“Found this nice little spot while looking for lunch on a Saturday. I saw the advertised slices so I had gone in, they told me it was only MON-FRI but quickly went to ask the owner if they could make some for me! They immediately came out and said yes. When I realized that they'd make an entire pizza just to sell me some slices, I returned and buy the rest. Passed them out to my coworkers and some homeless around work. They all loved it, coworkers even asked where to buy it :)! Great sauce, yummy meat and perfect crust. Thank you Bambino's, we loved it.“
“This pizza...two words: Hella Good! This place is authentic and since there's no online ordering, nostalgic. LOL. All funnies aside, the pizza is top notch and filling. The box is heavy when you receive it and it's filled with toppings. It can be pricey, but it's worth every penny. The service is great and the atmosphere is cozy.“
“My favorite pizza in the South Bay / LA area. My dad was going to this place in the 60's when he was in high school. Local spot with a cozy atmosphere and nice people. I moved a little farther out, so I don't get to come here as often, but when I'm near I always make it a point to stop by and pick up a few pizzas.“
“Friendly service by the owner Maria. Very nice lady. Once you taste the pizza, you will not be disappointed. Don't worry about those who use EBT. All is welcome. The best part. Buy one, get one.Vegetarian options: There is a veggie pizza. Haven't tried it yet, but I am sure it's good.Parking: There are about 10 parking spots on the location.“
“We met here for my aunts belated birthday and we had a great experience. Our waiter was knowledgeable and was paired with a great attitude and the food was great. All around, this was a great visit.Dietary restrictions: A few months back, I made a lifestyle change, and I started researching where people are purchasing their meat because it’s really important to me that they get it from somewhere where the animals were treated with respect and without harm. So every time I go somewhere, if I can’t find information that the place is certified humane. I’ll ask waitstaff and they always get me the company that supplies them with a beef and chicken then I’ll do the research myself online. The company that they purchased the chicken from was certified humane according to the website“
“This food was amazing, totally worth the hype. Tourist here, no connection to the staff, want that to be clear for the next comment: that they do what they do here, especially the bar staff, is a freaking miracle. Two bartenders running hard, no barback. A bit ridiculous and clearly if the skilled and committed bartenders leave, they'd be up a creek. It doesn't take a professional to see they are holding a tight line here. This place is hot. Get these folks some help.“
“This restaurant is fantastic!!!The food is always great.. full portions and reasonably priced... the Della Casa salad is our favorite.. which has both heats of palm and artichoke hearts and a wonderful light dressing... all pastas are great... we had the sea bass which was fresh and was served with veggies and potatoes. Love this restaurant and when the weather gets better the outdoor patio is fantastic.. 1/2 a block in from the beach... Excellent service and atmosphere.“
“The chicken marsala was incredibleVegetarian options: Pizza and pasta can be ordered vegetarian. Not a great place for vegans.Dietary restrictions: I had a hard time finding a gluten-free option. Trani's does not have gluten-free pizza or pasta.“
“A vegan friend recommended going here and it did not disappoint. The brussels sprouts weren’t great, but I got the San Gennaro pizza and it was seriously one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, vegan or not. Nice atmosphere and I’ll definitely come back for this pizza.“
“Decent atmosphere, kinda dark and fairly loud. Food was over all good. The meatballs were good, but nothing crazy. The ricotta wip was a good addition to them and the bread was good and crispy. The mushrooms lasagna was absolutely over powered by the balsamic and wayyyy too sweet. The egg pizza was delicious from the dough to the toppings. The desserts however were best described by my friend as grocery store desserts. Tiramisu was ok, missing half a layer... Strawberry shortcake a hard pass. Neither worth it imo.“
“I ordered via DoorDash and this order was ready and delivered so fast. It came hot and delicious. Highly recommend. Lots of flavor in the lasagna and the salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette was really good. Cheese bread was about what you’d expect. I’ll order this again.“
“Marco's cooking made me feel like a child again, sitting at the table with my grandparents, without time and without worries. The scent of ragù, the freshness of basil, the magic of pizza and the good heat of homemade pasta brought me back to my homeland. The lively dishes and the genuine atmosphere are a living tradition, try it to believe it! Here there is not just taste, there is a real experience that has no equal in Los Angeles. I'm happy to have found you!“
“One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Long Beach.Every bite takes me back to Italy. ?Carbonara and Romana Pizza it’s my favorite.Great service and Great staff. Expect to wait if you’re having dining in on a weekend.Worth the wait!“
“Our women's group UWiS celebrated our 9th International Women's Day Dinner @Raffeallos Ristorante on Friday, March 8th. We had 100 guests, including one supportive man, President of Local 105 SMART Sheet Metal Worker's union. Our event was in their banquet room and we used every inch. The room was beautifully decorated and the service was excellent. We had a deejay who did take request DJ Sweezy and he struck just the right tones. It was a beautiful evening to celebrate women in various trades.“
“First of all, it is very attractive that you can easily make reservations from Google and Yelp. The atmosphere inside the store is very cute. The appetizer artichoke is very delicious! ! ! This had really great seasoning and the sourness of the lemon was nice. It's so delicious that I want to come back just to eat it. The risotto and lemon tiramisu was also very delicious.“
“In the summer of 1975, I was only 14, and already a "Busboy extraordinaire"! My family had just moved from East Los Angeles to Monterey Park, and I started working at the best Italian restaurant on the planet, 'Agostino's'. At first, I thought all the beautiful girls were coming in to see me clear dirty dishes off of dirty tables. I later learned it had something to do with the food. And something to do with the restaurants' proximity to Mark Keppel High School. On top of all that. it was Great pizza at an affordable price. I stayed there charming the clientele for about three years. I met members of the M.P. Police, council members, Mayors, and others. I saw my classmates come in with their families, on dates, and in the banquet room after every major school dance. It was a place where you could go have pizza with friends, and not be embarrassed to run into your parents having a nice dinner. It was the hub of all social life in the San Gabriel Valley. I left the restaurant for college in 1978. In 1980, Agostino ("Gus") and Alicia sold the restaurant and went back to Sicily. I hadn't seen them in almost 50 years. A half century! Well, my fellow Monterey Parklandians (is that even a word?), this past weekend my wife says to me: "Remember your wish to step into 1975 and smell the food at Agostino's again"? She then drove me to this small Italian restaurant in the community of Paramount. Inside ..... were Gus & Alicia. The original owners who gave me my first real job so many years ago. The food was as good OR better than I remembered. Just as fresh too. My wife and I split an antipasto salad, a lasagna, and a pizza. Alicia came over to sit with us, we traded hugs & stories. Alicia is as warm and delightful as I remembered her. We didn't spend too much time with Gus, he was busy. Although I believe Gus is still jealous, because Alicia thinks I'm too handsome. It's a mystery. If you lived in the MP/Alhambra area for any amount of time, you surely enjoyed the authentic Sicilian food from Agostino's. And you'll truly enjoy Gus & Alicia's "Cafe Corleone". I know we'll be going back. CAFE CORLEONE 15337 Paramount Blvd, Paramount, CA (562) 408-6100. Dine-in/Takeout / Delivery“
“We took our son-in-law and daughter out for his birthday. Everyone enjoyed their food very much. The only reason I didn't give five stars was that I had requested a quiet table out of the restaurant traffic, but we ended up next to the bar, in passing traffic. I have a serious hearing loss and very much wanted to enjoy the conversation. The staff is always helpful and delightful, very professional.“
“Worth the trip ? I have not been able to go here in years.Excellent sandwichsThe deli is fresh and made onsite. They made their own bread ?Highly recommend this place ?Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian sandwichThere are plenty of deli salads for vegetariansKid-friendliness: They have kis mealsWheelchair accessibility: You can par“
“I ordered take out online and it was fast and easy and the food was ready fairly quickly. As I enter the restaurant it was very busy and the atmosphere was pleasant. While waiting for my order a manager or owner without asking handed me some fresh bread to enjoy. That was nice. The food was delicious and I’ll definitely go back :)“
“I am a lover of Italian food! Overall the place was good. Everything seemed fresh and had good flavor. We ordered the burrata appetizer, which was decent. I appreciated that they had 2 types of gluten free pasta. They made the other pastas in house. Worth a try if you are craving Italian food and are in the area.“
“When we arrived the music was soft instrumental, perfect for the setting and dinner conversation. About 30 minutes in to our experience, the volume of the music increased significantly and was changed to Euro trash dance music making it hard to talk at the table and the super loud dance beat was really annoying. The ambiance and client base is far more suited for softer Italian Rat Pack style music.“
“This place is a South Bay gem! The coffee is the best I have found in our area, the owner/staff are super friendly, and the food is fresh & delicious. In the morning, it's packed but service is still efficient. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a latte and a crostini!“
“A small inconspicuous storefront 2 doors down from Wise tires on LA Brea in Inglewood. Walked in and immediately swept up into a comfortable and inviting small space that was all Italian restaurant. The menu was large and prices were extremely reasonable. Food was prepared fresh to order and tasted like food at any of the finest 5 Star Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at.Delicious, wonderful, all made with fresh ingredients and flavor that overwhelmed the senses.I had the meatball sandwich lunch special, including chips and a drink. It came out of the kitchen completely filling the plate. I have a large appetite and could only manage to finish half of it. Huge portions! All of this for $12.95, you can't find a fast food equivalent for that price anymore, let alone fresh prepared like this.I was amazed at this hidden gem ?.No matter where you are, it is well worth a trip to Inglewood for some of the finest Italian food.“
“Squid and wasabi spaghetti has been my favorite for over a decade. However, it was fresh wasabi root with very pleasant aroma. Now it's a pickled wasabi and something g has been missing for me. Maybe I am just picky. But the 1 dollar salad and the refillable sweet tea is always must-have! Bread is always fresh and soft inside. I will still go back every time I am nearby...“
“Can't go wrong with complimentary fresh baked bread served warm. Love Fritto Misto. We've dined in a few times and ordered takeout once. All experiences have been fantastic with staff & food, although on one visit my sauce was broken and I should have sent it back but definitely not a deterrent from future visits. Pasta is definitely made in house along with pretty much everything else. Some of the specials & really complex pasta dishes can be on the pricier side. I appreciate how affordable the simple choose your pasta & sauce option is. They don't accept reservations. This spot can be really busy during normal dinner times but if you go before 6:30 you can generally get a table easily, no problem. If you take any of their pasta to go and need to reheat it, do it on the stove & not in the microwave..“
“The "go to" Westchester pizza place! The owners really care about the customer experience and everything is top quality. I'm super fussy about my pizza and they always deliver exactly what I want - no browned cheese aka "light." Service is impeccable. Excellent, fresh food and pizza options. Their gorgeous pizza ? case is stocked full of a wide variety of freshly made pies if you're interested in slices. The artsy atmosphere is fun and the restroom is well appointed. Prices are fantastic for top quality food. Back door parking is easy. What's not to like? Don't miss it - the deliver too.“
“Most charming Italian restaurant in the Southbay! Chef David Slay always gets the best ingredients for freshness and flavors of Italy. The made daily focaccia bread to start is a must! We love the lasagna, chicken piccata and mushroom and fennel pizza!“
“Went here tonight cause it was a block away from the Motel 6 I was staying at. The place is small, but has a great homey feel you'd expect from a Mariscos place. I got the Baja shrimp burrito. They brought me a chicken burrito first by mistake and it was really tasty, I almost just ate it and didnt say anything, but was in the mood for shrimp. A man who I assume is either the manager or owner kept going up to me to make sure I was ok. He really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. The burrito was great. I've had better, but absolutely no complaints. I'd normally give this 4 stars being that they gave me the wrong dish and it wasn't exactly mind blowing. But the manager was so cool that I can't help but give it 5 stars. Also the Molcajete looked and smelled amazing so I'm gonna assume that's the thing to get.“
“Best vegan pizza in LA!! The crust is perfect, the plant-based cheese is the best I’ve ever had, and all in all it’s delicious! I miss the vegan lovers though :/. Thankfully you can replace cheese for the vegan cheese on any pizza, but I loved the toppings before! It’s also pretty pricey…Vegetarian options: Very vegan-friendly!“
“We were here for a bridal dinner in the private back room. Absolutely delicious!!! Fresh ingredients and everything made with love. Excellent service, beautiful atmosphere! The pasta was perfect and the appetizers were such a tasty start to an incredible meal.“
“Evening food is INCREDIBLE - like you’re in Italy. People are wonderful, especially the GM and head waiter. They make you feel very welcome. Only complaints - no vintages on wine list, no corkage. Food and wine list is also overpriced. And while I complain about the bill every time I come here, we go back. Because the food is incredible, the people are wonderful and you feel like you’re not in Hermosa Beach, but transported to somewhere else.“
“The food here is fantastic! This is fine dining. Sophisticated dishes. Full bar. This is not a place to if you want a quick bite. This is a dining experience.Great place for birthdays.Perfect for entertaining out of town guests. Every dish is exceptional. The waiters are professional and attentive.I recommend this restaurant.“
“Excellent food and service. We don't usually drive this far for restaurants but any time we're in the neighborhood this is a must stop. Oxtail ragout gnocchi is outstanding. Especially appreciated that chef Giuseppe insisted on replacing our pasta bolognese when I asked for more sauce. The pride he shows in his work is very much appreciated. Be sure to check out the chalk board daily specials. During covid lock down we came often to take his specials home. Well worth the trip.Parking: Parking structure across the street is reasonably priced“
“I started coming here about 4 months ago when I moved into the neighborhood. Initially for a quick slice on the go with one of my kids. Now pretty consistently getting a pie weekly. I’ve made some difficult requests and they have come through. Very good and affordable Pizza for LA. I definitely recommend!Parking: Tons of parking right outside. I usually get the spot right in front.Kid-friendliness: I bring my 1.5 year old with me and they always help accommodate to make it easy for us.“
“Mama Says Italian restaurant, conveniently located in the Rolling Hills plaza next to Whole Foods, proved to be a delightful discovery. The review praises the excellent food made to order at a reasonable price. The mixed seafood pasta ordered to-go was perfectly seasoned, with noodles cooked to the ideal texture, not overdone. The addition of the carrot soup, with its enjoyable blend of seasoning and just the right amount of cream, complemented the meal nicely. Definitely, be back to try other pasta dishes.“
“The food was actually incredible. They use an excessive amount of cheese while still staying behind the line of "too much", plenty of herbs sprinkled on top, good pepperoni and perfectly crunchy and thick crust. Fries were crisp and crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The restaurant was clean with ample space between tables and seats. My only complaint is the service. The employees are so nice, enthusiastic, and friendly, but they need a better system for getting food out. Too many people taking turns sending orders out, they aren't very loud people either so it's hard to listen to your order unless you're right at the counter but you don't want everyone crowding the space. If this place invested in establishing a proper organization to serving, they wouldn't ever slow down because their employees, food, and restaurant are fantastic“
“This place is close to my heart and stomach! Our family has been enjoying Appetizer turkey sandwiches for many, many years. It was a tradition for my Mom and Dad to order them for USC football games. We are continuing the tradition to this day and have also discovered their amazing pizza! So dang good. It’s always a pleasure to see them and pick up our order. They’re always smiling and happy. Love this place! Highly recommended.“
“I may have written a review about Sebastian's Mediterranean Cuisine when it was located in a different downtown area of San Pedro. This review refers to the new location on 6th street - conveniently between the harbor and the Warner Grand Theater. This restaurant is SUPERB! I have eaten there several times over the past few weeks. The food is fresh and plentiful. I have my favorites - first being the Lentil Soup. This is the only place I have eaten lentil soup that didn't have tomato (I am allergic). It is hearty and the flavor is "just right"! Second is their appetizer sampler. We recently tried the three humus trio, buffalo cauliflower, Brussel sprouts that are cartelized, and falafel. Honestly, they are all equally as good! Plus the dish comes with a generous portion of warm pita and a. mini-salad.Next - the kabobs! The seafood / salmon kabob is cooked to perfection. The chicken one is very popular, as well. I frankly found them yummy for a bite or two but wanted to save room for other dishes. The falafel sandwich is absolutely the yummiest! And the greek salad is also a nice addition to any meal!Don't expect a fancy restaurant - it is not. But the food more than makes up for it! And the staff is amazing- very attentive but not overbearing! All in all - I give Sebastian's two thumbs up! Bring your appetite - there is much to enjoy here!Vegetarian options: The lentil soup and hummus trio.“
“This is the best food that I've had in months, the vegan options are wonderful and the service was super fast, I'm looking forward to coming back!Vegetarian options: The chickpea and potato combo bowl with avocado is just outrageously delicious“
“I can’t say enough about Lido! I personally love the food, atmosphere and staff. I have also had several events in the back patio area, including a monthly Kiwanis meeting, and they are always seamless. Lisa, Carlos, Javier and the rest of the team always make sure everything runs smoothly. If you are just going to dinner or throwing a party this is a great spot!“
“My grandma comes here very often and she loves the food and the service, as do I. They are always very attentive and kind, and the food is delicious and made fresh. Grandma had a dinner party for 20 last week and ordered from Giorgio’s. The food arrived steaming hot, and there was so much we had leftovers for days. All the guests loved the food. Definitely 5 star service and quality!“
“Food is consistent 90% of the time in all their locations.Nice ambiance and high ceiling. Can get a little noisy in here.I suggest doing the bomba style when ordering their pizza.I suggest ordering a plate in every category in the menu which you can share in a group of four or five people.I highly recommend reminding your server to serve any bread first. On my last visit it was served last and we were almost full with our first four plates.Plenty of parking spaces, availability is scarce.“
“I ordered a pizza to be delivered and it arrived quickly. The pizza was very good. I especially liked the thin crust. It had the perfect amount of toppings, everything was evenly distributed. It was delicious. One of the best pizzas I've had. Will definitely be ordering from ASAP again.“
“I am not a food truck fan in general. Maybe two or three times a year I go to one, but it was raining and cold and there was one at the front door so tonight was Food Truck Night, and an overcooked, overpriced burger with too many fries would be just fine.SO WHAT A THRILL TO DISCOVER ITALIA ON THE ROAD instead. The tastiest lasagna I have ever had, with a fresh salad I was too full to eat.The bread and chocolate chip canolis, which I did have time for, were good enough to write about. So I am. Wonderful dinner.Equally important if not more so, ANGELO and SOLENT, the Truck's partners in life and lasagna, were so kind and warm and genuine that my dinner experience soared to really special heightsThey are cover-model captivating, both of them; without a touch of conceit. The food tonight was exceptional, and my experience unparalleled , .in that great way when life occasionally makes the ordinary extraordinaryPeople worth knowing, food worth tasting, and a small business worth supporting. ITALIA ON THE ROAD.Dinner is served (see photo).Buon appetito.“
“My closest friends and I had the pleasure of dining at Nando in Manhattan Beach, and it surpassed all expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed by Dario, whose hospitality set the tone for the evening. The ambiance was enchanting, with romantic lighting and a soundtrack that perfectly complemented the cozy atmosphere.Throughout our meal, the attentive staff ensured that our glasses were never empty, The Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino wine paired so wonderfully with everything. Each dish arrived at just the right moment, allowing us to savor every sip of wine and engage in conversation while relishing each beautifully presented bite. The food was nothing short of a culinary adventure. We indulged in an array of dishes including the Bruschettone, Cavoletti Ortolani, Gnoccho E Costata, Gemellu Alla Norcina, Tonno Di Venere, Pollo Parmagiana, and finished with desserts.Although I regret not capturing more moments on camera, I've included a few photos to give you a glimpse of our experience. Nando is not just a restaurant; it's an experience that's perfect for impressing guests, a romantic date, or simply treating yourself to a memorable evening. Thank you, Nando, for creating the best dining experience we've ever had. We can't wait to return.“
“5th return Favorite weekly habit ?Pick up lunch for my senior I visit with up north. But he says it’s worth reheating, It’s simple, fresh and dollar for dollar worth it! Not to mention incredibly kind and work hard to please ! Hope they don’t have to raise prices (hint hint… no rent increases for all these local establishments El Segundo. …PLEASE??“
“Ambiance and food were good. It only took very long to get everyone's drinks. Food also took long and all came out with big gaps in between. By the time we got all our food items we where full from eating the 1st one. Then drinks came after. Not sure if they where under staffed or what was going on. No one said anything or apologized for getting food/drinks late. It would of been nice. It kind of bummed the birthday Celebration.“
“Always a delicious experience, whether you are ordering a sandwich or lunch special or buying some deli items out of the case - like an antipasta salad. YUM! It gets busy during lunch time, but the line moves quickly. Try the meatball sandwich.“
“Another good gem in the world famous "gastronomysuck" aka Los Angeles. This is a very Italian place. Pizza is great but VERY thin. You'll need to order a pizza for one person and if you eat well, consider to order two.Still the flavor is like made straight from Italy.Pasta is good, but it didn't make me jump from my seat. The atmosphere is ok, not very fancy, is a huge shed.If you wanna go for a good meal, would be a good spot.Service is good.No idea why is located in an sort of industrial area. This places belong to any fancy cute commercial area.“
“Kind staff and great pizza it was a bit loud inside but it was also busy and people were enjoying food and conversations with each other it didn't bother me but if you are looking for a quiet dining experience I would recommend going at slower times. But I will be returning soon.“
