provided water bowl.

Definitely a spot we'll go back to, and if we move to LA we're guaranteed joining them on one of their monthly rides! We also bought a couple motorcycle shirts for our rides. Easily my favorite spot in the area.“

Unfortunately, I got so full that I didn't get the chance to try everything else. My vegetarian friend said their roti was really good!

“After our Altadena house burned down, we relocated to Barker Block and absolutely love being so close to Manuela. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“

“This is authentic down to the sexy owner Francesco with the beautiful accent. He made the heck out of my cappuccino with a hint of house made vanilla and cinnamon. He deftly stirred and measured all the while answering my questions just so I could hear him speak.
I also got the fritatta with zucchini and other delicious veggies. O.g! Do, savory and fluffy. They have so many items on the menu from pastas to decadent desserts and they even have imported Italian sparkling water and still. If you wanna feel transported to a country and romanticize what your taste buds are experiencing, this is the place for you. There is some seating outside and you can people watch but the star of all of this is incredible food just the way his beloved Grandmother made.“
