“This is the place you want to go to if you want a boba. There’s So many options. Although, there is many options , I always get the same thing lol. I’ve been going there since 2017!
All the girls that work there are AMAZING and lovely !!! Alyssa is sincerely the best! As soon as she sees me walk in , she knows my order and is already making my order lol. The other girls know what I like as well lol. Now for the two guys that work there , they are honestly rude from time to time ,not always friendly nor welcoming. “As someone who likes creative and colorful drinks I can say that It’s Boba Time
doesn’t disappoint. Every once and a while I like to get boba with my friends or
usually by myself after a walk around the town center so I usually go to It’s Boba Time
because they have one of my favorite drinks there the galaxy iced tea. The galaxy
iced tea is a really colorful iced tea made with butterfly pea tea, strawberry
lemonade, and small star-shaped mango jelly which helps give off the galaxy vibes.
They also have the sunset iced tea which looks similar to the galaxy iced tea but has
a different yet tasty flavor. The sunset iced tea contains butterfly pea tea, hibiscus
tea, and passion fruit juice. These two drinks are just a few of all the delicious and
beautiful drinks that It’s Boba Time has. I guarantee it’s definitely worth checking out.“

“The spot is super cute and the gal who made my tea was so friendly and helpful. Quick too I swear she made my drink in like a minute. I got the matcha blueberry latte slightly less sweet with oat milk instead of dairy and with boba. It's really good matcha and the blueberry is a sweet pairing for it. 🫐 There was plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside. They have some cute t-shirts and bags and claw machines which is fun and a sweet little photo op but this looks like a nice place to hang out for a bit with your matcha and get some work done. “Surprisingly spacious inside! They do have a rear lot, but street parking is probably your best bet. It’s definitely more of a social hangout than a quiet study spot, but the layout works well. Despite the crowd, service was efficient, I had my two drinks in less than 10 minutes. The peach oolong was a pleasant surprise and better than expected.“

“Usually boba shops don’t stand out from other boba shops. Except this one. This Cerritos outlet of 7 Miles Tea Lab has more creative blends of toppings with different textures and tiny taste bombs. I would select lower sugar level since the ingredients being blended seem already sweet enough. Unless you are a super sugar tooth. As said these are serious dessert drinks and much less like your simple milk tea with tapioca boba balls. They only have one kiosk to order your drink sk there might be quite a wait if the customer ahead of you cannot decide what to order since the choices of drinks and toppings are varied. There is plenty of free parking in the strip mall parking lot.“

“Best Honey Green tea in all Southern CA. Actually, better than the ones in Taiwan. They spare no cost in using only the best quality tea and ingredients. Once you tried theirs, you can’t go to other places anymore. Many of their bread like the red bean bun is a must try and the birthday cakes are always freshly made daily and not too sweet. They also have full sheet part tray fruit cake that are cut into 96 slices, best for large parties or events. Highly underrated and a hidden gem!“

“I had a Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea with no ice and level 1 (of 5) sweetness. I really enjoy freshly brewed milk tea (freshly brewed after order is placed) compared to milk tea prepared with tea that was brewed well in advance, had been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long, and used only after the order is placed. I definitely recommend to try their boba tea.“

“Love all the bopomofo cafes, I have to go every time I visit SoCal and every friend / family member Ive brought loves it, they use the freshest ingredients and have cool seasonal items like a scallion pancake wrapped chicken supreme wrap, guava matcha. You cant go wrong with the pineapple chicken sandwich, the strawberry corn drink, the shrimp walnut sandwich, etc. I love this place so much, the chicken is always very juicy. The employees are so nice and this place has wifi and a nice work space. Its also nice for dates and has a chill vibe (saw some people having their first dates here)“

Favorite- passion fruit green tea with tea jelly and most of their fruit teas cost under 5$.
You can add a few toppings for free which includes- tea jelly, coffee jelly, boba pearls and pudding. Very popular so be prepared to wait in a line to place an order but the service otherwise quick.“

“El Monte doesn’t have too many good boba spots, but Ono Tea House is a decent option. Prices here are a little lower than most places, which is nice.

The tea itself is just okay — not super strong — and the drinks can lean on the sweeter side. I usually order mine with 1/4 sugar since I don’t like them too sweet.

Overall, it’s not a spot I’d go out of my way for, but if you’re in El Monte and really craving boba, it does the job.“

“Not sure if that was a tea place for me. Firstly, it was really sweet. Even though you can choose your own preference of sweetness ( I chose 50%) my tea tasted overly sweet. I got the fruit tea. A different and distinct flavor from other fruit teas I’ve had. Both drinks tasted heavy on sweetness despite the level being 50% and other 25% . However, I would give this place another try since the flavors were distinct and the place was neat and clean.

It is a self serve and not to hang out tea place. So just order and go.“

“Tried Bobacraft Cafe for the first time today — came for the boba, ended up blown away by the food.

Got the Taiwanese popcorn chicken bento and tofu pudding dessert. The popcorn chicken was crispy, seasoned exactly the way it should be — you know the kind if you’ve had it from a night market stall. Not toned down, not over-sauced, just right. The tofu pudding was smooth and comforting in that quiet, classic way that’s hard to explain if you haven’t grown up with it.

Honestly didn’t expect the flavors to feel this close to what I remember from Taiwan. It’s the kind of food that makes you a little nostalgic without trying too hard.

The one thing that stood out to me was the interior visuals — they don’t quite match the personality of the food yet. The flavors have a real identity, a genuine Taiwanese street snack soul, but the posters and branding inside the shop haven’t caught up. I actually put together a few poster redesigns during my meal to share with them — felt like a small way to give back after food that good. Hope they find it useful.“

“Recommended to us by a local restaurant owner, we took a drive over to try them out. They have an amazing fresh fruit selection (including persimmon, which I hadn’t seen before) like strawberry and watermelon (which is one of my favorites).

We like them so much we’ve made the 20 minute drive several times already during our short stay. The drinks seem to run a little sweet so I make the less sugar option. They seem to automatically add a jelly to the drink (at least the several we’ve ordered).

South El Monte is also home to a lot of Taiwanese boba supplies companies and import so that makes people who start boba shop businesses in the South El Monte an easy access to the materials and that makes it all thrive. When I am not getting the 7Leaves down the street in South El Monte, I would come here to study Mandarin or work on software engineering projects remotely. I think South El Monte has a thriving community of Asian and boba drink lovers. Hello Boba adds another great addition to that one. Another great option is Boba Time which is also right down the same street. I love to get boba and then head to the King Taco place and drink boba with my taco.“

“We recently ordered two boba drinks from Bobuzz, including their signature “PMC” with boba and “The Dark White.” While the overall flavor of the drinks was comparable to other quality boba shops, the tapioca pearls (“boba”) were unfortunately undercooked, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, offering customers the option to customize the sweetness level would be a welcome improvement. While there is potential, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. Personally, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a dessert stop after a pleasant meal, at least not for now.“

“Giving this a 5 star rating all around although the guy at the register wasn’t necessarily the friendliest however I can admit he seemed like a hard worker, he was at the register then the back making our order so it’s ok. Everyone there seemed to be having an amazing time hanging out. My husband and I were just in the area and decided to check out the nearest boba place and I’m glad we landed here (wink), hubby got a Thai tea, I know he’s so basic lol and I got the pink peach tea both with boba. “This place got some new drinks. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their new choco strawberry frosty and strawberry Hokkaido milk tea to try. The frosty had an icy, rich, deeply chocolatey base with a creamy, tangy, cheesey strawberry foam. Legit a desert drink. My fave was definitely the strawberry Hokkaido milk tea tho. Very floral, milky, and sweet, with plenty of jiggly strawberry jellies. Overall these were lowkey pretty good.

“There's no denying that boba flows through my veins and a place like Sunright only adds to the obsession. This location is tiny - very little parking is available on the streets and this being situated next to a high school means they get BUSY after school gets out. You have enough space to order either at the counter or on the kiosk, with the latter being preferred. On my recent visit, they ran out of boba on a Friday afternoon and I was gutted. I still went with another topping with my Oolong Milk Tea with Soy Milk, which was a solid substitute but not quite the same without my black pearls. Tea quality was fantastic and I enjoyed my drink. However, my friend ordered their Grapefruit Tea with Boba and omg... one of the best fruit teas that I've ever had from a boba shop. I immediately regretted relying on my milk tea to quench my thirst and should have gone the fruity route. I'm taking note for the next time I am in the area.“

Thai tea, Thai-chata, strawberry vortex, pineapple escape, milky way taro, polar pomegranate are just a few that I've tried and would recommend but everything including food is so good. “I have had a few of the specialty drinks (Sunset Passion and Dragon Slayer) and really enjoyed them. However the main drink I would usually get is a Mango tea and the mango puree is more of small/thin mango chunks and doesn’t really seem like it has as much mango flavor as I am used to.“
