“The good:I tried a cinnamon caramel cold brew here and enjoyed it a lot! I think it comes in one standard size. I liked how much cream was on top and I enjoyed the fun flavor combo. I enjoy how Starbucks always has seasonal offerings. I was able to get some work done here and liked that the tables were by outlets and bathrooms didn't require a code. There are probably more outdoor tables here than indoor ones. The bad:The inside only had 4-5 tables. Only one table was fit for 2-4 people but the remainder was for 1-2 and they're all right next to each other. The interior is small and is better for take-out rather than indoor chats and studying or getting work done. There's no drive-thru. The parking lot is often crowded. The area where people wait for their drinks is also in front of the area where you might order so it was confusing to know who was in line. The interesting:There was no cinnamon powder in or on top and no caramel sauce. I was surprised by this. I supposed the flavor comes from a syrup that is integrated into the foam? The foam was purely white so I'm unsure where the flavor was integrated.“
“This location is great for studying. The location like others has their down times and busy times in waves. Plenty enough seating but not enough to over crowd the space to be cramped in. Nice staff - within a shopping center full of other variety of stores, restaurants, etc.“
“Been stopping by Tommy & Atticus since they opened in July. The country, round sour dough is our family favorite. We've tried morning sun citrus pastry (my fav), jalapeno/cheddar sour dough bread, lunch pizza & sandwiches. Great place, great customer service.“
“4++ great neighborhood coffee shop that has fun, chill vibes, and enthusiastic service. There's fun decor inside and looks like a place where people can hang out or get some reading and/or work done. I only got an Americano or drip from here (with added cream), so I can't really speak to the food items or any of the more complex, possibly more sugary drinks here. It looks like they roast their own beans here as well. I had a lot of coffee at home at the time of my visit, so I didn't buy a bag. I might have to come back and grab one. Parking was easy to find. There's a lot on the side of the building. If the lot is full, I'm pretty sure you could find street parking close by.“
“Just a cool placeI probably get the greaser which is a mocha nut mate 5days a weekAll the teas are goodCool merchThe people who work there are super coolAnd the place is just super cool dogs are welcomed also :)They have live music or DJ on Saturday from 7 to 9I’ve tried their peanut butter, açai bowl, decentThey’re starting to introduce MocktailsThis place is tiny, though“
“Cute and friendly cafe inside the SouthBay Galleria. I was looking to try their Nutella Latte, but they had just sold out. Will have to try that on the next visit.I instead went with the Vanilla Rose Latte. It gave me the boost I needed to make it through the rest of the afternoon. The ambience and decor was very inviting, and very much like a neighborhood feel. Reminded me a lot of my neighborhood cafe from when I lived in Leimert Park.“
“I've been here quite a few times now when in the area. I love they offer different sizes for their drinks unlike other coffee shops with just a standard cup. I'd say the drinks are on the sweeter side but can be modified. The service is okay depending on who is there. My favorite was the coconut Vietnamese latte, my daughter had a caramel frappe which was pretty good. Pour over coffee also great just takes longer to brew of course.“
“I have been several times now. I live in the area. Best espresso in Hermosa/Manhattan area. Today I got the cortado with a savory Danish. It is a neighborhood establishment. In the neighborhood. It is a small local business where you can chat with the barista. Great spot to stop on a bike ride on the strand. You can see the ocean from some of the seating.“
“Pursue is: superbly managed and clean beyond reproach. Their food is gourmet and the baked goods are out of this world! David is an absolute pleasure - he has a keen eye for attention to detail. His service is second to none and always with a smile; he remembers my name and order each and every time. He is an incredible barista! Sujin is a Bib Gourmand chef.I highly recommend Pursue for the best coffee, baked goods, and dishes in South Bay.“
“Cafe Aventurero seems like a gem for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality coffee, immerse in a productive atmosphere, and appreciate art and music. It's a place that not only caters to the needs of those wanting to get work done but also creates a pleasant social environment through its friendly community and top-notch service. If you're in search of a spot that ticks all these boxes, Cafe Aventurero is indeed worth trying.“
“Thankfully, this coffee shop location still accepts cash. The clowns in Marina del Rey do not. They should know better, but instead they choose convenience and sell us out to a potential social credit score system, leveraged by money and judgment placed upon your spending. Judgment from unelected individuals.Honor and show preference for businesses that accept cash. Avoid the ones that do not.Use it or lose it. That applies to sovereignty as well as cash.“
“Visited this bakery for the first time last week. Small bakery can easily be missed if you don't know it's there. Service/ambiance was ok, didn't feel super welcoming..... service needs a little improvement. Maybe some light music might help, just a little friendly suggestion. Not sure about parking, I parked right in front of the bakery. Baked goods were awesome. We got a confetti cupcake, churro cupcake, red velvet cupcake, Oreo brownie and a cold Spanish latte. EVERYTHING was so good especially the latte..... I will definitely return to this bakery. Cupcakes were perfect, not too sweet.“
“This cozy restaurant has the best Chia Pudding And their Raw Jam Yogurt I've ever had!! You can’t go wrong with any of their items on their menu… they all taste amazing!! A must go location for clean eating, having celiac and wanting to eat organic vegetarian friendly meals, I wish I lived closer to this place… I visit this location every time I’m in town.“
“I frequent this coffee shop because of the amazing coffee taste and quality. They also have a rewards program to earn free espresso, etc if you come often. I usually get their regular coffee but I have tried the cortadito and mocha. Both super good and not too sweet which I appreciate. They also sell chemex coffee filters! Latiné owned.“
“TMJ Café - A Haven for Donut Lovers If there's one thing you must try at TMJ Café, it's their Maple Bacon Donut. This delightful treat is nothing short of phenomenal. The donut itself is pillow-soft, providing the perfect canvas for the rich, sweet and savory toppings. The maple glaze is expertly balanced - not too sweet, just perfectly syrupy, complementing the crispy, savory bacon on top. Each bite is a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that leaves you craving more. The ambiance of TMJ Café adds to the experience, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's clear that they put a lot of love and care into their baked goods. And if the Maple Bacon Donut is anything to go by, the rest of their menu promises to be just as delightful. In summary, TMJ Café is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Their Maple Bacon Donut is a standout, and I am eagerly looking forward to indulging in the rest of their delicious offerings. Oh goodness gracious, this is a donut lover's dream come true!“
“Inside the enclave, super nice, clean and friendly staff but there's nothing special or specific about their coffee or latte or anything in particular that is not offered anywhere else. The long lines make one wonder if it's bc it's the only cafe inside the enclave? Cuz there are other cafes that do the same if not more innovative drinks.“
“I did not get the full experience of this place. The dining room was closed so orders were placed out front and picked up in the back. That gave me a very limited experience with the staff, but every interaction was fine. Limited menu but the carne asada breakfast burrito I had was excellent.“
“All gluten free desserts! The most popular pastry is the Almond Brioche, it was delicious and different, made with rice flour, served slightly warm and moist inside. We like it that it's not overly sweet. For coffee, we ordered a large mocha, it's on the smaller side, but it's wonderful and also not overly sweet. The service was prompt and friendly. Environment was clean and relaxing. Outdoor seating is a plus, especially for dog-owners.“
“The food is great, a vegan take on soul food, but the wait is ridiculous. I've ordered many times hoping the wait improves, and as of current it hasn't. They open at 6pm and for me that is already late to have a meal, but worse I end up getting my order at least 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. after the designated pickup time. I truly hope the best, but I just can't roll with this.“
“One of my customer referred to me this cafe I have tried today’s was delicious I’m Mexican I’m a cook I’m enjoy a authentic Mexican food this cafe is so far from my own experience the best I have enfrijoladas for me my husband try the chorizo burrito breakfast was 10 out 10 delicious ?“
“I ordered this bowl and smoothie , not only was it delicious but it came out fast and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It was delicious tasty and the ambiance was very welcoming . Definitely will be coming back . Especially since it's so close to home.“
“Cozy cafe that's become my go-to spot for churros and coffee! Favorites include Churro Bites, Churro Ice Cream, and Cafe de Olla. Great options for breakfast include their Bacon Avocado Sandwich and Frittata. I ordered the Churro Box to share with my coworkers and they loved it!“
“This place is a South Bay gem! The coffee is the best I have found in our area, the owner/staff are super friendly, and the food is fresh & delicious. In the morning, it's packed but service is still efficient. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a latte and a crostini!“
“You could miss it driving past but DON'T! New owner has had it for about 3yrs and our family has been enjoying his donuts every chance we get! Today we finally tried his breakfast offerings. We ordered a sausage burrito and a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Both were made to order and yummy. Definitely worth a short wait to get a freshly made breakfast.“
“This place is unlike any other cafe in the South Bay. I have lived here my entire life, but it took moving to Irvine for school to make me realize how much we lack cafes with good work spaces. This place has plentiful seating and parking, wifi, and great drinks. I spent 4 hours studying here on my first visit and intend to come most days during my winter break while I study for my DAT.I remember seeing this place go under construction thinking there is no way it would last because everything goes out of business hidden in the back of the complex. I highly recommend this place for students or anyone who works from home. The ambiance is warm even on a winter rainy day and is truly a hidden gem!“
“I LOVE MESHThe atmosphere is perfect and the aesthetic is beautiful. It’s great for cranking out a few hours of work. It’s calm and quiet yet the perfect amount of busy. the employees are always so kind as well.I also like that your clothes don’t reek of coffee when you leave! lolThanks MESH staff, you’re amazing!“
“While vacationing we like to find local small businesses. I am so glad we found offset. We ate breakfast here every morning. We had the lox, avocado toast and an egg and bacon biscuit. These delicious dishes were made with fresh ingredients and were also visually appealing. The coffee is roasted here providing the best quality product. The talented baristas are super friendly and able to answer your questions. Ample parking is available next to the building and handicap parking and ramp are out front.“
“Definitely one of the better ice cream joints in the South Bay. Nice people very friendly and cool quaint spot for a nice relaxing and chill time. The sweetie is my favorite as well as the honey comb with ice cream too. I also really like their apple with popping Boba drink very refreshing.Parking: Easy parking but make sure you go at the right time bc that location can get packedKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly“
“Got an Asigo bagel with salmon cream cheese and an iced mocha coffee. Very, very good! Got the Fifth Avene bagel to go, which is a lox and cream cheese bagel (chose sourdough) with tomato, onion and plenty of capers. Won-der-ful!!! Have lots more items to choose from! Best bagels! Will be back! When the owner learned was buying for a diabetic, he steered me off the sweet drinks. Very caring people...“
“I was sort of skeptical of this type of restaurant going into that location but we have been really pleased. Food is excellent and well priced, good coffee, a lot of seating with nice ambiance. For counter service type breakfast, this is my favorite in the area.“
“There’s a barista there, I think her name was Emily, she has brown curly hair, but anyways she was so kind and helpful. I had a very complicated drink order and she somehow was able to not come off irritated at all and even answered all my questions. I will definitely be back. The shop was also very well set up and clean and I got my crazy drink in under 3min despite how busy it was“
“My first time trying this place, it's very cute and spacious. I ordered the coconut ube coffee it was different yet very enjoyable. Also, was able to enjoy the sunset view. Will definitely be going again to try their signature house coffee I hear it's a must try.“
“We stopped here for coffee and dessert, the place is a bit old and needs to be cleaned and dusted, in general the restaurant is cozy, there are only three tables inside but more seating is available outside, but if you stay outside be prepared to smell smoking or weed from people passing by. We ordered Expresso and sweet bread, the coffee was really good and the bread was okay, not really amazing, lots of pictures on the wall from famous people, specially Jeni Rivera, but this area is dirty and definitely should be cleaned. The restroom is clean and lots of free parking is available.“
“Liquid gold can be found here! This is a wake up call you don’t want to miss. The smooth nutty profile of the coffee beans at Corridor flow is insane. But we know it all comes down to the barista skills and these guys are all skill. Best coffee I’ve had so far in LA. Will recommend to all but especially the Aussies - it’s been tried and tested against the highest bar ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ 5/5“
“I visited this place for the first time. Wow, they really know coffee. I had a chai latte, it was prepared perfectly and served at the right temperature. My sister had a flaky custard pastry that was buttery, flaky, with a glazed sugar coating. It was delicious.Parking: Located in shopping mall“
“This is the best ramen I've ever had. The taste of the food covers the many shortcomings of this establishment, the biggest of which is the long queue. The last time we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes... Therefore, take the electronic queue in advance, or by QR code. The restaurant itself is extremely small, the tables with windows to the kitchen are blocked by partitions and you get the impression that you are in prison waiting to talk on the phone through the glass. But despite such a strange decision, it is quite convenient for the staff, and the staff here is very friendly and fast.“
“I love pastries and I love bread and I love coffee. I also love that this place is so close to home! But I don't know if it's a good thing for me because now I am addicted lol. The women that work here are All so sweet and always answer my questions about the beverage menu ( which I told myself I'd try every single one) and so far all good but I am loving their gingerbread caramel latte and tried the chocolate peppermint cookie today and omg it is sooo good! Peppermint flavor is just the perfect amount not overpowering, like the lady that helped me said I cannot believe it's Vegan. My kids love their chocolate chip cookies and we enjoy some of their sourdough every now and then! Great little gem in San Pedro.“
“This place is definitely one of the best in the South Bay! When it comes to boba, the milk tea is great, they have some unique flavors along with the classics, but what surprised me is the boba pearls themselves, which are ginormous, chewy, and flavorful but still come up the straw easily and frequently! What's more is the amazing atmosphere! This place resembles a cozy coffee shop with their comfy furniture and paintings, which is a nice twist! They also sell some pastries, which looked pretty good through the display (although I didn't try any).I would highly recommend this place to others in the area.“
“The kind of neighborhood coffee house that actually feels like it's part of a neighborhood. Community bulletin boards, bookshelves, sometimes local art. And a little bit of everything: coffee, tea, pastries, smoothies, etc. Offbeat and home-y despite its spot at the end of a row of trendy restaurants. (And it's been here longer than most of those!) Decent amounts of both indoor and outdoor seating. The kind of atmosphere that makes you *want* to hang out there.Parking: Most of the street parking has been converted to outdoor dining for those nearby restaurants, but it's a very short walk from the metered parking lot across from Trader Joe's.“
“Went for lunch after 1pm on a Tuesday and had to pay $5 for "valet" parking even though we parked ourselves in the empty parking lot. Otherwise, the food and drinks were delicious as always. The staff at the Cafe are great as well. Park on the street if you can or order takeout (there's free parking for pickup/takeout).“
“I ordered a matcha latte and a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel with egg, cheese and avocado instead of bacon. The matcha was mediocre because of the quality but the barista did an excellent job making it with cinnamon and honey. Just couldn't taste much of the matcha flavor itself. The breakfast sandwich was incredible! Bagel perfectly crispy warm on the outside and soft inside, tomato jam incredible flavor. This place is a hole in the wall so not much space to sit except for some benches outside with a stunning view of the ocean. I went early morning around 8am on a weekday. It's a great grab and go location for locals or someone stopping by the area. Baristas were very friendly and chatted with everyone which created a welcoming atmosphere.“
“During a recent trip to Los Angeles for a conference, I found myself at Manhattan Beach with a specific craving for boba tea. After a bit of searching, I was delighted to stumble upon Preso Tea, which presented itself as the perfect spot to satisfy my thirst. The shop offers a convenient self-ordering system, which I found to be an efficient way to explore their extensive menu without feeling rushed. The ambiance of Preso Tea was immediately welcoming, with an evident devotion to creating a pleasant customer experience. I opted for the Thai milk tea, a personal favorite, and it did not disappoint. The drink struck an impressive balance of sweet and creamy, with the tapioca pearls cooked to just the right consistency. Though the names of the staff escape me, their warmth and amiable service added to the charm of my visit. Their friendliness left as much of an impression as the quality of the tea itself, rounding out a memorable boba run in Manhattan Beach.“
“Atmosphere is what this area has going for it. The coffee was pretty decent. But I haven't eaten there yet so I really don't know. But the small container of baklava was $14. Which in my opinion is a little steep for five pieces of baklava.Parking: There's always a spot available but sometimes this is the bikers and runners parking spot so they end up taking a lot spots even though they're not necessarily patrons.Kid-friendliness: I would say it's very kid friendly.“
“Been going here since 2020 and there’s hasn’t been a single time I was disappointed or unhappy with the visit. The coffee and churros are always fresh and taste good. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Truly a spot to visit to hangout, take to go, or even do homework.“
“Hi-Fi is a unique coffee spot in Manhattan beach. I ordered Iced French toast latte with macadamia milk and it was really tasty and a good pick me up. Beckers bakery being in the same building is the icing on the cake because you can get a sweet pastry with your coffee! The staff are super friendly and helpful and they'll offer suggestions if you aren't sure what to get but worth the stop in.“
“Newberry Coffee & Tea in Torrance, CA, offers an exceptional coffee and tea experience. With warm hospitality and a diverse menu of exotic blends sourced from around the world, every visit promises satisfaction. From rare single-origin beans to innovative seasonal offerings, Newberry's dedication to quality and customer service shines through. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or a tea lover, Newberry Coffee & Tea is the perfect destination for a memorable beverage experience.“
“This place has the best donuts I've had in a very long time. We tried the glazed donut holes, strawberry nutella cronut, and the blueberry cheesecake donut and we were blown away at the flavor and freshness. I will no longer crave Krispy Kreme nor the sham that is called Randy's Donuts ever again.“
“Some of the best Service. The Best Donuts. Amazing Sandwiches. Delicious Breakfast Burritos and any morning Snack You may need to get your Day Started ... I'll keep going back for there awesome Donuts and service. The Ambience of the place makes it feel like what it is A Donut Spot. I Highly recommend this place The Young Lady that Helps (Laura) is Amazing big Thank you to her“
“I've had a few cakes from this bakery and they are delicious. The bakery is very cute, def a neighborhood gem. The cakes are large and feed a good amount of people. I like that they can do vegan and everything is decorated beautifully.“
“A really good craft coffee. Cute and minimalist shop with lots of light. They are dog friendly which is great! Lines can get long on the weekends so make sure you plan to wait for that coffee beverage. There's a selection of eats too. Parking is along the street or in the close by structure for the Promenade. You really will not be disappointed when you visit this coffee house.“
