This place is tiny, but fantastic!!! Live music, eclectic decor and no dive bar smell! The restrooms are extremely clean! Mikey is awesome!!! Much love! I live far but will be happy to walk into this spot any time!
I've been going to Mother's for years. This Tavern is small but cozy. It's a bikers bar but everyone there are really Chill and Cool. The drinks are good and reasonably inexpensive. They don't serve food but that's ok. Visit if you want a change of pace and people there are really cool.
The entertainment was excellant. Did not eat you can eat anywhere but you cannot experience the true Biker Bar experience with live music you can dance to and meet people who just wanna have fun.

MOTHER'S TAVERN is a long-standing beach favorite, recently renovated from its rowdy past. While it no longer offers food, the cold beer and friendly staff are reliable. The bar can be rented for events, with the option to bring in outside food and music vendors. The bar staff, including Michelle and Mikey, ensure guests are well taken care of. A nearby pizza place can deliver if needed. The atmosphere is welcoming, making it a great spot for a personalized party or to enjoy live music with a drink in hand. Many visitors enjoy the live bands, like Dylan James, who often plays popular songs such as Dreams and Tennessee Whiskey, and encourages tipping the bartenders. The place is a chill spot to ride to on PCH, with good bands playing and a cool atmosphere. Though food isn't a main feature, a smash burger cart appears on weekends, and the friendly service keeps guests coming back. It’s a cool place to stop in before heading to another reservation, where everyone is super friendly and nice.
