“First time at Il Posto, very welcoming, warm ambiance, attentive service, server Sylvia did not forget that it's a birthday, food fresh , but the lasagna I ordered very salty and swimming in acidic tomato sauce , and bread not complimentary, usually it is a free treat to welcome customers in an Italian restaurant. Overall food good but would be tastier if less salt .“

“This is a decent Italian restaurant. If you live far, it’s not worth the trip.
Parking is street and neighborhood parking in those cramped LA residential neighborhoods.
Restaurant seems small. It’s dimly lit and has a romantic atmosphere.
We had squash blossoms. The fry on it was good. It was very light and crispy. It doesn’t really have much flavor to it though in my opinion. I’d much rather have very good tempura. Still, this was interesting to try if you’ve never had it.
I had the pappardelle because there was no other cheesy pasta available. I don’t like the flavor of pecorino cheeses and thats what most dishes had. It wasn’t memorable but the pasta itself was good.
The orecchiette was good, but the flavor reminded me of Chinese spicy flavors. For that reason alone, I’d rather just eat Chinese food for a fraction of the price.
I think the dishes were cooked beautifully, but just not for my taste.“

“When I first walked in, I questioned if I should stay or leave. However, it smelled very good so we decided to stay. My friend and I ordered two dishes to share. I ordered a pizza based off the chef recommendation and it was thin crust without outstanding taste. We also ordered the pennetye Alle vodka with sausage. The sauce was so amazingly good. The garlic bread was also fantastic. Very unique from most places garlic bread. Service was a little slow, but was worth the wait. Great job definitely will be back again soon.“

“YO! This pasta. OH MY GOSH. I got the angel hair with the pink sauce and … it was one of the best things to grace my lips. It. Was. So. Good. “I thoroughly enjoyed this charming, unpretentious establishment located near Venice Beach. The pasta served here is among the finest I have experienced in quite some time. The black truffle pasta, which was recommended, was truly exceptional. The owner was polite and helpful. “Happy New Year Y’all!!🥂✨🤘🏼🥳 As many of you know I’ve been playing piano and singing at Casa Ado in Venice for the last 3.5 years, for a total of 700+ shows. There have been two paintings with me in them, a painted recording of this era of my life! It is unclear what will be happening with the restaurant going forward, as there may be some ownership change. Everyone is sort of holding their breath, and for now, music has not been included in January of 2020. There is talk it could go either way in Feb. 🤷🏻♂️ Thank you all who have come and supported me these past few years on Washington Square and I will keep everyone posted as to what settles out in the next bit of time. Rigatoni Vodka ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The sauce is rich and a perfect blend of cheese and tomato, but you can get tired of eating too much of it. Garlic Shrimp⭐⭐⭐ The shrimp were fresh, but the portion was small (only 5 for $18) and the garlic flavor was not prominent enough. “Almost every employee has a thiqqq italian accent so big points on authenticity. We ordered the yellowtail grapefruit appetizer, pear and arugula salad, mushroom tagliatelle, and the seafood spaghetti. The pasta was extremely fresh and made in house, one of the greatest meals I’ve had in the South Bay. Service was executed brilliantly and the vibes were through the roof. I want to live at Stecca Taverna but they don’t allow that so I will just frequent whenever I can.“

“What a fantastic discovery. I was craving calzones and used to have a spot in Los Feliz which I would go out of my way for. After trying a few places which fell short of the mark in South Bay, I almost gave up on finding authentic Italian food locally. The search was worth it as this is now going to be one of my forever places to come on a regular basis. From the calzone, to the pizza, salads and even the Cannoli Siciliani Pistacchio, everything has been nothing short of amazing. To top it off, it’s family run and they are all the sweetest and most warm people I’ve encountered at any local restaurant. If you haven’t tried them yet, you need to stop by.“

“I stumbled upon this little gem while out for a walk, and I’m so glad I gave it a try after hearing locals raving about it back at my hotel. The calamari was cooked to perfection, and the clam chowder was so authentic it reminded me of home back in Nova Scotia. I even returned the next day for the seafood linguine, and I’m still thinking about it two days later! If you’re in the San Pedro area, this place is an absolute must-visit.“

“We were headed to our hotel from Venice Beach and craving Italian. Driving past Italy’s Little Kitchen, we decided to take a chance and try it out. When I tell you words can’t describe how delicious their food was. My 5yr old son rarely eats much of his food when dining out, he’s more of a snacked/small meals throughout the day and he ate 3/4 of his pizza. Below is my leftover Chicken Piccata and a sliver of their fresh bread. I didn’t think my food could get any better, but this late night snack was 100% better. The chicken & vegetables marinated in the capers & sauce. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop by. I promise you won’t regret.“

“We ended up at Lozio Osteria Pizzeria Bar completely by accident. My friends and I were looking for a new place to celebrate my birthday, somewhere we hadn’t been before, and this turned out to be such a great find.
Honestly, all the food was absolutely delicious. The truffle fries were especially amazing. We finished them so quickly that we had to order another round.
We had bruschetta, a charcuterie board, Caesar salad, fettuccine bolognese, and carbonara, and everything was spot on. For dessert, we ordered a pistachio cake. The portions were perfect for a group of five girls, and we left happy and full.
The cocktails were also great, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
And the service really made the experience. Our waiter had such a great sense of humor, kept joking with us, and truly lifted the whole mood of the evening.“
