“Best Value, for a $7 price (Ralph's sells some of their cold, bread heavy, not so appetising sandwiches) you can get a hot sandwich with melted cheese - meat ball sandwich was great ( meat balls and sausage tasted great) or a baked potato full of toppings.

“Pizza was delicious, delivered hot and fresh. Cheese melted and toppings were flavorful, the tomato sauce was bursting with flavor. The best pizza I've had in years. Ordered delivery and was told 45 minutes but it came in 20 minutes or less.“

“This is a decent Italian restaurant. If you live far, it’s not worth the trip.

Parking is street and neighborhood parking in those cramped LA residential neighborhoods.

Restaurant seems small. It’s dimly lit and has a romantic atmosphere.

We had squash blossoms. The fry on it was good. It was very light and crispy. It doesn’t really have much flavor to it though in my opinion. I’d much rather have very good tempura. Still, this was interesting to try if you’ve never had it.

I had the pappardelle because there was no other cheesy pasta available. I don’t like the flavor of pecorino cheeses and thats what most dishes had. It wasn’t memorable but the pasta itself was good.

The orecchiette was good, but the flavor reminded me of Chinese spicy flavors. For that reason alone, I’d rather just eat Chinese food for a fraction of the price.

“The little plates are yummy. I love the pita bread that came with the hummus (Salatim plate). The other plates were good also. I loved the bread pudding (I think it's better than the best cake). What I like the most about Bacari, besides the beautiful ambiance, is the friendliest staff.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

Restaurant 101: greet guests quickly, offer them some wine / drinks, even if you’re delayed on taking their order. Also offer more salad options or appetizers and we would’ve easily ordered dessert if it was offered.“

“One of the best restaurants around. From the Yellow Tail Crudo to the Farmers Market Peas & Burrata di Puglia to the Salt Spring Mussels to the Duck Egg Pizza. “What a discovery!!! Trattoria Daly is great! In fact it's a real "find" in Lincoln Heights-- just east of downtown but totally convenient. So nice to be in a non-corporate friendly setting in a restaurant run by great people who care about their customers and are proud of what they offer. This neighborhood gem will attract foodies and friends and harkens the beginning of a mini-restaurant row near downtown, Keck Hospital, Dodger Stadium, among other neighborhoods in various directions. The owners were for many years part of the team at Pacific Dining Car-- these guys are well acquainted with high end service and food. What they've established in the past six months, is a friendly local spot with top quality food and service-- for unbelievably reasonable prices. The bill of fare is Italian-- excellent starters, super pastas, and entree's like rib-eye steak, salmon. You can also do a simple pizza night-- or make it a special occasion. I've spent a LOT of time in Italy, and I'm picky about Italian food. This is an excellent kitchen! The general atmosphere is like a "discovery" of that little off the beaten track gem. But word must have gotten out-- when we dined there on a Sunday night, the place was hopping! The visible to the house skilled kitchen was keeping up with the crowd of happy diners. Two decades of Pacific Dining Car (which didn't survive covid) made these guys the pros they are. You shouldn't have to "sell a kidney" to eat well-- and this place is proof. They are in process and waiting for their liquor license -- but you can bring your own vino-- (or pick up something at the Smart & Final down the street.) It's great to see professionals who are really good guys stir up the right ingredients-- warmth, welcome, excellent food, and outstanding service, and ample evidence that the American dream is still alive. “This is authentic down to the sexy owner Francesco with the beautiful accent. He made the heck out of my cappuccino with a hint of house made vanilla and cinnamon. He deftly stirred and measured all the while answering my questions just so I could hear him speak.
I also got the fritatta with zucchini and other delicious veggies. O.g! Do, savory and fluffy. They have so many items on the menu from pastas to decadent desserts and they even have imported Italian sparkling water and still. If you wanna feel transported to a country and romanticize what your taste buds are experiencing, this is the place for you. There is some seating outside and you can people watch but the star of all of this is incredible food just the way his beloved Grandmother made.“

He loved his steak and eggs, steak was Devine and I loved my chick pea soup. Always have the panne cotta and the cherry gelato and an espresso in their delightful patio and you’ve been to Italy!“

“When I first walked in, I questioned if I should stay or leave. However, it smelled very good so we decided to stay. My friend and I ordered two dishes to share. I ordered a pizza based off the chef recommendation and it was thin crust without outstanding taste. We also ordered the pennetye Alle vodka with sausage. The sauce was so amazingly good. The garlic bread was also fantastic. Very unique from most places garlic bread. Service was a little slow, but was worth the wait. Great job definitely will be back again soon.“

Not a big fan of sitting on stools as the limited amount of tables were taken. Highly recommended however as it's far better value than going to some overpriced restaurant in downtown LA.
