“Came here on a whim for a solo date. My server, Logan - was incredibly knowledgeable about wine and helped me choose an amazing seafood pasta off the menu. At first I wasn’t sure about the squid ink, but it was probably one of the best pastas I have ever eaten. The affogato for dessert was delicious as well.
Side note: They were playing cool music, early Black Sabbath off Vol. 4 🤘🏼

“Between 1983 and 1995 I ate lunch almost daily at to your restaurant. In 95 I moved away from Southern California. When ever I visit the area I stop in for a bite. Best pizza in the world! The pasta is excellent. I now live in the Lake Tahoe area and there's nothing even close to it here or anywhere else for that matter (and lve been to NY and Jersey). Everything I've ever ordered there has been fantastic.“

“Came in last Sunday with a few friends and my 13 month old baby. The owner was very nice and the food was superb. We had pizza, bolognese, spaghetti with lobster, and the rigatoni. The spaghetti with lobster & clam is the must try, they were able to incorporate the lobster jus into the pasta, with just the perfect amount of seasoning. And oh, did I mention all pastas here are made fresh in house. Will definitely be back.

“We ordered the pesto, sausage and mushroom risotto, arancini and the cannolis. Everything was absolutely delicious and made with care. The main dishes were made fresh while we waited. The canollis were filled when we ordered them which kept the shells crispy. The details matter which makes their food amazing. And the owner and son are so nice. Great place. We will be back.“

“Unbelievable experience! The entire time we felt like family and your can truly tell that the chef pours his heart and soul into his food. “A group of friends got together for a retirement dinner celebration. The food, service, and ambiance were outstanding. Our server was helpful with appetizers (calamari and shared salads) and wine recommendations - including suggested half portions for some of the larger pasta entrees. “I recently had the pleasure of dining at Romano Cucina in Newport Beach, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, everything was awesome, quick and efficient. The service was outstanding, with an extremely friendly staff that made us feel right at home.
Now let's talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! Every dish we tried was a delightful experience, capturing the authentic flavors of Italian cuisine. As a bonus, my 4-year-old, who is usually quite picky, loved the food as well! Finding a restaurant that caters to both adults and children can be a challenge, but Romano Cucina nailed it!

“I work nearby and got a slice while waiting for the bus. I got a slice of the mafia pizza and I will say this food is superb. I later ordered after I got paid and the pizza was delicious and arrived timely. It was even amazing and fresh even two days after we initially bought the pizza. 10/10, would eat here again and spend a bit extra just for the authenticity.“
