“My family’s favorite boba shop in the South Bay. Having been born and raised in Taiwan, the teas here taste like home. Prices are a bit higher but the quality of everything is significantly better. Really appreciate the friendly and helpful staff there. They use real taro for their taro drinks none of that weird artificially colored purple taro powder found in majority of boba shops. LOVE the smaller sized boba. You can tell the quality of the boba is really good and the smaller size is definitely more kid friendly. People who have mentioned the higher price point have to realize they use really good ingredients. We also love the egg pancakes! Get them and you can thank me later!“

“Tried their passion fruit citrus tea today, it’s so refreshing and tasty! Though they only have crystal boba, you can add it to your tea. The staff is kind and attentive, the atmosphere of the place makes me wanna do my homework in there, perfectly cozy and sweet-nutty scented. Besides their menu, they also sell a 12oz bags of coffee beans imported from different locations throughout the world, I can’t wait to try them!“

“Nice little boba place.
Versatile menu with lots of drink options.
Good but nothing special.
Make sure to double check that the lid is secured. They didn't secure my drink lid and it popped off and spilled hot tea all over my hand and car leather seats.“

“I love trying bubble tea places in the South Bay and I’m so happy I finally tried Amai!
Megan F. was our barista and it was some of (if not the) best bubble tea I’ve ever had. My mom, who was a little stumped with what to get ended up loving her latte. Megan noticed she was hesitant when deciding what to order and even offered to tweak my mom’s drink if she didn’t enjoy it, which was super sweet and I’ve never had a barista offer that.
The atmosphere in the shop is so cute and great for taking photos if that’s your thing. So much natural lighting, would be a perfect place to grab a coffee and work!
I can’t emphasize how cozy and great Amai was, I feel like I’ve found my go-to cafe and bubble tea shop. I can’t wait to come back! ?“

“I got a large coffee milk tea with boba and custard. The tea was fine, loved the custard but the boba was a little too chewy for me and I had to really slow down and take a few more bytes than normal, this is probably better for my digestion anyway, ha ha.I was a little pleasantly surprised that even though I forgot to ask for less sweet, it wasn’t too sweet like other places.I used to order the fruit shaved ice a lot, it’s a great dessert drink with combination of fresh fruits such as mango, kiwi, strawberry, etc, plus flavored shaved ice and varieties of boba. I haven’t been getting since weather hasn’t been that warm. I’m glad the weather is finally getting warmer and I’m looking forward having them again!“

“A local favorite for milk tea and other assortments. The food here is also great but just be mindful that it's more like appetizers. Prices are reasonable and it has a drive-thru. Staff are usually friendly and service is pretty quick.“

“as someone who drinks two cups of milk tea per day, this tea was amazing!! they actually cook the milk with the tea and it does make a difference. the boba itself is chewy and soft and the perfect amount of sweet. also the person who helped me was really nice and accommodating so thank you so much!! would come back again when i am in the torrance area.“
“love this bakery attached to Mitsuwa. Their chocolate muffins are worth a drive. Like their pastries, lighter and less sweet than western options. They have a good selection of drinks as well to go along with your pastries selection.I recommend a quick visit if you are at Mitsuwa.“

“My favorite store that I can't miss when I go to Home Depot or Costco in Torrance is boba hi.Best of all, they have all kinds of boba tea, they taste great and the prices are reasonable.Stop by after shopping and have a cool and delicious meal~~This is a store that makes I feel good.“
“Wait a minute... is it Ding Tea or "Drinks and Tea," or both? Regardless, this boba shop keeps it simple and offers a solid drink option for those that want boba in the area. They have all of the classic drinks you can think of at any boba shop. You can select your tea base, flavor syrup, and milk of choice. They offer some plant-based milk options which was great for me. I went with an Oolong milk tea and it was made well by the boba barista. Not much to say other than it delivers on what it offers. Quick service, easy parking available in the plaza, and I was set.“

“The taiyakis are delicious, they have a lot of filling; Just consider that they are made fresh so it takes about 10 minutes to prepare. It's worth the wait :) This place is highly recommended, it's one of our favorites. The staff is always very friendly. The place is always clean, but except in winter, we prefer to wait for our order outside the premises because it is usually very hot inside (probably because of the taiyaki machines?).“
