“By far the best califries you can get and the best churros.Califries are amazing cause you can pick 2 meats. They have a wonderful bean and cheese burrito. I enjoy that they have pickled carrots and jalapeño, beans, cucumber and a variety of salsas.“
“I have been coming to Joliza's since they opened and I am pleased to say they still have excellent food and service. Had the beef cheek tacos with an horchata today, but I've tried everything on the menu. Tacos were packed with juicy meat and the horchata was so creamy. The owner topped off my horchata while I was eating, which was so nice. It's little service touches like that that keep me coming back. Tho tbh I think I'd still go back if they were rude because that's how tasty it is.“
“One of the Best Al pastor in town!Corn tortillas are made on the spot, huge al pastor meat roasting on the spot. I love all their green & red salsa, red salsa def have a kick, but it's good if you like it spicy. Their burritos and quesadillas are also good, huge! Great service, friendly staffs, line goes by pretty quickly, just be patient, worth the wait. They take cash & zelle.Follow on IG to get updated times and locations through out so cal.“
“Everything here was chef’s kiss! My visit was in person and I ordered the Beets Me Burger! The Beets Me burger was so delicious and I loved the fact that it was made from mushrooms and beets. The flavor was amazing and the brioche bun was nicely toasted. I ordered the Biscuit Bomb and through UberEats and it is The Bomb! The biscuit was nice and soft and all of the flavors paired well together. The Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup did not disappoint! I will definitely be back for another visit whenever I’m in this area!“
“Nice little casual place to grab a bite. You order your food at the food truck window and can go into a separate building to sit down. Tacos were tasty and the best part was having different topping options, a couple salsas, pickled onions, Cilantro, Radish, cucumber etc. We were on our way from Orange County up to the Bay Area and wanted to eat quickly to keep driving. Glad we stopped here as it was really close off the freeway.Carne asada and al pastor tacos were delicious. Also tried the suadero but they weren't really my thing. Would come again!“
“Delicious food. Must try! Salsa bar is the best around and so is their food. Burritos are $10 right now and tacos are 2.50 each. Fair prices. Their portions are generous. Will continue to come back. Been coming here for at least a year or so.“
“As someone from San Diego I always claimed our tacos are better but this food truck changed my mind. This is the best food truck for tacos and they are super affordable. every time I'm in LA I will make sure to drive down to Long Beach just to get to them fireeeee!“
“I do not know you, have never ate their.I read on the news your kindness in helping an elderly woman being attacked and robbed. You were badly hurt trying to help a stranger. I wish we had more people like you!!Get well soon, and God Bless.Floyd“
“Delicious casual local spot! We got the enchiladas, tacos (birria were the best), tamales, and horchata. The owner was very friendly and patient with our limited Spanish. Indoor seating for ~15 and outdoor tables for ~10 people. Would highly recommend!!“
“Let me tell you this was very delicious to enjoy. I normally have a very high expectation when it comes to Mexican food but this definitely hit that. I ordered the tacos, the chicken, the Carne Asada and their adobada!! I was so impressed by their chicken because it’s not easy to really pull off and it was really delicious. I tried there mulitas in adobada I straight lick the plate clean! Also had their Carne Asada quesadilla and their latte and they were so so good. I even tried their Michelada and it was scrumptious! service was super friendly. Everyone was such great energy. And the restaurant is beautiful. It’s clean very well. Decorated everything branded very well.Oh, and they even make their own tortillas!!!“
“Went here for a business lunch, had the squash tacos which were a very tasty vegetarian option. They were accommodating of our ~15 person group last minute, helping to move tables on the patio together for us. Got food out in a reasonable amount of time for our large group.“
“Awesome fish tacos (chicharrón de pescado, smoked tuna or Zarandeando). They open at 8am on Sundays and their breakfast B.E.T. burrito is delicious. They have several vegan options (bowls, tacos and burritos). Parking is easy, and there's plenty of street parking. Live music on Fridays afternoon. Great for kids and also pet-friendly.“
“The food was good. The service was great.I had an order or Carne Asada fries, along with a chicken quesadilla and a cucumber pineapple agua(water). The fries were well seasoned, and the meat was cooked well, not dry or bland. The chicken quesadilla was also good, nothing too amazing or out of this world. Typical chicken quesadilla. The cucumber pineapple water was a bit sweet for my taste but good. Their salsas were actually pretty good in flavor. They had a strong lemony taste. The guacamole was literally nothing other than mashed to avocado with some lemon. But it didn't have the Pico de gallo that you'd normally expect in a guacamole salsa.“
“Best pizza in town, in my opinion. I always come here for 3 slices of pizza, the pizza tastes better than Little Caesars, my opinion. Great service. The slices are descent and can't beat the price per slice of pizza unless you go to Costco, but why drive so far of your close to this great pizza spot.“
“We got breakfast burritos, sausage and machaca. Really good, and we both got chips and a generous bag of salsa, ketchup, and tapatio. The horchata is very cinnamonny, which I really love. Looking forward to returning for a non-breakfast meal.“
“This restaurant is excellent! We ordered the Mahi Mahi bowl, a Tuna Steak, side order of coconut shrimp and a fish taco and the total came to $42 with tip! The tuna steak size was huge and cooked to perfection! And the bowl had tons of fresh ingredients and good size avocado to boast. We couldn’t believe this restaurant. Truly worth a visit if you’re in town :-)“
“Recently joined the "Toogoodtowaste" app and decided to log in to see what was offered in the surrounding areas and this place popped up. Ended up ordering the 5.99 "surprise" box and you pick up within a certain time frame. Ended up getting a dozen and a half of donuts! Most were glazed which are not my favorite but they were good nonetheless. I gave about an entire dozen to my neighbors downstairs cause the quantity was just too much.“
“This is my go to spot on Taco Tuesday and a couple other days a week if I can afford it. Even though all goods are purchased at an all time high and wages being stagnant, I by a bunch of tacos and hum when I devour them. No Taco truck brings me into heaven when I eat these al pastor tacos. When I undulge into 6 al pastor tacos there is nothing but peace and tranquility as I take each bite. My children live it too. The young lady that takes the orders is super nice along with (I believe) the owner. I get a kick out of the guy that takes my order he just seems so happy he bounces up and down and says your total will be ONLY....(then the price). That tickles my tummy to death The lady will totally have a conversation with my kids. To me that is service because not only do my kids feel heard and my order gets placed.... I get good tacos to eat. I appreciate this Taco truck and the folks working as hard as they do to provide food and good service.Parking: The location is at an autoshop on pch and atlantic... there is decent street parking.Kid-friendliness: The lady that took my order was great to my kidsWheelchair accessibility: It's flat terrain“
“So me my wife & youngest son wanted to try out a different restaurant. As we drove around town my son said let's try that place, without any questions I pulled into the parking lot & said let's see what they have...WOW, they have everything, and when I say everything I mean everything. From soups to burritos to tacos and tortas. Let's start with the customer service - AMAZING spot on very helpful, I had questions about different food options .Food - Flavorful, great taste & very fresh ingredients meat was very tasty and juicy .Yelp family let's try our local spots & give support To little restaurants that give so much to our communities.“
“This place has amazing tacos! My personal favorites are the birria and al pastor. The tortillas are handmade which just make the tacos even more flavorful. This place even has tasty and spicy salsas. Overall this place is a 10/10. Better than any restaurant.“
“First time in southern California ( landed in LAX) was driving down to San Diego for a job and really wanted to try some tacos. And found this golden gem on the way. Nice people, amazing tacos ( that remind you of Mexico) highly recommend to try it!“
“Great food. We tried Camarones Azul (bacon wrapped shrimp & crab meat), beef quesadilla, tacos, chicken tenders with fries and Agua fresca. Freshly made / grilled and delicious. Highly recommended ?.Kid-friendliness: The kids love the chicken tenders with fries and cheese sticks.Parking: Street parking“
“It's hard to find birria de chivo most places have birria de res. This birria is good! I've tried birria en caldo, birria quesadilla, birria queso taco so far and they all been awesome, they add a good amount of birria so you'll be full or even leftover, the hand made tortilla is good as well. The macha salsa is good with a nice kick of spice. Price wise it's ok not great but then again everything has gone up, the staff is real nice and friendly I highly recommend this spot!“
“Tasty little place on a corner in Long Beach, great little spot for Mexican food, they do have a small sit down area, but more like a self serve sit down area, no waitress or waiter. you order your food, wait for your number to be called & either leave or sit in the small covered patio with picnic benches. Place is a cash only business, & if you forget to bring cash, they have their own ATM on the premises for your convenience.“
“Very good very delicious love the place and the people very freindly I recommend anyone in the long beach area to come try this place had a couple of different dishes camarones campechanos and a costa azul also the langostinos are one of the best !!!“
“This is hands down the number one spot to eat at Locally The El Pastor burrito with everything on it is my go to favorite on my off days not only is a salsa perfect and spicy to the tea the meat is high-quality and the love put into the food is superior I highly suggest you give it a shot !“
“It's been awhile since I've eaten here, but I did remember enjoying it last time I was here. Decided to check it out again and bring my daughter. We were definitely not disappointed. There are so many different options on the menu, so you are bound to find something you like. I ordered The Couch (2 eggs, 2 bacon & 2 sausage, super spuds & pancakes). Everything was cooked perfect and delicious. My daughter ordered the chicken fried steak with a biscuit. She raved at the homemade taste of the biscuit. They clearly use high quality ingredients in all of their food. The servers were all so nice & attentive, and the restaurant was very quaint with a diner appeal. We look forward to returning so we can try some of the other yummy breakfast items.“
“I ordered form here on DoorDash and I am so happy I did. I ordered three tacos birria, boracoba and chicken. All where good but the chicken was a little dry. The salsa were not spicy but packed with flavor. If it would have took it up 3 more notches I'd spice ya girl would have sang. I got the elote. Boooomb! I also ordered a carne asada quesadilla. Loved it. Overall I've been wanting to try this food truck because every time I drive by it the line is long. I'm happy I gave it a go because it was delicious. I will definitely return whenever I'm craving some good ole tacos“
“The tacos are bomb! Ever since my girlfriend and I tried this place out, we haven't gone back to our other taco trucks in our area. The salsas are carefully made and taste consistent each time. Idk what the orange one is, but that has to be their signature coz that sh**s fire! Each taco has a bit of guac so it just makes it even better. And the texture of the tortilla is soft yet holds everything together.I recommend Tacos, Burrito, and the Asada Fries***“
“I love tacos from Pantera. They have the best masa ever. Freshly made tortillas as you order. I don’t think they’re stingy with the meat at all, IMO its the perfect amount so you can put some onions cilantro and the delicious salsas on it. I have been eating along with my family at Tacos Pantera for many months now. And we will keep coming back! Highly recommend. Their tortillas are unlike any other I’ve had.“
“This place is legit for real! Ordered a carnitas torta and it was loaded up with crispy cruchy carnitas and had the right amount of lettuce and beans. They provide onions and cilantro on the side so you can add as much as you like. The avocado and green salsa are some of the tastiest I have had.“
“the taste and quality really vary dependent on who is cooking. the quality seems to be degrading as they have doubled the prices in the last few years. I understand that costs have gone up nationally, so they have to charge more, but cutting corners isn't something that I appreciate. They have been out of red sauce for over a week, so I'm very led to believe that they don't make much of their food fresh daily anymore. The burrito I just ordered is extremely salty, which can often happen if you use frijoles that may have been cooked and reheated multiple times. I don't really see any beans in my burrito, but they are there somewhere thru the overwhelming amount of rice. As I've had really great experiences in the past, I'm rating 3 stars even tho today's experience was lower. The chicken Tinga quesadilla was very tasty and the Sopes were great. this restaurant used to have daily specials that often included daily Guisados (various Mexican stews) but they stopped that a long time ago. many items are often out of stock and not available for periods of time, so I recommend calling in your order so you don't waste your time trying to find parking just to find that your favorite items aren't available. Will update review if/when things get better or worse.“
“Grandma lives up the block so we ordered and picked it ups.We ordered the 4x4 4 quesobirria 4 taco dorado 4 consume It was very good. I would have to say it was delicious. My mom who's nvr had birria said it quite good. It was not gamy. We will be bck...“
“Best tacos in Southern California! if you visit Long Beach you have to stop by here. Forget about the street tacos it's dangerous you don't know what you're eating in the street, this is an establishment that's been here for many years clean and checked by the health department.“
“We're staying at an AirBnB locally and took a walk around the block, running into this shop at lunchtime. It's a bit of a dive, but plenty clean to all appearances. Good tacos at a reasonable price and they didn't gouge on the soda and water. Good chicken and al pastor. Carne asada a bit weak (as others have mentioned), but decent. We both enjoyed the inexpensive and satisfying lunch.Parking: It's a small lot shared with the sports bar to the north, but has 5 or 6 spots adjacent to the building. Ins and outs might be challenging at such a primary intersection (we walked so didn't test this thought)“
“Delicious legit tacos and burritos. The nice thing about this place during the Covid era is it's designed for take-out service. The ordering counter is outside on the storefront. So plenty of fresh moving air while you check out the menu. The location is surrounded by a lot of gritty hard-working businesses and an expanse of trucking. The folks inside are friendly and provide service with a smile.“
“My first impressions was wow! Carne asada burrito is LEGIT! The Flavor, the size and the meat was so good! Finally a place that has everything I've been looking for.... Oscar steered me in the right direction when he told me to get "Asada" in my burrito, the hot sauce it's freaking good( always important when comes to a burrito)meat has great flavor. It's hard to find a place like this, but they do exist, This is my new "go to spot" this is the "needle in a haystack" in my bookI will definitely be patronizing this spot for a long time! Thanks Oscar appreciated the advice!“
“I absolutely love this place. There's a lot of taco places around but taco loco appears to be the one where they sell cheaper and BETTER tacos. Wet burritos also appear to be much cheaper than the ones nearby as well. I'm just saying. There's no real point of eating any of the other Mexican places nearby when you have this OG place that's been standing there for 40-50+ years. Absolutely do recommend checking this place out.“
“Finally tried this spot after seeing mixed reviews and it always looking quiet inside. Cashier was super friendly and it was incredibly easy to order. We got the Famous Rolled Tacos and a Surf-and-Turf Burrito which both were absolutely delicious! The food was not filled with typical fillers such as beans and rice and was nicely packed with plenty of well seasoned proteins. The Rolled Tacos had shredded beef inside and topped within lettuce, pico, cheese, carne asada and shrimp... yum! And the Burrito had thick angus steak pieces and shrimp. Super excited to come back because it gives us a variation from the local taco trucks!“
“Before traveling to L.A. I googled best places to eat. Tacos LA Carreta was one of the suggestions. So after a full day of activities we decided to give it a try. Thank goodness we did! Best Tortas and tacos I ever had!! We will definitely make this a go-to for sure.“
