“I had the salmon Nicoise salad and my friend had the salmon miso bowl. She said her lunch was good. My salmon Nicoise salad was good, but the salmon was a little over cooked and there was too much dressing on it. Otherwise it was very tasty with small tomatoes, roasted baby potatoes, olives, boiled eggs, etc. I like the convenience of being right in Nordstroms. The service is good. A lottle pricey, but what isn't nowdays?“

“I really like Bada, Coffee! Their drinks are great and unique, with just the right amount of sweetness for me. My favorites are the iced maple oat latte and orange blossom. Their pastries are also delicious, I usually like the rugelach or in the fall they have a tasty pumpkin Nutella bread. They are fast, even when they are busy. There is plenty of parking and they have a cute outside sitting area with a fountain.“

“Was searching on Google maps for a matcha spot, and found this place that had something I haven't had before.

The main star of this was the Maiz con ube. Which was incredibly unique and amazing honestly. It comes out almost like a macchiato, with an extremely thick ube cream topping it.

Trying to take a sip without mixing. It definitely just resulted in a huge sip of ube cream lmao.

But it was so good, it was topped as well with corn flakes, the drink itself is a sweet corn milk drink, with granulated corn flakes in it, very different and a very unique approach to give more textures while having a drink.

It definitely was very good, I would get another one in a heartbeat and it was honestly fair price for the unique sense of it.

The associate Hannah was awesome, very talkative, very informative and didn't steer away from anything when I asked about any of the drinks. She even made a recommendation when I asked about boba, she did not disappoint with that one.

So huge! Shout out to Hannah.

I also had the Maiz con ube muffin, which honestly was a huge change from the drink as it was a lot more relaxed in sweetness, and thoroughly enjoyable and a little dense which I like I liked alot. Again topped with corn flakes which was a nice touch“

“I’ve tried a lot of different food here, and the avocado toast and chicken bowl are my personal favorites and their hojicha is probably one of the best i’ve had in the south bay, nice and strong not too milky. I’m also a sucker for house made lavender syrup and short iced lattes and they do both of those well so this is one of my go-to shops. The baristas there are also funny and do well at remembering my orders so that’s a nice little personal touch.“

“We were happy to see a Philz open up in Torrance and we frequent the place. Our family likes their coffee and it's probably one of the only shops we may get coffee from even though we have excellent espresso at home.

I believe Philz is pour over, their cream makes a big difference and you can control the sweetness.

I usually get the Philtered Soul Large Ice, less Ice, medium cream, light sweet.“

They also serve pastries from local bakery, Kings Hawaiian, with warm breakfast sandwiches and lots of delicious grab and go lunch options like salads and sandwiches. Service was fast and friendly. A large in any boba Utah shop is Tea Station’s regular size, and mostly made of ice and sugar. You can’t taste any tea. “I have to say I haven't been here in a few years because it was really pricey for mediocre milk tea. A couple days ago I received a birthday promo email so I decided to use the $4 off and give them another try. So glad I did! I ordered their Thai tea and wasn't disappointed. Thank you bobaHi!

I also have to tell you about the pickup experience which was comical. They have a separate window for pickup, but they have a privacy glass that prevents you from being seen and prevents the cashier from seeing you. So I walked to the order window - no one there - walked back to the pickup window - no one there. This happened again, back and forth, finally they just asked me if I was picking up. It was hilarious! Wondering how many times this has happened.“

It's a goods place to find items that you cannot get in others stores and if you are a Prime Member you can get nice discounts on their Specials. That said - - the prices are much higher than any other markets in the area so just be aware of this fact.“

“If there’s one place known for Vietnamese coffee, it’s this one. That sweet, creamy, ice-cold brew will keep you wired longer than any energy drink. It’s strong, but in the best way. Don’t even bother asking for less ice because the drink is meant to be diluted. Without it, the coffee is way too concentrated (even their bottled version at Costco says to mix it with ice or water!).

As for the food, their banh mi are always solid. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Prices have crept up over the years, but that’s pretty much everywhere now. Still worth the visit.“

So in the morning when the bright sun clashes with my senses I go here to slowly wake up in my own time with no direct sunlight glaring into my eyes. After sitting a while with my coffee and smartphone I am ready for the world.“

“Tried Yamari in Torrance and got their popular matcha soft serve/parfait along with a matcha drink. Both were really good — you can actually taste the matcha and it’s not overly sweet, which I appreciate.

The matcha was okay, but personally I still prefer making it at home with ceremonial-grade matcha from Japan. The flavor here was decent, just not quite as rich or deep as what I’m used to. The soft serve was creamy and probably my favorite of the two.

A little on the pricey side, but overall a solid matcha spot to try if you’re into matcha, and the dessert was enjoyable, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way for the drink.“

“Went to this place for the first time and absolutely loved it! There is a painting on the wall describing their orgins which apparently is from Taiwan and their tea is harvested from Taiwan. I can tell that this is the truth because I've been to Taiwan and its tea houses and it's top quality tea. This place had all the aromas of the genuine tea houses in Taiwan but with a modern twist since it is applied to boba, milk tea and other drinks. I was extremely surprised at how delicious it was. In fact the the tea's aroma is extremely detectable in this flavor profile which I really appreciate. Because other places sometimes mask the tea flavor with a lot of additives. But this one you can really taste the quality of the tea and and in my case the milk and salted cheese foam just complimented it without overwhelming it. Extremely happy with this experience actually one of my new favorite places to go for boba. I had milk tea (black tea) with half sugar with sea salt cream foam and it was incredible! My dad ordered a matcha latte and I had a sip of his drink and it tasted a lot like the matcha I had in Taiwan which is also just top quality. It's hard to find authentic tasting matcha in the United States but this one definitely delivered. I am somebody who is a foodie and I've been to hundreds of boba places this is definitely one of my favorites. I also appreciate the extremely clean interior that smells like a NEW building and the tables and chairs and floors were also all super clean. I went on a hot day and their air conditioning was perfect not too cold, just right. Just enough tables inside for a pleasant lounging session. A+++“
