He said the older gentleman told him to sit down while he prepared his meal and gave him coffee. He said the staff was very kind. Their sandwiches are very good. The best we ever had. “OMG!!!! I vendor of ours brought some donuts from here to our office and OMG!!!!! This shop has the best donuts ever. I will be 54 years old this month and I’ve had donuts from everywhere I’ve been and by far these are the best donuts ever. So moist and fresh. Even 3 day old donuts don’t compare to other donuts I have. I even called them to say how awesome they are. Totally recommend them. Keep it up Rays Donuts.“

“My spouse and I come here at least once a week. We really enjoy the sandwiches and the iced coffee (strong and sweet, just how I like it). They stuff the sandwiches with lots of ingredients but will leave off any ingredient that you want and even give you pickled peppers on the side. We don't understand why anyone would even go to the Dunkin down the way when you can go to this place. The donuts are big and fresh here. They have such a variety of food and drinks (like fresh juices) that I'm amazed every time. If you think you won't find something you'll like, go in and at least see the menus on the wall.“

“I like to stop at this donut place when I'm in the area. They have a large variety of donuts and they all look delicious. Prices are reasonable. I usually get a mocha ice blended drink. The man who helped me last time fulfilled my request to have the drink extra blended (sometimes the ice is too chunky to drink through a straw when it's not blended enough). He was kind about helping me out. The lady is so kind too. I was having a rough time one day and she shared some kind words with me that kept me going. Super subtle flower note, not so sweet, very light. Bob was warm and soft in the middle. This drink hits the boba spot and competes with the best of them in taste and in price.

“I come to Sweet Time Donuts once every 3 months which is 4 to (sometimes) 5 times a year primarily to play my lottery scratchers for almost 3 years now. Each time I play here, I win back more than what I spent. It's funny I just came back this month and learned someone recently won $25k four days after I showed up. This is a sign I will eventually win the big prize 1 day and the ladies are so cool they gave me a courtesy donut not too long ago for playing multiple scratchers and remembering me every time I come. Fast forward 27 years later, it is still the same owner behind the counter! The memory she has is remarkable! As there was a period of time that I didn't live in long beach and it was years before I came back here! That first time coming back, her tone was just that, like a family member who hasn't seen you in a long time! Remembered who I was, asked about my grandmother, mother and brother, and now that I have kids of my own, she has met my 2 daughters as well! And I tried the Ham & Cheese Croissant and Strawberry Cream Cheese Croissant.
The Croissants were
big and delicious! 😋
