Romano Cucina is a very classic Italian restaurant with a dark, moody, and slightly run-down atmosphere that is bordering on nostalgic. The food is amazing and the service is amazing. This little gem offers large portions of very delicious food, including the calimari appetizer, lasagna, and eggplant parmesan. The calimari is some of the BEST, light and crispy with scrumptious marinara sauce. The pesto is always amazing. The ricotta is a must-try, and the pasta marinara and meatballs are superb. The Alfredo sauce is literal perfection. The covered patio area has heaters that make it comfortable even on chilly evenings. It is a perfect date spot and a good casual date night location. Great alcohol selections and a love the wine Wednesday half of a bottle wine special.
