“Cambodian street food in a laid back and easy going cafe. I ended up getting the Phnom Penh noodles. It came with some shrimp and pork and served with rice noodles and a flavorful broth. It’s similar to Pho and just as comforting. It’s located in a plaza so parking can be a bit busy but free at least. Service was a bit slow but it’s family owned and authentic!“

Every member on staff greeted our group as we came in, even welcoming some of us back, drinks came out efficiently and were all made perfectly, each having a separate cute message. “I usually order on the app ahead of time. You can park in the designated pick up spots or use drive thru or go in and get your order. I use the pick up spots because the drive thru line can get tied up with gas station traffic.

“BREAKFAST BURRITO!!! O-M-G! Probably top 2 in Long Beach right now, and I love Breakfast Burritos. The res salsa they have adds the perfect touch of spice as well. Very well done overall. As far as the coffee goes, didn’t really stand out. It’s good, not great. A little above average, but nothing out of the ordinary. But that Burrito on the other hand. Yeah, go try it. Its amazing.“

For the chocolate latte, I wish there was a slightly more chocolate-forward taste, but I am nitpicking. Mixing cocoa powder could probably enhance the flavor.“

“My roommate decided to try the coffee after hearing about it through a friend in CA (we are in RI). My roommate says it is by far one of the best coffees he has ever tasted. Very aromatic! “I discovered a new go-to coffee shop whenever I’m in town in the future here in LBC🤙🏼On my first visit, I was looking for a coffee shop that serves Affogato and the search led me here. It was a wise choice. I enjoyed the Affogato and tried the traditional Turkish coffee while I was there. WOW! That was so good! On our way out the owner and I had a short conversation about Philippines. He told me next time I come for Turkish coffee, I should also get baklava along with it. So this morning my baby sister and I went back. I did try the baklava along with the traditional Turkish coffee as suggested from my first visit. That was a good recommendation! I had baklavas on my visits in Greece and I would put up the baklava in this coffee shop with the baklavas of Greece. So very good! YUMM! Also, it has a great ambiance to enjoy sipping your coffee and munching on the sweet treats! Don’t think about it anymore! Just come on in and give this Coffee Station a try. I guarantee that you will love it.“

“This place is simply fantastic. I tried several of the teas (get it with honey) and each was excellent. Service was very friendly and helpful - these are good people running an uplifting business.

There's plenty of space to work and the Wifi is excellent. Not every table has plugs but there are still enough plugs so no issues at all. Parking is fine - I think it could get tight at some times of the day but street parking would not be an issue at all. If you want a place to work with excellent coffee and tea, come here.“

“I stopped by this donut place the other morning and it honestly made my day. The moment I walked in, the smell of fresh donuts filled the whole shop. You could tell everything was made fresh because the trays were constantly being restocked.

I ordered a glazed donut and a cup of coffee, and the donut was warm, soft, and perfectly sweet. The glaze had that light crisp on the outside but melted as soon as I took a bite. It paired perfectly with the coffee.

The staff were really friendly too. They greeted everyone who walked in and made the place feel welcoming. It’s one of those simple spots that reminds you how good a fresh donut and good service can be. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m craving something sweet.“

“Coffee, Matcha and teas are amazing. Little pricey but worth it. I've had the Spanish latte and Island matcha which I would come back and get as often as I can. Line is long but move fairly quickly and order cones iut quickly. Lots of outdoor seating that is in the shade. “The food was fantastic! The owner, Laith? (I completely forgot to ask his name!), was very hospitable and friendly. We got the beef shawarma and gyro. Both were very tasty, but I preferred the gyro. The garlic sauce and hummus were outstanding. Everything we ordered was delicious. My husband liked the Original shake too. He said it’s like drinking banana bread in the best way! 😂 It was a bit warm without AC, but be tolerable. We will be coming back! 😊“

“Came here while attending a conference at the Westin, looking for interesting coffee… and they certainly have that here. They had two different coffees on drip and I chose one from Uganda - I think my first time I’ve had a coffee from there. It was quite good. They have coffees from like 12 different countries they roast themselves at another location in bags for purchase. Really nice spaces indoors and out. Definitely recommend.“

“One of the best spots for coffee and truly exceptional food. This small shop was located walking distance from where we were staying and became a morning ritual to walk to.

The coffee is on point and the food is fresh. The first time I tried the breakfast tacos with chorizo and I was just in heaven. But I was even more amazed when I got the BLT on the homemade focaccia bread. Oh my goodness, the bread was a perfect mesh of crispy outside and soft inside. I have no idea how that did it, but I was seriously in love with this sandwich and am still thinking about it as I write this. The tomato was fresh and the lettuce was crisp and the entire thing was a culinary masterpiece (for a sandwich). The aioli on it was perfect.

The coffee is also great and I tried both a mocha as well as their regular coffee.

Everyone is extremely nice and they go out of their way for your experience. Many cyclists stop here after a ride, so keep an eye out as the place fills up!“

“We had breakfast at Zuzu’s Petals on a Saturday morning and arrived around 8:30 a.m. Parking took a little patience—we circled the block once or twice—but we found a spot within about a block of the restaurant.

There was about a 10–15 minute wait to order. The pace here is definitely relaxed, but that was part of the charm. I was catching up with a friend, and everyone waiting in line seemed to be in a good mood, so it felt more like part of the experience than an inconvenience.

After ordering at the counter, you receive a number and the staff brings your food to your table. The food wasn’t fast, but it also wasn’t excessively slow—it arrived at a comfortable, leisurely pace that fit the overall vibe of the restaurant. We sat on the covered sidewalk patio, which was pleasant and shaded, and by the time we finished, the line had grown all the way around the corner. Clearly this place is popular.

I ordered the skillet with drip coffee. Everything was well prepared and satisfying, and my total came to about $26 before tip, which felt pretty typical for the area.

Our server wasn’t constantly checking in or refilling coffee automatically, but whenever we needed something and got their attention, they were happy to help with a smile.

The ube latte was a nice balance of ube sweetness, espresso, and milk. Most places will focus more on the ube flavor, but this one had a nice balance of all ingredients. I had two croissants with my drinks. The pastries have a bite and crumble of freshness and an unctuousness of buttery goodness. I'd score this 4.1/5 as there isn't a wide selection to choose from, but what is there are the familiar favorites. The staff are courteous and helpful throughout the morning hustle and bustle. They take time to help you choose your drinks by understanding your preferences. I'd give the service 4.3. The music is as thoughtful and intentional as the drinks, adding a calm and comforting tone to your start of the day as the cacophony of espresso drips, text message dings, and chatter fill the space. I'd give the atmosphere a 4.25/5. Its menu is not as intuitively placed as one would like it to be when walking into a coffee shop. I had to scan around for longer than I normally would for a menu. Parking can be a bit of a task as well, but luckily spots become quickly available as people grab their orders and leave. All-in-all, Memento delivers on many fronts, but loses points for menu placement. However, it's all worth it. I'd like to come back to try the rest of the menu since I know where it is now.“

“hey! so i’ve been going to this coffee shop a lot since i don’t know when, and i thought it was my duty now to leave a review. the people who work here are amazing first of all. i once accidentally bought the wrong matcha tin and they only charged me the difference for the one i wanted, instead of having to pay a ton for a new tin. the drinks here are great, especially the matcha which is nice cuz not every place can make a good matcha. also a great atmosphere and i see people getting work done here all the time. definitely recommend, coming from a regular!“

“I wanted to try out this cafe since I was in the area. It's located in front of a busy intersection in a small plaza with free parking so it can be easy to miss if you're not actively searching for it. However, once you go inside, the interior is so cute, clean, and minimal!

I ordered the einspanner (whole milk) and a croffle. The drink was really good, not too sweet, and pretty strong! I wish I had more people with me to try other drinks since their menu looked great. The croffle was warmed up for me and came out the same time as they called for my drink which I thought was a nice touch. It was sweet and slightly sticky where small bits would be stuck to my teeth but overall delicious.“
