“My wife and I are retired and we both love going out for breakfast. We have been looking for a special breakfast location in the south bay for some time and tried Mr. G's . IT IS BY FAR OUR FAVORITE LOCATION - it is a fun, family owned cafe with an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can't beat the food, the price and the friendly staff. We are now Mr. G's regulars .“

“A delicious made from scratch falafel in a great sandwich. Friendly staff. Since my first review I have returned and tried their Chicken and Cheese sandwich. Even better then the falafel sandwich! It is a chicken salad sandwich with lots of yummy chicken salad and Swiss cheese. I had their regular French fries 🍟 Very tasty. Again the staff was very friendly and helpful. Did I mention the tasty chicken?😋😋“

I have a college who is addicted to pastry/desserts and she has been told she has to go dairy free. The agony!!!

Found this place and was able to grab quite a bit of vegan items for her to try.

So my caveat is all this is amazing for vegan-
Chocolate chip cookies 9/10 would almost not know it was vegan, it was also fresh outta the oven.
Snickerdoodle- 3/10 not my vibe, too crispy
Blueberry Scone- 10/10 she lived it
Janessa cupcake- 7/10 overall a solid strawberry choice
Cookies n Cream Cupcake- 10/10 great cake and frosting
Chocolate Lovers Slice- 15/10 our favorite
Herb Cake- odd but not bad 7/10

“MY Best friend went to get himself a turkey sandwich. And two ham sandwich for my daughter and I. He told me all 3 worker's treated him really kind especially the older guy. He said the older gentleman told him to sit down while he prepared his meal and gave him coffee. He said the staff was very kind. Their sandwiches are very good. The best we ever had. “Loving the atmosphere at this locally owned McDonald’s. The seating is inviting and the playlist for the background music is exceptional. It ranges from Jazz music to lounge music and always provide a relaxing vibe.

Sometimes, can find fresh flowers placed on the tables in the coffee area. See photo.

The food items are from your usual McDonald’s menu .

I would recommend the egg biscuit breakfast meal. It rang up at about 7-8 dollars in March 2026.
It includes a biscuit, hash brown, and a coffee latte. Customization options are available.

“I’m a rideshare driver and needed to stop by to use the restroom, and I was genuinely impressed. Compared to other McDonald’s locations, this one was very clean the dining area was well kept and the restrooms were spotless. It was also my first time seeing a two-story McDonald’s, which was pretty cool. (Sorry I do not give 5⭐️)“

“The food is amazing. But what I like the most is the atmosphere. We decided to seat outside. Lovely cute chairs, quiet and breathy. Same deal for the inside. Food was tasty and portions very good in size. We got savory crepe - Crepe heaven special with egg, turkey and cheese. Very good balance of stuffing and crepe. The crepe itself is delicious. Not too dry or chewy. Sweet crepe was loaded with fruits, we’ve opted for condensed milk instead of Nutella. Two crepes to split between two people. We also got coffee and coffee was not bad. I am very picky with coffee but their coffee was surprisingly good! Highly recommend! Pictured strawberry banana crepe with condensed milk.“

“Heard about this place from being a fan of Gene's channel for a bit. Ngl the commute from dt through the rain was a pain but the coffee was definitely worth it! Prices were super affordable and it all was so smooth and flavorful. Didn't get to see the man himself but service was solid and got recommended to take my girl to the sick store down the block that my girl has now populated the coffee table with. Definitely going back and getting a chai asap!“

“I discovered a new go-to coffee shop whenever I’m in town in the future here in LBC🤙🏼On my first visit, I was looking for a coffee shop that serves Affogato and the search led me here. It was a wise choice. I enjoyed the Affogato and tried the traditional Turkish coffee while I was there. WOW! That was so good! On our way out the owner and I had a short conversation about Philippines. He told me next time I come for Turkish coffee, I should also get baklava along with it. So this morning my baby sister and I went back. I did try the baklava along with the traditional Turkish coffee as suggested from my first visit. That was a good recommendation! I had baklavas on my visits in Greece and I would put up the baklava in this coffee shop with the baklavas of Greece. So very good! YUMM! Also, it has a great ambiance to enjoy sipping your coffee and munching on the sweet treats! Don’t think about it anymore! Just come on in and give this Coffee Station a try. I guarantee that you will love it.“

“This location for goodboybob has been a favorite of my wife and I since we moved to the south bay. Its convenient location adjacent to the public library and a block up from the beach makes it a frequent pit stop or starting point for us. The coffees are always delicious and the pastries are solid. Though the pastries can run a little pricey it is consistent with the surrounding market. I specifically am writing this review to highlight though the excellent service. Today one of the baristas (I believe his name was Saul??) generously and pleasantly explained the different beans when he noticed I was checking some of the bags and he spent the time to explain to be the different beans, the variations in roasting process that differentiate some of them, his favorites, and went as far to provide me a fresh hot sample of some that we were discussing. At the end of it I left with just the latte I came in for(which was exceptional as always), but I also left with greater appreciation for the coffee I was enjoying and a good idea of what I can look for and enjoy in my coffee.“

“I travel around all of Southern California for work and visit as many new coffee spots as I can. Tot is easily makes my top 3, and realistically I would list it as my favorite in Southern CA. Unique inventive drinks that hit the mark, great beans, great pricing, reward program, awesome staff, a place of community, and a rotating seasonal menu. I've tried many drinks and like them all but end up siding with the Tot cream latte most of the time. Highly recommend.“

It was a little crowded, but the team moved pretty quickly. You order at the kiosk and I waited only about 10 minutes. Not bad.

I got a brown sugar, Vietnamese coffee. I think that’s what it was called… It was very rich and flavor and fairly priced too!! Will definitely come back to try more.“

“A great cafe in the promenade with stuff for everyone. They have a variety of incredible coffees depending on the mood from delicious sweet lates to bold dark espressos and Americanos. There matcha selection is also on point with a selection of tasty options depending on what you like. The almond croissant is a 10/10 and probably the best I have ever had. No matter when you go in the servers are always very friendly, the drinks comes fast, and the environment feels alive as it is filled with adults talking and students studying among the cute modern interior. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality drink and a quick pastry to eat.“
