“Dave's is one spot you're not gonna wanna miss!! It's a burger shack in a gas station parking lot, and it's one of the best meals in the area. The people who work here are great at what they do and really nice. It's really hard to find a good patty melt on rye, and this is one of the best ones in all of LA/Orange. Seasoned fries are so good I eat half of them without even a thought. Places like this are rarer by the year, and Dave's is a gem. Support them often and tip well!“

Free food? I'm in! Especially with no purchase necessary! Receiving a notification email about the free The Hangover Breakfast Burger valid all day only on 2/9/26, I couldn't wait to visit the nearest Carl's when the time came. I used to be a frequent Carl's Jr. customer, when one was located in Cerritos, during my high school years. Alas, since it closed decades ago, I've rarely visited another location, even though there is one in nearby Lakewood & at the Long Beach Town Centre. Shopping at Whole Foods 365 at LBX, I swung by this Carl's Jr. for my free burger.

The Hangover Breakfast Burger-
Stuffed with an all-beef patty, 2 Cherrywood bacon strips, processed American cheese, scrambled egg, hash rounds & ketchup, the breakfast burger was filling & satisfying. Virtually no wait, as I pulled up the QR code promo in the app, and burgers were already prepared and warming under heat lamps. Very old school. Reminds me of the days when fast food restaurants would assembly line their burgers, and have them under heat lamps for God know how long, awaiting the next customer.

Service was good. The gentleman behind the register was friendly, and as previously stated, no wait. The password protected restroom was clean, as was the restaurant, itself.

Keep these great promos coming, Carl's Jr! I enjoyed my free The Hangover Breakfast Burger, and I think I should visit more often, ordering a Famous Star, Superstar or Western Bacon Cheeseburger, doused with House dressing, just like the old days. Plus, I can't possibly forget their Crisscut (now waffle) fries. Those, along with Arby's curly fries, were my favorite fast food fries.

“THIS PLACE IS AMAZING in the best possible way. Today I went for lunch with my 90 year old mother, my wife, and our two teenagers - a pretty diverse group, and not real easy to please. Everybody was extremely happy with what they ordered - the only complaint was from my wife, saying afterwards that she had "eaten too much" but couldn't stop because it was so delicious! She had the "heart stopper" burger, which includes bacon and a fried egg. My son and I often split two plates so we can try more things, and the pastrami sandwich and Frisco burger were both GREAT. I should have ordered the Pastrami on grilled rye - personal preference - but the roll it was served on was still very fresh. My daughter ordered the pastrami as well, and she loved hers. Grandma got the Reuben, and is looking forward to finishing it for dinner (huge sandwich for an old lady). We also tried the fried zucchini - best I've had in many years. Great fries and onion rings as well. I think that this may have just become our new family joint for a quick bite. My only regret is that I didn't find it earlier...... I spoke briefly with the manager, and he was really nice - working hard, because of the lunch rush, but was clearly committed to providing great food and great service.“

“Last week I had a burger and fries and today I had the comisky dog and chili cheese fries. The burger and fries were delicious. I'm originally from Chicago so I know my stuff and while the Comisky wasn't an authentic Chicago dog, it was still pretty good. The chili cheese fries were great. The chili was meaty with alot of beans ( real chili does not have beans but I digress) and generous.“

“Local & neighborhood burger joint. Great prices on special promotions items and not bad on the size (just smaller than regular size). They have drive through and indoor service. Small but cozy and clean place. Staff are nice and friendly. Foods are not bad, quite good. The meats are tasty and well cooked. Overall, enjoyed the foods and the services.“

I don't normally write a review but do rate at times and be that I was in this industry the majority of my life I try and rate fair with as it should be the expectation of customer service. So, I placed an order through Postmates which is always convenient and usually great experience. This time I was waiting for 1hour and a half but was trying to be patient figuring it was lunch time, probably extremely busy. I too had a child waiting for food so I thought I should call Shake shack to see if there was an issue or if it had been picked up already, now the employee when I called was very polite but as I ordered through third party there was not much she can do but hand it off to or through the manager. When she asked I was about to say no its ok, well I just didn't want to make a big deal just wanted to be able to rell my daughter what happened. Before i can say its ok the employee was already in transition to the manager, the manager got on the phone we had a brief recap she explained because the order was through a 3rd party her hands more or less are tired besides when we hang up, I call Postmates from my side and she call from her side see if we can get the situation handled and get some people fed. So we hung up both called and in a matter of minutes got it handled. Not only that when we spoke the manager let me know that the food would be remade and when it arrived the food was hot and fresh, delivered promptly, as well as a couple coupons for a burger and fries. Customer service is so key and wow Kimmie in Long Beach nailed it. Great job, Great attitude, Great experience. I ordered the next day as well and didn't use the coupons yet could of but still spent 60 glady. Thank you greatly. I will be coming in to use the coupons and thank you personally may possibly inquire about career opportunities as Shake Shack team is a Company I would be happy to be a part of showing true pride to this industry and the good tgat can be done through it. “Can’t go wrong here. Top notch workers serving delicious food that is sure to hit the spot! Drive-thru gets busy often and can back up into the street on Santa Fe though ! Walk-up looks like it gets a lot of foot traffic ! Highly recommend ! This is my go to, quick diner food fix for my family every once and awhile as a treat yourself reward ! “Great service. Hole in the wall type of place. A bit pricey to be honest for the type of place that it is. Its rundown, looks like renovations is a foreign concept. But I will say the food is on point. I paid $13 for a breakfast burrito. Burger combos are around $15 same as most places but most places that charge this look better and have better seating. Best for take out in my opinion. Their prices should be 15% lower.“

“I thought I wasn’t going to like this place. It was somewhat late and I was looking up burgers near my area and this popped up online. I ordered and the place was a bit weird itself, but the food was great. The tots are amazing and the ranch was great. The burger I got was awesome and it made me so full. Will definitely try this place again. The only downside is parking.“

“Loved finding this place! Not too far from the harbor too. The animal fries were delicious, the spicy ranch chik'n burger was great and the Thai bowl yummy. Only thing...the mineral water is still and in plastic which I never order (it doesn't state this on the tablet) and the hibiscus tea did not have ice. You order on a tablet, so no one to talk to which is fine, except not knowing about the water.“

“They have most of the same things the Omegas in Orange has. I tried something new and was happy with it. Which I think is more of a me thing. It was 9:30 when I got there and they close at 10pm. The staff was still very nice and attentive. Didn't try to rush me.“

“Lemongrass is a must try! Saw them at Smorgasburg this past weekend but they have a location in Long Beach. The Khmer smash burger was juicy, charred, and packed with flavor. The lemongrass paste gives the classic smash burger a make over with a refreshing Cambodian twist. Everyone at the pop up was super kind and welcoming. You gotta stop by whether it’s at their pop up or Long Beach location!“
