“We ended up at Lozio Osteria Pizzeria Bar completely by accident. My friends and I were looking for a new place to celebrate my birthday, somewhere we hadn’t been before, and this turned out to be such a great find.

Honestly, all the food was absolutely delicious. The truffle fries were especially amazing. We finished them so quickly that we had to order another round.

We had bruschetta, a charcuterie board, Caesar salad, fettuccine bolognese, and carbonara, and everything was spot on. For dessert, we ordered a pistachio cake. The portions were perfect for a group of five girls, and we left happy and full.

The cocktails were also great, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

And the service really made the experience. Our waiter had such a great sense of humor, kept joking with us, and truly lifted the whole mood of the evening.“

“I really enjoyed my pasta here; it was quite soft, and the Bolognese sauce was solid. No wait at all, and the waiter was pretty attentive. One small suggestion: if you're going to bring out Parmesan cheese, a heaping bowl sort of undercuts its elegance compared to fresh grated. I don't really think it tastes different, personally, but Rivera seems to attract the kind of people who will care.“

“Our experience was amazing all around. Food was solid for the price with an amazing array of flavors. Our server ✨Dennis ✨was attentive and very friendly.

The pasta wasn’t over cooked and the flavors well rounded. We ordered the Caprese and Bread to start then got some Vodka Pastas and the Curry Bolognese. Finished it off with a dessert trio along with some fun drinks. Out played came out fast and overall had an enjoyable time. The atmosphere was lively and the restaurant itself was very spacious.

Would definitely recommend and will be coming back in the future. :D“

“I’ve been to Felix multiple times over the years, and in general, I think it’s a fantastic restaurant with consistently high-quality food. That’s why this review is disappointing to write.

The last two pasta dishes I’ve ordered have been underwhelming. My previous visit, the carbonara fell short, and this time the cacio e pepe was even more disappointing.

The cacio e pepe was overwhelmingly peppery, lacked the rich, creamy Pecorino Romano flavor that defines the dish, and tasted like it had little to no cheese. It was nothing like a proper cacio e pepe should be. I had just returned from Italy a few weeks ago, where I ate authentic cacio e pepe at small local trattorias, so I know exactly how beautifully simple and balanced this dish can be. Unfortunately, Felix’s version completely missed the mark. Considering the restaurant’s reputation and premium prices, I expected much more.

To make matters worse, the service at the bar was disappointing. Not once during the meal did anyone ask how the food was or whether everything was okay. A simple check-in could have given us the opportunity to share our concerns while we were there.

I genuinely hope the team takes this feedback constructively because Felix is still a great restaurant overall, and I’ve had many excellent meals here. That’s exactly why these last two visits have been so surprising. I hope they address these issues and bring the pasta back to the standard that made Felix such a standout in the first place.“

We ordered the Japanese pizza, which came burnt on the bottom, with very little cheese and unappealing arugula (even when we requested extra parmesan, they brought a minuscule portion). The warm olives were unpleasantly bitter, and the spaghetti was completely average. To make matters worse, the venue was overwhelmingly loud, and the crowded middle tables leave zero privacy, making it feel like everyone is seated together. Definitely not returning“

We had the Caprese and the Veggie and clearly we could have shared one sandwich as we ended up having half and then having the other half for dinner at home.

For five dollars extra you can upgrade and include a drink and a bag of potato chips. Very good food, the bread was fresh out of the oven and the ingredients were amazing.

Outside seating in a nice shaded patio. I definitely recommend.“

The only downsides were the small, wobbly table (we were actually moved twice) and the fact that it was very noisy inside—though that was to be expected on a Friday night. After trying a few places which fell short of the mark in South Bay, I almost gave up on finding authentic Italian food locally. There have been two paintings with me in them, a painted recording of this era of my life! It is unclear what will be happening with the restaurant going forward, as there may be some ownership change. Everyone is sort of holding their breath, and for now, music has not been included in January of 2020. “We went here for dinner on Monday evening. The place was easy to locate. Parking was underground and there were several spots available so overall got there in good spirits.

When we entered the restaurant, the server at the bar asked us to grab a few menus and seat ourselves. The restaurant was completely empty so we had a choice of tables to pick from! The inside of the restaurant was a little dark and dingy. The tables were old and overall, the inside appeared tired.

The server was at our table very quickly. We were the only client so we got his full attention! He was a very nice guy, very pleasant and friendly. We placed our drinks orders and they came out immediately. We then ordered a salad and a pizza to be split between the two of us.

The salad came out quickly and was excellent. Everything was fresh and the mozzarella cheese was very nice. The dressing was delicious as well.

Soon after, the pizza came out. The crust was absolutely amazing, almost perfect. Above all, it tasted amazing. As we were eating I tried to get the servers attention for a drink refill. That took some doing despite there not being anyone else - perhaps, it would have been easier if there were more clients and they would have been more attentive! Anyway, once I got his attention, the drink came along quickly!

Overall, we really enjoyed the meal. They have been around for 35 years and I feel that fact is reflected both in the quality of their food (very good leading to great success) and the furniture (really shows its age!!). I would certainly be coming back here anytime I want a quick meal/pizza and I recommend it strongly for anyone in the area looking to have good pizza.“

“One of my favorite places to go to whenever I visit family in Los Angeles. It’s my grandparents favorite place and has been since they opened. I’ve loved basically every meal I’ve gotten there and you really cannot go wrong with whatever you get. I highly recommend it here. Genuinely few places like it.“

“Charming Greek/Italian restaurant in San Pedro. Very home-town vibe. Calzones are rich and tasty, but bring a friend or get a box, because they are bigger than your head! Greek salad and mozzarella sticks were also a hit with the family. Service was great. Not really a place to zoom in and out of, but the ambiance invites you to slow down a bit and enjoy your food with friends or family.“

“We were headed to our hotel from Venice Beach and craving Italian. Driving past Italy’s Little Kitchen, we decided to take a chance and try it out. When I tell you words can’t describe how delicious their food was. My 5yr old son rarely eats much of his food when dining out, he’s more of a snacked/small meals throughout the day and he ate 3/4 of his pizza. Below is my leftover Chicken Piccata and a sliver of their fresh bread. I didn’t think my food could get any better, but this late night snack was 100% better. The chicken & vegetables marinated in the capers & sauce. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop by. I promise you won’t regret.“
