Here’s what I tried:

Osmantheous Oolong Milk Tea with Boba (less sugar, less ice): This was fantastic! The tea-forward flavor was exactly how I like my milk tea, and the boba had just the right texture—not too chewy and not overly sweet. I’d definitely order this again.

Strawberry Oolong Tea (less sugar, less ice): A little on the sweeter side for my taste, but still a great deal at just $2.99.

To my surprise, they were running a buy-two-get-one-free special during Christmas week! The third drink that was part of the promotion was an Iced Strawberry Matcha, which was quite sweet but still a nice addition to the experience.

“I've been to this place many times and I really like it. It has a very thick tea flavor. They actually prepared a puppy cup for the puppy, with an egg yolk on top! I just love it so much!! The waiters were very friendly. Even though it was already past 9 p.m., they still faced every customer in a very good state. I will recommend it to everyone around me!“

“Love all the bopomofo cafes, I have to go every time I visit SoCal and every friend / family member Ive brought loves it, they use the freshest ingredients and have cool seasonal items like a scallion pancake wrapped chicken supreme wrap, guava matcha. You cant go wrong with the pineapple chicken sandwich, the strawberry corn drink, the shrimp walnut sandwich, etc. I love this place so much, the chicken is always very juicy. The employees are so nice and this place has wifi and a nice work space. Its also nice for dates and has a chill vibe (saw some people having their first dates here)“

“We had Boba Bee cater our 110 people wedding in August of 2025. They were very responsive to our emails to our concerns and we were able to sample a bunch of teas at their location. They were able to adjust the sugar level to our preference on all the drinks. They did all the set up themselves and had the best price around Los Angeles. Their fruit teas and strawberry milk [for the people who can't do caffine] were very popular and they made sure we had one on our wedding day. I recommend the Tropical Fruit Tea and the Thai Twist!“

Their portions are much larger than other shops, and the tea flavor is pronounced and not covered by sugar/milk. The manager, Ryan, was super helpful in preparing our bulk order for the wedding, and it was a major hit during our wedding. “We recently ordered two boba drinks from Bobuzz, including their signature “PMC” with boba and “The Dark White.” While the overall flavor of the drinks was comparable to other quality boba shops, the tapioca pearls (“boba”) were unfortunately undercooked, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, offering customers the option to customize the sweetness level would be a welcome improvement. While there is potential, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. Personally, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a dessert stop after a pleasant meal, at least not for now.“

I totally misjudged this place from the outside but once you step in you’ll be pleasantly surprised to the decor and aesthetic of this eye pleasing place. The back patio is equally as gorgeous with it being so lush with plenty of seating for large parties. The drinks are pretty good but i personally think it would be a better experience if they offered dine in mugs or cups but that’s just my opinion. We ordered one of their Croffles with mixed fruit or berries I should say. It was good but a little bit chewy but still flavorful with an eye pleasing presentation. All the girls that work there are AMAZING and lovely !!! Alyssa is sincerely the best! As soon as she sees me walk in , she knows my order and is already making my order lol. The other girls know what I like as well lol. Now for the two guys that work there , they are honestly rude from time to time ,not always friendly nor welcoming.
