“About a year ago, my daughter wanted to try boba for the first time. This location was close to where we were running errands, so we tried it just out of convenience, and I'm glad we did. I wasn't a fan of boba, so I wasn't much help in helping her pick a drink. The team at the location realized my daughter needed help, and they were extremely gracious in their efforts. They made suggestions based on flavors, appearance, and textures, and they really cared to help her find something she would like. My daughter loved her drink and has become quite the boba fan because of them. I even ended up trying a drink and realizing I just wasn't a fan of the traditional Tapioca boba (although it's grown on me). My only complaint is that now my daughter always wants boba. Thank you all for the great experience and the daddy, daughter memory. As a matter of fact, maybe our family will come visit you today for Father's Day!As a note, my family was just discussing having boba today. I looked up this location and saw a negative review that had been left by someone who had VERY much the opposite of my experience. I find it necessary to point out that one person's experience is not always the same as another. Be sure to check if a review is an outlier from the norm, and don't let it cloud your judgment. Also, take notice if someone has a tendency to mostly leave negative reviews. They might be bringing those negative experiences upon themselves, or they may have another motive (especially if they have multiple negative reviews of similar establishments).“

“Ok, this is now my favorite boba tea place. The Ube Coconut milk is insanely good, even at 30% sugar level. They did not have purple rice so I substituted agar, which is so good. I also got an order of unsweetened jasmine tea and double agar. The price is right and the taste is to beat.

“Best Honey Green tea in all Southern CA. Actually, better than the ones in Taiwan. They spare no cost in using only the best quality tea and ingredients. Once you tried theirs, you can’t go to other places anymore. Many of their bread like the red bean bun is a must try and the birthday cakes are always freshly made daily and not too sweet. They also have full sheet part tray fruit cake that are cut into 96 slices, best for large parties or events. Highly underrated and a hidden gem!“

“Love all the bopomofo cafes, I have to go every time I visit SoCal and every friend / family member Ive brought loves it, they use the freshest ingredients and have cool seasonal items like a scallion pancake wrapped chicken supreme wrap, guava matcha. You cant go wrong with the pineapple chicken sandwich, the strawberry corn drink, the shrimp walnut sandwich, etc. I love this place so much, the chicken is always very juicy. The employees are so nice and this place has wifi and a nice work space. Its also nice for dates and has a chill vibe (saw some people having their first dates here)“

“We had Boba Bee cater our 110 people wedding in August of 2025. They were very responsive to our emails to our concerns and we were able to sample a bunch of teas at their location. They were able to adjust the sugar level to our preference on all the drinks. They did all the set up themselves and had the best price around Los Angeles. Their fruit teas and strawberry milk [for the people who can't do caffine] were very popular and they made sure we had one on our wedding day. I recommend the Tropical Fruit Tea and the Thai Twist!“

“I’ve been here a couple times and Jason is a real stand up guy who is very friendly and courteous. His shop is clean and he’s got tons of choices! “El Monte doesn’t have too many good boba spots, but Ono Tea House is a decent option. Prices here are a little lower than most places, which is nice.

The tea itself is just okay — not super strong — and the drinks can lean on the sweeter side. I usually order mine with 1/4 sugar since I don’t like them too sweet.

Overall, it’s not a spot I’d go out of my way for, but if you’re in El Monte and really craving boba, it does the job.“

“I came here twice now, and it's been fantastic. The passion fruit cane was delicious, as was my coconut milk tea. Not too sweet as requested. And now, my matcha latte was very refreshing. “Recommended to us by a local restaurant owner, we took a drive over to try them out. They have an amazing fresh fruit selection (including persimmon, which I hadn’t seen before) like strawberry and watermelon (which is one of my favorites).

We like them so much we’ve made the 20 minute drive several times already during our short stay. The drinks seem to run a little sweet so I make the less sugar option. They seem to automatically add a jelly to the drink (at least the several we’ve ordered).

“We recently ordered two boba drinks from Bobuzz, including their signature “PMC” with boba and “The Dark White.” While the overall flavor of the drinks was comparable to other quality boba shops, the tapioca pearls (“boba”) were unfortunately undercooked, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, offering customers the option to customize the sweetness level would be a welcome improvement. While there is potential, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. Personally, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a dessert stop after a pleasant meal, at least not for now.“

“This place got some new drinks. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their new choco strawberry frosty and strawberry Hokkaido milk tea to try. The frosty had an icy, rich, deeply chocolatey base with a creamy, tangy, cheesey strawberry foam. Legit a desert drink. My fave was definitely the strawberry Hokkaido milk tea tho. Very floral, milky, and sweet, with plenty of jiggly strawberry jellies. Overall these were lowkey pretty good.

I’m still making my way through their menu but there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t wish I ordered a large of. Their team is exceptional, especially during COVID. You can order online to expedite your experience. Be sure to say hi to Hailey, the owner, who always comes up with these amazing beverages. Will definitely be back!“

“I'd give this place more like a 3.7 or something, but I just rounded it up. Boba and drinks I'd say is about average, nothing too special. The decor is pretty nice and I like the atmosphere. As for the cranes, they're more on the weaker side and even as someone who plays quite a bit of them, it is more difficult than not to win. They're not stacked up, so you can't knock them in and have to rely entirely on the claws strength, many of which won't even lift it up. There were some other ones like rolling the dice or scoring points, but I didn't try them out so maybe those ones are more generous. Hopefully they adjust the settings abit, but I did have a staff member who offered to move the prizes around. Overall, I'll probably come back at least one more time to try it out, but don't expect to come out with a bunch of prizes. Each game try is about $2-$3“

“My family and I frequent here quite often and every single time, the drinks were on point! Thai tea, Thai-chata, strawberry vortex, pineapple escape, milky way taro, polar pomegranate are just a few that I've tried and would recommend but everything including food is so good. All the girls that work there are AMAZING and lovely !!! Alyssa is sincerely the best! As soon as she sees me walk in , she knows my order and is already making my order lol. “New spot in SGV! Came back a few times now to try different things. Everything has actually been pretty good, so I thought it was worth a review. Personal fav is the Purple taro cheese slush! First taro drink I've tried with actual taro bits in it. Bomb! Also recommend the Superfruit Cup if you want something fruity. Very refreshing and has real chunks of fruit in it.

Overall the drinks are really tasty and made with quality ingredients compared to other spots that mostly just use syrup and flavoring. Definitely curious to try all the other stuff on their menu. Plenty of parking in the lot too which is a big plus!“

“Hidden gem in Carson! This place is soo good! Obsessed with their drinks/lattes. Everything’s taste soo good but my favorite one is the Ube Taho Boba definitely reminded me of Philippines!

Service is amazing! They did my drinks aesthetically pleasing and the staff were fast and very sweet.
