Update: 3 years later and this place is still one of my favorite places 🥰
We ordered dinner from here today and last week. Food is always clean, light, and yummy! I love their bowls and tacos. My 5-year-old is addicted to their shrimp skewers!
Manager was awesome today. He service was outstanding!
By the way, portions are big compared to price! You feel full because of the amount of protein, and sometimes you have some food left in your bowl.

One thing I'd change about California Fish Grill is the plastic food containers... I believe healthy food should be served in healthier containers.

Fresh. What really lacks here and at most fast food these days, the priority of the drive through. We ate here for lunch at 1330. Every employee was focused on serving the drive thru and they had at least 5 customers waiting in the dinning room to order. For once I wish there was a oder kiosk. Oh wait there was, but it wasn't working...“

“I love it here and I have never had an issue until today, but that has nothing to do with the staff or the business. This individual pokes me in my arm to get my attention, and I told him that my ears work just fine and if he would like to gain it to speak. Clearly since I was watching something on my phone that it would be understood that my ears were just fine. I didn’t even have headphones in. I called the sheriffs department and they had a firm talk with this individual. This individual was talking all this church and God stuff with people, and when I told him to keep his hands off of me, his true character emerged.“

“A week ago I had a misunderstanding with the type of meat in my burritos I called and they resolved my issue by replacing my burritos. I was about 45 mins away after realizing but they were able to help and I was grateful about the resolution and I came to redeem my burritos they were so fresh and delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful I did feel a bit off redeeming it and I did feel some stares maybe but overall I would recommend! I love this place I have been coming here for years in all the years I’ve only had two times were a mistake happened but it was always resolved or fixed .

We ordered the Taco Sampler (The Chicken Mole was my favorite), the ceviche tostada which you get your money's worth, more tacos, green chili tamale and also the multiple agua fresca's. We enjoyed everything. It's so fresh and homemade. Will definitely be back when we visit again!“

“Called in our order and it was ready in under 15 minutes. The tortillas and machaca burrito are amazing! This may be the first time I've had a burrito and not wanted to put salsa on it. They had great pickles in the salsa bar.

Wasn't as big of a fan of the chilequiles (soggy) and aguas. I'll be back to check out the specials they run midweek. Service was fast and friendly.“

“What a wonderful surprise! This small, quaint spot is serving up some seriously delicious food. I came specifically for the Baja-style fish tacos, and they did not disappoint. The fish was perfectly crispy, lightly battered, and served in generously sized tacos topped with fresh cabbage and flavorful toppings that brought everything together.
I also tried the burger, which was packed with flavor and cooked just right. The service was friendly, fast, and welcoming, making the entire experience even better.

“I’ve been coming to Que Vida Tacos HB for over a year since I discovered they were in Beach Blvd in Morhers shopping center. Their food is excellent and their service is exceptional. They are very kind, friendly and always go out of their way for me and as am eating, I notice them asking other tables, how they like their food and if there is anything else they need. I would give more stars, if I could because Que Vida Tacos is bringing back the genuine old school service that is rear to find. Edwin Jess, Big T, everyone is awesome.“

“Got 4 tacos (2 Asada and 2 Mixed Carnitas), each were about $3 ($12.50 total). Ordered at counter, got food almost immediately. Tacos were filled well and easy to pickup and eat. Both kinds had good texture but I liked the flavor on the asada more. Complimentary grilled onions on the side were great, ate most of them in between bites of taco. Tried the 3 green salsas available. The mild green was creamy with slight citrus flavor. The mid green had good citrus punch, not spicy. The yellow-green had great flavor and had good heat, I used small dabs with the creamy green to cool it off. Plenty of seating, clean interior. Overall great experience.“

“It's a small taco spot at the Cerritos town center, next to the cinema. Based on the reviews, we ordered the Perro combo and the Keto entrée. The Perro taco comes with tortilla, the Keto doesn't, just the cheese. It's rather hot to pick up and hold the Keto taco, we resorted to using knife and fork. We like the taste of the Perro taco, the tortilla is really good. It's quite big and filling. The combo comes with chips and fountain drinks. The staff is nice but took the wrong order and gave us 2 Perro tacos instead although we repeated our order a couple of times. They immediately took it back and prepared Keto. They also forgot the chips and drinks, we had to request it. It was rather busy during lunch rush hour, that's why.“

“One of my daughter’s favorite spots! I’ve passed by many times, and she finally convinced me to check it out. It’s located outside the Bank of America plaza on Bolsa and Magnolia, with easy and plentiful parking.

The vibe is lively and welcoming, like a family cookout. They grill pork off the spit, and beef and chicken slow cooked to perfection, all served in warm, small corn tortillas. The organized sauce bar lets you customize, and the cooks grill onions to your liking.
